  • I Run a See-through Rotary (Wankel) engine and Film it in Slow Motion so we can see how the combustion process works, aka Wankel Rotary engine.
    here you can also see what is inside of a rotary engine (Wankel), while it's running in full view to see just visually witness how a combustion process differs from the piston engine counterpart.
    First ever See Through Rotary Engine Series on RUclips or anywhere in the world.
    Have you ever wondered how a Wankel engine works differently from a conventional piston engine then you're watching The Right video, because with my see-through angle engine you can see inside the combustion chamber as the engine is running while I film it with high speed cameras to show you how the Wankel combustion process works.
    This is the first episode of the see-through rotary engine series and the second season of The see-through engine series.
    So make sure to go to the playlist tag and check out the entire series of see-through Engine videos, the second season starts soon.

      Yes, it is a shame that so much 'burnt' fuel is wasted. We can no longer accept such pollutants in today's world. But several experimenters have found solutions to this problem so the engine may have a future yet as a classic and compact, lightweight power-plant.

      The situation isn't anywhere near that bad, but the same flaws do nevertheless exist.
      I personally believe that wankels may never become 'fixed' of their flaws, but we have naturally not seen all potential improvements so it's impossible to know.

    • @WarpedPerception
      @WarpedPerception  6 лет назад +59

      That is exactly right, that is why this particular Engine That I Used is called the NSU Wankel. About time somebody knows their history!!!

    • @taofledermaus
      @taofledermaus 6 лет назад +28

      I had an NSU Prinz micro car, so I knew about their early Wankel Spider attempts and failures with finding the right apex seals. They were more into making motorcycles and many people know of the company by that crazy Kettenkrad tank-treaded motorcycle in WW2. Great video, I appreciate how much effort it took!

    • @WarpedPerception
      @WarpedPerception  6 лет назад +18

      Yes, when I was editing this episode I was looking for some good pictures or videos of that tank, I had seen that a while back on a project that I was working on for the History Channel, I can't remember what the documentary was about but I even contacted the network to see if I can get some of that footage, they didn't get back to me in time to include it. I thought that was insane that they wanted to use a rotary for a mass-produced tank. Thanks, it was a pain in the a** but I knew somebody had to do it. Originally scheduled to be a 2-day shoot it ended up being a 16 day shoot. Thanks I'm glad you liked it, episode 2 is going to be nuts, all of this is building up to episode 3.

      Jared Zadorozny well I don't know, The MythBusters did better than The Slow Mo Guys, and I was supposed to take their spot last year, but I had some health issues, a ton of crippling nerve damage, I just got over it about 2 months ago which is why we are now posting full format episodes RUclips. I'm not really competing with The Slow Mo Guys in my opinion, they do something totally different, I mostly use high-speed as a tool, almost out of necessity. We will see what happens, I'm pretty new to RUclips, slow mo guys started like 8 years ago, I started last year. All that being said I have some absolutely epic subjects on the way this year, the way I wrote this show is to take people into a journey that they've never seen before. Thanks for the support
