It’s Bravo’s finest Test inning and one of the great ones anywhere. Ground England out of the game with sheer ‘bloody mindedness’ (to quote Geoffrey Boycott). He was never quite the same after this gem.

Whoa, given WI propensity to collapse in the last, well, couple of decades, I wouldn't have given them a chance on this pitch against English seamers, but they have done an amazing job surviving and taking a lead, 150 runs lead would be match winning IMO.

It was not a century but I consider Bravo's inning as one of the most important in West Indies cricket history. On a 'result pitch' he literally wore England into the ground mentally and physically maintaining West Indian match momentum and setting up the next day's success.

It is proved now that England is good at home conditions only like Bangladesh or afganistan for that matter , otherwise a very ordinary team.

Dont include Afghanistan it's new team and not played much how can you judge them with only 1 or 2 test match really no cricket sense. But in limited over they improved a lot achievement beat wi in t20 world cup 2016 only team in that cup to do this, qualify for world cup 2019 and has best spin line up include rashid Khan,mujeeb, nabi, etc.

Secondly as far as cricket is concerned here we are talking about test match not odi or t20 for that matter and don't give argument that since 2016 they are playing well.
My dear friend cricket originated in England, and others started playing after long time. But the fact is that they have not won a single ODI world cup yet.
Why won't I be questioning England when everyone questioned Indian team when they toured England, inspite of brilliant fight shown by them.
Our bowling side took all the wickets in England where as England have failed even against windies which is a very young side.
My captain virat did exceptionally well in England and I don't even want to compare root with him because that will be insult to virat as of now.

When English media blamed indian team or other subcontinent team for their performance in England then it is my responsibility to retaliate the same thing.
If windies which I believe ranks 8 or 7 on icc test ranking can beat England in home conditions then why can't England, which they did against India so nothing great about England.

I'm very puzzled by the poor home support during this match so far. The WI were 1 UP in the series at the time and in a decent position and yet the size of the crowd was disappointing. I've heard theories about enthusiasm for Test cricket waning in preference for the T20 format and US sports like basketball. I guess there could be some truth there.
West Indian people work throughout the day and if you are aware, the WI is made up of several countries. Also not everyone love Test cricket, it takes too long amd persons want to get on with their daily lives. Hence, you would find home support will look small on the ground but giving these factors you would be suprised how many persons from around the West Indies who genuinely want to be there but cannot make it due to work or because its not playing in their country.

Well played Windies.......tough luck for English players seems throughout this series.........but they should focus more........ they need to play large innings........which could delay the result in this match and create an interesting situation in this test match........I think people who are saying England home track bully are wrong.......because they have won in SA and Sri which are tough teams to beat at their home........so at present England only seems under-pressure .....but they should only need to keep their nerves hold on and go for long innings.........again.....credit to Windies extra-ordinary efforts in this series.........they are truly unpredictable and in-consistent like us(Pakistani team)🇵🇰.......love to both teams❤❤..........let make the test cricket great again👍❤.......very good pitch for test cricket👍.......
I think England aren't serious abt test cricket performance especially in overseas conditions. They just came to tour for playing n dominating white ball cricket so that they can prepare for world cup. They play red ball cricket just for show off.
The test series which England won in sl n sa was just because of poor leadership group by south Africa then and corrupted management by the board in sl or else England could only be satisfied by drawing or losing the series.
In fact this wi too has been showing tremendous improvement in test matches from a few years under Holder.
I feel England literally deserved for what they have been doing all these years

Its sad to see pretty less local crowd despite of their team doing so well lately !!
Because they have been disappointing recently as well. Not many people had high hopes against England. As a West Indies fan I can tell you, it's hard to really put the effort into go watch them. This has been like 4 generations of players that have been failing and yet every once and awhile we get Limited overs title that make you think there is hope, then embarrassing defeats in Test Series.
Every run that WI make in this innings will matter on a pitch which will turn on day 4 & 5. This may be a close game , and much depends on the ability of the pace quartet to get the early wickets and apply pressure on the English 2nd innings.
With due respect to other batsman but Best batsman of westindies bats at no. 8 for them.
