Lake Texoma Summer Time Thumping Techniques with Panoptix View

Summer time is a great time to catch fish on explosive top water action and vertical jigging with big slabs. I am not able to get to Texoma early enough to catch the top water bite and really don't like to run all over the lake looking for schools, so I catch live bait and use my thumper to try to bring the fish to me. I typically look for ledges, drop offs and humps that the fish are running along and set up there and use my thumper to bring them in. Sometimes they pass through quickly, sometimes they linger, but one thing is for sure, when they hit your shad and take off, its hard to miss!
In this video, I tried to show some Panoptix footage of what was happening when the fish were biting and what the schools looked like when they were moving through. I also tried to give some pointers about hook sizes and changing bait frequently...
