If they don’t play this at my funeral… I’m not going !!!
This is without question the greatest track Hawkwind ever created , simply genius.

*Love Dave Brock’s voice, rhythm (distorted) electric guitar, song writing skills, riffs ❤*
This track embraced me in my youth. And at 60 I'm still loving it.
I’m with you, man. Bought the album at 14 or 15 and at 60 I still have it and it’s still my favorite HW lp!
Tell me about it! We may be 60 odd, but still not as old as Dave Brock!
Feels like only yesterday I heard this for the first time yet it was 54 years ago!!!! Did I fall asleep??!!😂😂❤
Dave Brock's song he used to play busking before Hawkwind was even a band ! Thank you Captain !
Happy solstice everyone ❤
Haven't heard this for over 40 years when my cassette tape snapped, while working on my Norton. Gem of a song.
Dominator?Commando?
I don't know why i always get emotional when i hear this song. I love it.
Rip Nik Turner. Another legend goes
Yep, on my funeral play list. No one will know who the fuck it is.
such a trippy hypnotic vibe on this song but it's also got a great urgent feeling at the same time - classic track from Hawkwind.
Dave brock never seems to age.
That's because he's always looked like an old man,so now he is an old man he looks just like he did in 1971..Angela Lansbury also perfected this trick😊
The clip isn't from 1970, It's just the original track played over a mixture of live shots of Hawkwind playing the song years later at gigs.. Love this song regardless, Have everything Hawkwind have ever recorded.
Correct. This is not footage of Dave Brock circa 1970. It looks more late 80s era.
First time hearing this....... great song x
Welcome aboard

Wow amazing bollocks love HAWKWIND 😃
Yea fantastic tripping or pissed it's a absolute classic harmomica or what!!!!!!
Early 90s was walking along the street mall in Sydney's Bondi Junction. A busker was doin this song with his guitar & harmonica. So stoked to hear it I slipped him a ten'er... he gave me a joint...

The Dick Taylor production realy makes this shine 🔆
Hi Paul, the same Dick Taylor that played guitar in the Pretty Things?
@@marcfedak ..It is he indeed .
@@PAULLONDEN thanks for clarifying that. One of my favourite mid-late 60s UK psychedelic songs is one he sings on, "Baron Samedi" by the Pretty Things.
@@marcfedak Yeah , one of the best tracks from S.F.Sorrow. It was 30 years later I learned that was related to voodoo practices on the former French colony of Haiti ,which was (is) a hellhole of corruption ;where the once brutal dictator "Papa Doc" used to dress like "Baron Samedi".
Still play live Hawkind when polishing the zed . Ha fecking funtimes when we were free eh .feck art dance 👌👌
Taking Me back☮️♥️

Fantastic
Con esta gran banda conocí el gran rock espacial magnificos
This seems to be remastered because I can hear the incidental/single note guitar parts much better on this version, which I really like.
Cool as eff!❤
Great track. Not convinced by the recent video. Dave Brock has looked that old since the 90s at least.
Excellent video; great song.
Should be a Taste or Voiceprint/Gonzo multimedia DVD... RIP Judge Trev, Huw, Mick Farren, Lemmy, Bob Calvert... Purple pyramid krautrock Show...
Duh... Nik Turner RIP.... Duncan Sanderson
Rob Myers ! Isn't this excellent ? Love it !
Excellent Song. Great video too.
What a sad place the world wouldah been for a Space Cadet 1st Class growing up in an Edinburgh Scheme without Hawkwind and Hashish!
"it may bring war!"
My dad rescued a stack of records pitched due to water damage. Among them Eloi: Floating and Hawkwind: Hall of the Mountain Grill. Thank you dad 1913-2008.
My feelings 🙏❤
Simon King on drums in this clip, he didn't join Hawkwind until '72, Terry Ollis is the drummer on this record.
cheers for that
Thats not Simon King, thats Richard Chadwick there currentr drummer
@@MrBrianzero Chadwick may be in the film clip, but it's Terry Ollis on drums on the actual 1970 release, which is playing here..
Yes i know.
Clearly NOT 1970 as Richard Chadwick is on drums in these clips and Dave Brock looked a lot younger in 1970 😂
Omg I love this ✌️
