I was never really into Bob Ross, until one day when my mom was going out to run errands and I was watching TV. I came across the show, and I was just in awe by what I saw. After the show was over I went onto RUclips, and I watched more Bob Ross. Immediately I told myself that I would love to learn how to paint. He was such an amazing man with a very big heart and a wonderful personality
As an 80's kid, I have a very special place in my heart for Bob Ross, I have many memorable moments in time watching The Joy of Painting with my mom and dad and unfortunately I don't have very many memories with both of my parents together so those Memories are close to my heart. I've been able to utilize Bobs technique with paints, Sharpies, Color Pencils, and Acrylic Paint Pens. I can't paint like Menot, or B. Ross for that matter, but Bob would express the fact that, you don't have to be the best ever, you only have to be proud of yourself and don't give up and believe that you can. With that mindset you'll truly be surprised by what you are capable of. Bob showed us how to recognize Blessing's, and expressed the importance of giving your time, your efforts, and the blessing back to others. With out a doubt 100% BOB ROSS made me a better person, and showed me that it's ok for man to have a softer side and by expressing yourself honestly doesn't make you a homosexual. At a time in humanity where Being Gay, or even having Gay friends made you less than, and not a real Man. Bob was a great example for heterosexual men are not anything less for focusing on the love for a art, animals, for other people, and showing the emotions without fear of being put into a group that is Taboo, the pros over the cons of being able to deal with our human emotions without using anger, hatred and regrets are overwhelming and that ability creates a better mindset and environment for everyone to handle everything good bad and ugly within our lives
I stumbled onto this documentary by accident. But, I am so happy to have done just that. The BR Experience is amazing. I am honored to be taking my CRI classes in the home Bob filled in. Thank you to everyone that made this all possible!
Ski, toaster, bobble head? Kowalski family has prostituted the image and legacy of Bob. After watching Bob’s son Netflix documentary. BRI should be ashamed of themselves!!
Unbelievable. The guy that painted along with bob, what an experience. To have bob paint trees himself on his painting along with him and sign it. Wow what a treasure.
This is a great Experience and we are BEYOND THRILLED to have The Bob Ross Cherrywood Challenge hanging at Minnetrista during 2022! This is a small art quilt exhibit of 200 pieces made from artists all over the world! It is so hard to describe, but these little artworks honor Bob with hand-dyed fabric, needle and thread. You won't believe your eyes! Included with admission of The Bob Ross Experience.
No more. Watch the documentary about Bob Ross on Netflix. Boycott ALL BRI It's up to us to hit those thieves where it hurts them the most: their pockets.
The Kowalskis were frothing from the mouth when they wanted to do this, since the toasters and skis never really done too well. I always understood their interest was always the business of it, and had they not helped him get started he probably would never been heard of, but skis and toasters have NOTHING to do with art, or an artist. Bob Ross was a bohemian. He was not a greedy corporate capitalist. He did however kind of steal the happy little sayings from an artist by the name of Bill Alexander, which did the same type of program as Ross before Ross, and I believe taught Ross. You can find him on RUclips, and he says the same things, only he is very aggressive and has a very thick German accent. Ross was not a dope smoking hippy. He had learned the freedom of self-expression and tried to share that with the world. The reason he drew all to him was not just his calmness, but he taught us that no matter what the world is doing or bringing, when you are alone at the canvas creating art, there are no rules, no guidelines, no right or wrongs morals or ethics, judgments etc. Its only what you decide it to be, and for a moment, you get to rule the world as you see fit. So, in a nutshell he sold us the ticket to contentment, which is the whole key to happiness and peace in life.....
Everything that has the name "Bob Ross" benefits those THIEVES. So if we want to do something good for the real Bob Ross's legacy and for his son, we OUGHT TO boycott ALL Bob Ross
Bob Ross Inc does not profit from the Bob Ross Experience. The exhibit is part of a larger non-profit museum, Minnetrista, and all ticket sales support their local programming in the community Bob chose to make his home for the Joy of Painting.
I am a big Bob Ross fan and I will never ever go see this place. Not as long as they continue to steal his legacy from the one man who should have it. And that would be his son Steven Ross. These people keep talking about how they love Bob Ross, well if you did, you wouldn't have taken his legacy from him son. Bunch of jerks.
Seriously, a Bob Ross Toaster, with all the proceeds going, not to his family, but his corrupt and abusive, partners… HARD PASS (and, you should be ashamed :(
The masks are a turn off. No masks in AZ. My support is for Steve Ross, that's what Bob wanted, not Bob Ross, Inc. who stole his legacy away from him. I will never support that.
Bob Ross Inc. they have tarnished the legacy of Bob. Steven Ross has that spirit within him!

He even got to finish the rare unfinished bob ross painting.

Bob Ross was a fantastic person but his business partners the Kowalski's were terrible people.

Yes this is why my resolve to never go out of state only strengthens each year. Last time I traveled to other states was 2014.

yet another reason not to buy into Bob Ross, Inc.
Gross.
