@@DirtyD07 I think they are tighter than ever and you are so right. Initially, It felt a little awkward, and the more I saw how they interacted on Coops subsequent interviews, well you could just tell there was never any rift.
He likely just wanted to do his own thing and be his own boss. He also wasn't a very huge part of the channel, he was a Merch guy I believe and behind the camera most of the time. He was also quite awkward on camera as he still is somewhat, but it's his own and doesn't have the contrast between his awkwardness and cleet and James energy.

Cooper, you're missing part of Garrett's business model of blowing up engines for the channels growth, you need to do something to make the car quicker, replacing a couple of valves ain't gonna excite anyone, that's just maintenance. Since I don't know your finances it's hard to say"it's billet time" or time to go 4 link or turbo 400, whatever path you choose you need 2-4 tenths just to be competitive in your class and we all know that's going to cost money...good luck and may the sauce be with you....

@@RocksConcreteMinerals I think that would be totally foolish on his part to spend money, time or effort for something that is a popularity contest to begin with, let alone there aren't enough competitions that have payouts, Sleeperdude just won back to back events and the payouts were a $500 Holley gift card for each, I doubt it would have paid for the engine he blew up in Bristol, let alone the travel costs and hotel room. If he is banking on winning a Cleetus n Cars that is setting yourself up for failure as his popularity contests have Derek@vgg, Matt@ demo ranch, Roman Attwood, Cleetus, LS George, Jackstand just to name a few that have much larger fan bases than Cooper.

@@DirtyD07 it just doesn’t make sense to have a real dedicated barra car here. Parts at any moments notice ? Yea not gonna happen here. Only if you’re probably willing to pay thru the nose also. If he wants to do tons diff events and fix easily on the fly he’s gonna need a readily available engine platform here.

Jay from Real Street always recommends 3 speed transmissions because there is too much RPM drop on two speeds which leads to increased load and time to build rpm. All negatives and no benefit.
3 speed is better for sure. Just a budget issue not a lack of knowledge issue

No, he’ll go billet 2J before he goes small block Chevy. But a billet 2J block is very pricey between 11K-20k+ so who knows. He may surprise us.

Taking the engine and transmission out, all by yourself, in just a couple of hours is a feat in itself. It's good that you have all that F body space to work in, 😊.
