Omg this is so good!!! I once had a heart to heart talk with my bed when I was getting a new bed to let it know that I appreciated the sleep it provided me but it was a toxic relationship because it gave me back pain.
I'm ENFP but I pack with Te in overdrive. When I pack it's to survive a nuclear war! :p I simply cannot leave behind anything! What if... (there was a delayed flight, a snowed out day, a stomach bug and a fever and a sprained ankle all in one, and an earthquake and... ykwim!) The end result is an overstuffed bag, maxed out to the weight allowance and everything packed at the 11:30th hour! :/
I (ENFP) always over pack clothes. Ironically enough I'm also that over packs medicine, too? Oh and kudos for having a Perry the Platypus pillow pet and Seventh Generation dish soap.
Lmao I just throw a bunch of things I think I'll need the day of the trip. i usually end up forgetting a bunch of items or over packing because of the (unlikely) possible outcomes.
Ahahah, I do recognise this event everytime I go anywhere with my INTJ friend, always commenting on my packing and i'm almost like "last minute" while he's packed like ages in advance So funny ^^
Lol so funny. I honestly don't bring stuffed animals on trips with me. Don't want to leave them on accident. Also I have most of my stuff packed the night before and I usually am the first one in the car.....OK one of the first ones in the car in my family. If it's just me and my mom then I'm the first most of the time. Also...... When I'm hungry WE STOP FOR SNACKS!! No if ands or butts about it. Xp
"But I want the rest of you to know that whoever I don't pick, I still love." (INFJ) LOL, for me it's not this serious and frequent, but I still have some kind of "oh no I'm wronging these items for not using/taking them with me" sometimes. I got over most of it though.
Okay but like an EFNP I sometimes pack weeks before because I am so excited. I also them pack 5 extra outfits cause I find them cute and you never know what adventure will happen. Most of the time this is true though lol
I convinced my two friends (INFJ and an ISTP) to go on a random beach trip. We live 9 hours away from the beach, at 8 in the evening I told them to get in the van and that we were driving to Florida for the weekend. It took some convincing but they did it. I didn't pack anything, I took the clothes on my back. It rained the whole time we were down there. It was one of the coolest trips ever. -ENFP
I watched all your vids... So I'm thinking that some of the dialogue is actually what an INTJ or ENFP might be thinking while they are doing something. As an INTJ, I might say some of these things but usually it's in internal monologue as things go on around me.
Someguy8047 absolutely! We struggled about how to get accross all our internal monologue and decided in the end to just speak it out. We think it beats subtitles or you just having to guess :) -Kelsey
Shadow Kat678 [WHISPERING] She (Alex) is you. She's an ENFP. and I think if you check the "preparing for bed" videos, you will see Miss Alex has many stuffed animals which she says good night. ...one of them is a Koala bear :D (Running Gag)
to me the INTJ looks more like an ISTJ with introverted sensing, because of all the structureness of daily life, whereas in my eyes INTJs are more into a bigger scale, for example how politics affect us and how are structured, how the world is organized and what they have to do in order to achieve something, imagine that suitcase as a world and INTJ organizing it, they don't really care about small things, I asked a few INTJs on the internet and most of them have messy rooms. I think that might be misleading how INTJ really behaves, and it can be discrediting towards ISTJs who are good in organizing things exactly like that.
***** thanks for your input :) I can assure you that I am an INTJ, after taking the test a number of times. My N and S are closer but definitely fall onto the N side. I think what you are seeing is more of a product of how I was raised, by two sensing parents who valued organization, timeliness, cleanliness etc. Or even living in a world that is a majority sensing. I truly see that as a good thing though, it balances out my otherwise big picture N. When I am facing problems, large group discussions etc you can truly see the N shine through. I am the one who is constantly telling people to forgo details and think of the big picture. Alyx and I talk a lot about politics and there effect, religion and our greater world. Just yesterday we were dreaming up a better way to do college in this country via a testing system. A perfect example Just last week I was managing a large kitchen cooking for almost 200 people. It is easy for me to picture the end result, give people tasks and just let them go. I really do not care how the onions are cut as long as they end up in the soup. I think it is just harder to get this across in 3 minute clips. :) My goal is not to show how every single INTJ works but to show how I work as an INTJ, to the best of my ability! Again thanks for your input! :) -Kelsey
I can attest to this. When I am just alone, I only care for cleanliness insofar that it does not spread harmful bacteria/fecal matter, look super unaesthically unpleasing/foul, not food thrown everywhere, etc. However, if there's a few bottles of water here and there, I usually prefer to structure it onto at one time and clean it at once at the end of the week. Although when I was younger, I did make my bed and always stayed "neat" as to speak to appease my mother. You would never see me throw food all over the floor and bottles of shampoo over the floor, but you might see a pile of clothes here and there (not in the kitchen/living room, exclusively in my bedroom). I am more than capable of reordering my bedroom and cleaning it in a way that it looks neat and tidy when I think that it gets a little too dirty or "inefficient" in terms of a navigating or unhealthy perspective So yes if there are more pressing matters, I neglect to care about cleaning my room to a great degree, but I will still do so periodically given the right circumstances. If I have a preference for cleanliness, it is first and foremost cognitive, and secondly aesthetics. On the contrary side, I probably would not go to a restaurant that is dirty since it deals with the public and needs more stringent standards in ensuring the health of its customers, whereas I only need to keep it minimally clean to the extent of nothing causing danger to myself. I probably don't really care about making my bed or any ritual that is trivial, from just my own perspective of me and myself. If I needed to appease someone else like a sensing guest, I would make up my bed, and yes I still see is aesthetically superior in a hotel but nevertheless not something that I dilly dally on.
AstralLuminary As INTJ, how I would pack would be either one of two ways. the first is that I would classify a list of items I needed and bring all the bare essentials of each category. If the trip is more dangerous or urgent or has more hazards, I would take more contingent items, like sunscreen, a first rescue kit, etc. But you would never see me with 3 suitcases of clothes unless I was going somewhere for a considerably long period of time. And for the most part I could finish packing in 20 minutes or less.
Thank you for your output, It's easy to mistype INTJ with an ISTJ, especially with tests provided on the web - tests are bad, you guys just perfectly described how ISTJs behave with their Si, both types are highly intelectual, the most I think difference between them is indeed the way they are structured and intense, ISTJ is more organized and prepared in terms of daily life, they use shopping lists, they have a schedule, they predict future based on the past experiences or experiences of others, and are highly intelectual, yes they are (sensory types are intelligent..) they also read books and study, the indicator of inteliigence is in my opinion introverted thinking Ti, the Ni or Si is just a way of gathering and using information, I think the most intelligent type is INTP with their Ti and Ne, it's just incredible how their brain works, ISTPs are also very incredible with their Ti combined with Se. So I'd ask what makes you think that you're an Ni and not Si.
***** I have had the privilege of taking the non online test as well :) As to why I know I am an Ni (: -I genuinely enjoy doing new things. I am usually one of the first to jump and trying new restaurants or going new places on vacation -I spend a lot of time thinking about the future, attending to what could happen. -I enjoy data and interpreting it, looking between the lines and seeing what to make of it. I am not a fan of clear and concise details and will usually question them. -My memories usually do not involve a lot of detail. they are very big picture and focused on why the memory is even important, such as why it fits in the pattern. -I am constantly just trusting my inner feelings about things. -At work I am not at all organized as I am with more personal things. I am constantly trusting my gut and just putting things together. At home, especially with perceivers I quickly take the reigns and organize things (again I think this is outside influence). -Oh and I really do not get along with sensors (seriously we clash). I am constantly annoyed as to why they are so stuck on details. Why certain things matter etc. Also I do not doubt at all the intelligence of any type honestly. Alyx is much more intelligent than I am. She has a photographic memory, she can go into tests not having studied and aces them. :) My best friend is an INFP and she gives me a hard run for my money as well!
Omg this is so good!!! I once had a heart to heart talk with my bed when I was getting a new bed to let it know that I appreciated the sleep it provided me but it was a toxic relationship because it gave me back pain.

packing in the last 15 minutes, yep, always! great video!
that ENFP is even more organized than I am:-)
I am so INTJ packer, but as a ENFP I can alway relate to Alyx
Me too!
This is the realist thing - ENFP
Lmao I just throw a bunch of things I think I'll need the day of the trip. i usually end up forgetting a bunch of items or over packing because of the (unlikely) possible outcomes.
Why is the ENFP so organized, im not lol

Love your videos and as an ENFP I can totally relate. Keep up the videos! I really enjoy watching them :)
haha, great as always!
Lol at the towel comment "Oh they'll have those at the hotel!" That's something i would think too.I might still bring something just in case though.
Did you guys film my husband and I from twenty years ago packing hahahaha? INFJ he is but I bring out his T ;).
Lol so funny. I honestly don't bring stuffed animals on trips with me. Don't want to leave them on accident. Wkwkwk true... We always bring useless clothes
I'm an intj and yeah, this is spot on.
Yeah!! Intj the more organized and well in advance one!
You know you may have over packed when you have to sit on your suitcase to close it. 👍
I love that san domiano cross!!!!

I wish I could do that but I have to think about the price of food and lodging. And at that point it ruins the spontaneity of the whole thing. :C
omg.. talking to my stuffed animals before a trip.. oh god what the heck..
I watched all your vids... So I'm thinking that some of the dialogue is actually what an INTJ or ENFP might be thinking while they are doing something. As an INTJ, I might say some of these things but usually it's in internal monologue as things go on around me.

Does baby powder actually work to get sand off feet?
I hate that feeling of sand stuck to your feet.
You from sunny Colorado ENFP-girl?
You guys did a wonderful job btw!!
It depends on what we convert our energy into but I love it hehe;-P
I have that exact bottle of melatonin sitting right next to me??? Weird
[RAISED EYEBROW]
Cookie dough... then again there is activated charcoal
Yeah...I'd so be that person with cookie dough.

Hehe it's me 🤣🤣🤣
