I wash my scalp everyday too cause I've got an oily scalp. Though daily washing will keep my scalp clean and healthy but it'll dry out the hair and make it really rough so I gotta make sure that my hair stays hydrated by locking in the moisture everytime it's wet with the use of oils and sometimes creams.

This comment makes me happy! So many people try to put my hair into a category “wavy” “curly” “almost Afro” “not even curly “ but the truth is my hair is just it’s own thing . And yes I have curls and waves on the same head, coarse and medium… soft, too soft sometimes
I was just asking my mother about this, my hair gets waxy and will not stay straight when it gets longer than a 3-4 inches. Right now it’s the longest it’s ever been and it’s so frustrating not knowing what my hair type is and having to knock it all down since I’m not sure what to do with it.

Blow drying your hair from fully wet to dry can be damaging because of the amount of heat needed, but I didn't know about sealing the cuticle! giving my hair a lil blow out to get it smother helps my hair care so much until the next wash, and I like using oils, but only 2 or 3 days after I've washed my hair, as I feel it helps to keep it looking fresh and retain moisture, since my hair is so damaged from bleaching it, creams only get absorbed but the oil helps me manage it better, thanks for the tips!
