Do all mini jack Russel’s have a gait more like a bulldog? I’ve noticed mine has a gait like an English bulldog and her mother and father have the same gait. How did they actually create this breed? Was it just someone using a regular jack Russel that came out dwarf and so they breed them with another dwarf to make this breed? Also my mini jack Russel has a stubby tail. I didn’t get to ask the breeder if they actually docked the puppies tails or if all minis just have a stub rather than a long tail? This litter definitely is different than the regular Jack Russel’s they were also breeding. I’ve notice no different as far as intelligence between the standard Jack Russel and the mini. Why isn’t the mini recognized by the American Kennel Club? Can we work to make them be recognized?
That is so not true. It is called a Russell Terrier and it is recognized

Mine was a dwarf. All the other from the litter were normal height. She was a real crowd stopper. 9lbs and looked like a body builder. Miss that dog.
Mine is 30 pounds not a year how is it a jack? He has the coloring but not the size
