Something about putting a orange and the 5ball on his dresser and when the girl he was with could tell the difference it was time to get rid of her, I think its in gradys book lol
Great video of 2 legends, but the table they were shooting on was about as level as a ski slope... whole damn table had a roll to the lower right corner pocket and Louis wound up getting screwed over by the table on a few occasions during the match.
@@meatalman1962 I believe he won it in 79, came close but don't think he won it twice, David Howard won it twice, back when there was 28 to 32 players in it, Thank you for the video, I love the 80s stuff, Only Louie match I've ever seen, He was great, died way too young, the police never investigated it either, Supposedly he committed suicide, but most believe he was murdered
louie was still the best 9 ball player of all time.
What are joy to hear the voice of my dear friend Jimmy commentating. I miss the Hippie.
Jimmy reid.. ever hear the orange and 5ball story?
@@meatalman1962 Can't say that I have. Jimmy never told me that one

Gone but not forgot St Louie Louie
WHAT TABLE ARE THEY playing on?
I like what Liscotti said about Luther Wimpy Lassiter RIP
Louie as a pro back then i know few people who would smoke him
Wow both had many, misses, scratches and only 1 break & run in 8 games. Definitely not Louie’s day.
@tomburns890 probably not the right cocktail mixture I've read stories where he didn't miss for hours
@@meatalman1962 my thought too. Or maybe a combo of a bad day and that alcohol needle was low. I’m guilty of the same at times. Ha
