No worries. No one is more disappointed in Yamaguchi's turnout this episode than himself.
That Coach Ukai got mad at Yamaguchi us valid, but Ennoshita (Daichi's sub) shielding Yamaguchi from his wrath really gets to me every time. We cowards already know what we are and hate ourselves for it, but sometimes what we need is for someone to have a bit more faith in us until we can pick ourselves up again. ❤

I get the disappointment around Yamaguchi, but let's not forget that he's been putting in more work than most. He sought out a mentor on his own to learn something new because he wanted to be a bigger part of the team and he spends a lot of solo time practicing his serves. He's still a work in progress and honestly his progression is one of the most realistic. Love your reactions. I subbed after my first watch.

Enoshita has a huge presence in Haikyuu stage plays so when I watched them, I started to appreciate his character more. He's always around, being closer to the 2nd years and helping them with their studies, plus he's very funny most of the time.

usopp mention !! lotta ppl hate him, but i got a soft spot for him cause he's the most realistic character in a world like one piece + he's funny + he gets fine as hell later on
Its wasnt yamaguchi's confidence that got him but the lack there of since he barely made it in first time so he didn't accidentally wanted to lose one and cancel it out and so he ran away. He is such an amazing and real character and since he development is slow and takes its time the pay off feels well worth it as well.
