Why does this look way too wet for me ? I think he used way too much liquid white. His paint is not just blending in but actually way too wet and slippery

This is much more impressionistic than Bob's, but certainly still looks good...

Awesome. So there is no need to add thinner to the paints? Just use them straight out of the tube?
It is better to use the paints directly from the tubes without thinning.
You add thinner to the paint when your paint isn't sticking to the undercoat. A thinner paint will always stick to a thicker paint.
