I still can't think of a reason for me to left-drag, but knowing how to do the single use version of razor edit is wonderful. Thank you!
I can right click the marquee tool and drag for a selection but it does not hold the selection? All lock settings are off? The razor tool works just fine.

I use a trackpad with my mac and while it's not hard to right drag with two fingers, left dragging is a lot easier.
Try to include many new ideas in piano roll in midi editing in upcoming mature updates of Reaper......Reaper is a good audio workstation ❤️
