Tough to win at altitude, i'd definitely be sending over half the playing squad a week early to adjust to low oxygen environment.
Boks did that the other year in New Zealand and it seems like a useful strategy.

Its what they call a down load week using periodization principles. Intensity and physical activity decreases. It will increase as the week goes on - so that excitement levels are elevated and they are jumping out of their skins come match day.

At first, I was wondering, why are they dressed so casual where some guys are wearing number ones and others white ts or in mufti. But then I realised, they were grouped in teams prior to their session.

Boks practiced the whole week against Ireland prior to the 2nd test. All Blacks not so stupid to make the same mistake. Boks were tired even before the game started. All Blacks gonna take revenge for 2024 Rugby WC rugby final loss.
