Hi Craig! Thanks for visiting my channel. I often want to cover ever square inch with plants and flowers but I also want to share my space with others and I absolutely want them to be comfortable and be able to move about without worry. It’s so awesome to hear that you and your wife can share in the joy gardening! Be well!
Wow Craig, this post made me cry. I’m dealing with a spine injury (it’s going to be ok, just difficult) and your sweet kindness towards your wife made me cry happy tears. My husband is wonderful too and it just warms my heart to see your love and consideration for yours. ❤️🌱
I do all my root plants in extra large grow bags. The potatoes really love them, great drainage, great airflow. This year I am also trying garlic and onions in grow bags. Also like to mention I am on my third summer using the same grown bags

But the rest..oh me oh my…luckily there were veggies in raised beds that were covered with tulle fabric.
Nice garden, nice work. I do containers too, have about 80 right now. For your small row of rectangle pots make a small platform, maybe using 2 x 4s. Put four wheels on it. Now you can move it around , out of your way. Have a good harvest!
I want my garden to look like yours when it grows up! Just now beginning w a container garden, as my backyard is too rocky for in-ground planting. Such a good view of what I’m aiming for! Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻
Be sure to plant some red, purple (blue), & yellow flowers that are perennial. In NC mine bloom mid-June. This attracts honey bees, butterflies, and bumble bees. They need a little shallow cup of water. This gets your peas, beans, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers pollinated. That means more beans and most vegetables. Bees have gotten thin here because more highways have killed all the plants once there. Your garden is so beautiful and neat.
