What I liked about the special mostly is that Chris Rock isn't typically known for talking about really serious, cultural issues. Except for when Obama ran and he got overtly political, his jokes have stuck mostly to race and gender dynamics. This special put him in the conversation with George Carlin, Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor, and until then, I always saw him as very good and very funny, but one tier below those guys in terms of actual significance. Ricky Gervais I would have put higher, because he deals with a lot of cultural, social and political issues and speaks truth to power. Until recently, Rock wasn't that type of comedian. The joke was everything. If there was any commentary, it was an afterthought. Here, the satire is everything and I'm glad he did this.

Chris Rock, the same way you are using your years of obsession and jealousy and anger and bitterness and envy of the Smiths by trying to destroy their lives and careers and destiny, remember God is the same one who can take YOU down off your high arrogant comedic pedestal and leave you with absolutely nothing! Chris Rock, don't mess with people's God-given destiny, because God will start messing with yours along with the Devil!! Yes, all your targeting of women, especially black women will come back to you as bad karma. You're jealous of your ex-wife because she makes just as much money as you, you said. God will continue to bless your ex-wife even more, so she can make more money than you. And so it shall be. Amen.
