Windies Claim Famous Series Win | Windies vs England 2nd Test Day 3 2019 - Highlights

  • Windies are celebrating a famous series win after beating England by 10 wickets in the second Test in Antigua.
Our partnerships with international broadcasters limit us to showing 2 minute and 45 minute highlights. We know this isn't ideal, especially for the 2 minute version when 10 wickets have fallen in a day. That's why we provide the full 45 minutes too on this channel. We'll have different formats in 2020, but unfortunately not for 2019.
Caribbean Highlights brought to you by Suzuki
This is the official channel for the West Indies cricket team, providing all the latest highlights, interviews and features to keep you up to date with all things Windies.

This is an unbelievable moment. Nobody gave the Windies a chance, dismissing them as average blokes who are not fit to play tests. England was supposed to be a dominant team. Oh how the tables were turned. Test cricket had a brilliant 2018 and 2019 has already started with a bang. Long live test cricket!

"Going to the Caribbean is a warm up series for the Ashes this summer." The Brits coudn't be more wrong. Our team had other ideas as demonstrated by a series-clinching win in the 2nd Test. Good for all of the fellows. We have thoroughly outplayed them in all aspects of the game including captaincy. Hoping for another victory against this beleagured English team in St. Lucia next week. Hoping too that this series will mark the beginning of a much-needed and long-overdue WI revival. Congrats WI, keep going forward.

Jason Holder definitely needs to be lauded for leading a team which had even their own board not supporting them till Jimmy Adams arrived as director. Add to that their pay dispute, absence of key/senior players, lack of identifying talent camps at junior level to an extent. Despite all these backlogs, has lead the test and Odi teams with an assured calmness for the past 3-4 yrs in a lion hearted manner. Hope the show continues as they challenge all top teams consistently. Btw, India start their ICC test championship campaign against Windies in WI later this year Shud be a good series.

I believe the Antiguan Government should award Geoffrey Boycott a knighthood for services to WI cricket. His comments in the British media writing off the WI as "average no-hopers" in the run-up to this series surely helped to inspire the team to a historic win. I'll be honest and admit that I thought deep down that England would win - but I dared to hope! As Boycott has no hope of a Knighthood through the Queen, I do hope he finally gets this honour :)

Congratulations West Indies !!! Convincingly outplaying England. Won with the skill, temperament, in all 3 departments and what to say about their captain Jason Holder- leading from the front! Many had doubted his abilities, but he has shown what a character he is. This team has shown they have got talent and executed it. Need to build on from this. Great for West Indies! Great for Test Cricket !!!
