Thanks for clarifying the protruding bolt. Up until now thought it was a design 'flaw' but the demo showed how it was a safety feature. Ordered the aluminium version which is about $90 AUD cheaper than the carbon fibre version.
Up until this day I try to unscrew that out but don't have the right tools. However, I never use the ballhead because I use a smaller one. This is my most used tripod and I customized it so it's easy to bring on travels. Mid column removed and ballhead from the Aoka Tripod. I don't use the ballhead because I use plates that are too thin to fit on it, if you are wondering why. Good luck with your tripod!
I was like: nobody can sell me and make a good eview in 10 minutes... well, congrats man, amazing review. As a tip or suggestion as im more a deep man review, you could add some extra shoots of leg locks, show the little parts etc Anyways chapeau
Wauw, I don't know what to say. But certainly thank you for the feedback, the tips, I'm not good or anything but with your feedback I get better. Just fyi, still my favorite tripod. The only thing you sometimes might need to do is tighten the leg tops with the provided allen keys. But this is easy my beloved tripod. Am still looking for a smaller solution but impossible to find for me also with this weight. Thank you again and all the best!🙏

Hi, thank you for the review! do you know if the ball head can be changed for a quick release one where you can just snap the camera back on and off instead of screwing it back?
Can understand that, however you can exchange it it’s a nr5. If I’m correct. The good thing about it is it prevents stuff from Falling however I exchanged it for a flat one took one minute and is perfect now 😊. Good luck

Hi there, you can change the ball head to any one you like. But don’t know what you mean with screwing on and off.
