This was my first exposure to Jinkx Monsoon. This character was SO GOOD!!! Good enough for me to look up who played the character and landing me on this video. I’m an instant fan, can’t wait to se more from Jinkx
If Drag Race is something you might be interested is, Jinkx is a stand out in both of her seasons! (Season 5 and All Stars 7)
I'm not sure how I felt about the episode and writing overall but I can definitely jinx definitely nailed the part! The insanity was perfectly illustrated! And you can definitely see the inspiration from missy.

I was vibbing hard during the 60th but got annoyed when the script went out of their way to remind us every 5-15minutes that Rose is trans.
Jynx stole every every scene they were in which insane considering how good 15 and Ruby are.
I legit had a "aww, its over?" Moment when they defeated the Maestro.
Why was jinkx called daddy or ruby called the Tardis an It? RTD is a walking contradiction trying to please everyone but I guarantee if he keeps this up he will lose everyone by the end of his run.

I think the episode let Jinkx and the other actors down. Jinkx did a great job with an over-the-top performance, but the script didn't balance the character with a properly dark tone, making the character more campy than sinister. Maestro is basically a force of nature personified, one that encompasses creativity and daring, so the portrayal makes perfect sense. I wish the writing had done justice to the character.
Have you talked about THE MASTER. In "The Giggle" THE TOYMAKER leaves a tooth behind ( The tooth in which he trapped THE MASTER ) and the tooth was picked up by a woman, maybe MAESTRO... and one of the original creators Sydney Cecil Newman was offered a job with Disney, all so long ago, so talk about coming full circle....

Maestro may be...IS EASILY my favorite Doctor Who villain in a long time. From the second they were first on the screen I knew this was going to be masterpiece of a performance and it was better than anything I could have imagined.

I just saw the episode and had no idea Jinx was it but when Jinx appeared I gasped and was soooo happy to see Jinx and then as the episode went on all I could think was Maestro is incredible...this was not Jinx this was Maestro. There are some performers when you see them in a part and know the part is them so natural and Maestro is over the top but also so layered....what a great joy to see such artistry. I am so glad I did not know but knew it was Jinx right away and see the journey Jinx has made ...has been making is breathtaking and love seeing others shine! Jinx did what needed to be done. PeriodT.

I think it's a solid bet we'll see Maestro return, probably sooner than later. I feel like towards the end of this season, Maestro and perhaps other children of The Toymaker will be making a unified return to take on The Doctor + Ruby. And then somehow that'll lead Ruby to some answers about her origin.

In the episode "Heaven Sent", the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) used his own body's energy to power a machine that created a copy of himself. So technically, any Who after that episode is not Doctor Who, because The Doctor died to power that machine, using up all of his regeneration energy. To sum up, Classic Who died with that episode, and therefore the blonde chick, the Tennant woke clone, and Shooty Gutwrench are NOT THE DOCTOR. We classic Who fans can just enjoy our classic episodes, knowing that the woke garbage coming out now is NOT Doctor Who, it is just woke trash that we can ignore, and no one of any value will be watching anyway. Quad Erat Demonstrandum.
