Justin is a genius. I remember him saying he didn't wanna add a library for various codec support to Reaper because it would add 500kb to the installer size of Reaper, so he basically wrote all of the functions from scratch. Trust me, in a world where mobile apps are massive, games are 100s GBs and RGB app of your mouse are 100s MBs and no one cares about performance and optimization to the max, no other developer would've done the same.

I've been watching all of the Theme Adjuster videos coming out, and yours is the one that makes sense, and makes it easier to make thematic changes. I was initially concerned about the 38 minute length, but it's not too much. Thank you for helping us mere mortals understand this complex piece of software! This one will consume my day, I think.
This is absolutely insane, now we only need vector based UI then we'd have perfectly sharp looking UI, and it can be at any scale and the theme makers wouldn't have to worry about making their themes for various layouts etc.

I belive if they make the UI vector based, not only it will look better at any resolution monitor, it would possible to customize the theme even more without fearing any kind of pixelation or other limitations raster based images have. Yeah, there are parts of Reaper that still has fonts that are not anti aliased, atleast on Windows and I hope they are gonna fix those soon.

That's cool! Very cool! But on the Track Control tab, the balancing method "Stretch Name " does not work stably if there is a grouping of tracks. In one project, you set up the location of the buttons, in another project the balance is lost and other buttons appear. You have to change "Label Length" every time for any projects. And it does not depend on the length of the track name - I tried to change it. Thanks! 👍
Thank you for this magnificent explanation and detailed video. But, I see that it is no longer possible to place the level meter on the left when a track is armed, is it?
hi, kenny! thanks for another amazing video! one thing that's not clear to me: when i pick a custom color palette from the theme adjuster, is there a way to make sure every new track i create will follow that palette? or do i always have to use the recolor tool?

the color palettes are unfortunately only part of that window. but you can use those colors to set your system custom/favorite colors. Quite a few users have been asking for actions for better access to this

I have an Icon platform m+ controller which has two lines in the display, but because Reaper displays one line, the controller mirrors that, and it would be great if I could change this. I have downloaded Neptune vi theme it's looking cool, however I don't like the colour of the arrangement window , and the back ground of the names of track, how do i change it in reaper 7.19?, thanks
Bro please help me everytime that i try to render or export a vocal or any audio with AutoTune or Waves tune or any other pitch correction plugin the audio waveform is rendered out of sync, it's a really little delay that you can only see if you zoom in the waveform and check the beginning and end of the phrases. My project setting and rendering settings are the same 48khz the plugin delay compensation (PDC) is OK. I have no problems rendering audio even with extremely high latency plugins like acoustica and Ozone turned on, the audio comes out precisely the same down to every single sample point. BUT if i put only Autotune or any other pitch correction VST the waveform get out of sync by a few (ms) that's enough to mess up a group of vocals or instruments. I turned on Low latency on the plugins, Waves tune is zero latency, I reduced my buffer length to the minimum and nothing solves the problem. I have reaper 7.

It's not possible in the REAPER 7 theme. No. Only in the REAPER 6 theme.
