Beautiful😊thankyou for sharing always grateful
Nothing stops a good old mack well cared for 😊
Beautiful classic truck jack awesome restoration job thank you for letting us see it
Another beautiful rig, I've been anxiously awaiting this since the preview was first posted. Well worth the wait. 😊
Thanks! Another Western will premier August 10th, and that owner does an excellent job telling the story, too!
@@MissFlatbedRed Looking forward to it!
My Dad owned a 1974 Mack F700 with V8 mack engine and 5 speed granny. It had the green interior. It had so much torque it kept breaking the cab mounts. Love those old Mack trucks.
Love this video very genuine
This new recording format is working great wonders, between this and Charlie’s Kenworth yesterday, I’m convinced this is the only way forward 💪
Another great one😊
This is a beautiful truck!! I love all Macks.
In the 80's I owned a 73 F-model. It was an original 325 v8. I bought from my dad. I put a factory rebuilt 300 in it, got rid of the 5 speed and put a 10 over drive in it. Truck was black with the sun visor, dual snorkel intakes and 5" straight pipes. No power steering , i ran the old truck from Virginia to NY city 3 times a week pulling flat bed. Trucking was a blast back then. Your truck looks great and it brings back a lot of memories. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.
I am not Jack, I carry out the interviews and make the videos. There are about 400 and counting like this. Subscribe if you don’t already for more memories :)
Thank you for bringing these trucks ,drivers ,owners and their stories into the light so we can all enjoy them. I'm a subscriber.
We love you!!! Jack!
WOW...what an awesome truck!...a real heavy, duty,beauty
Your best video yet ! I knew Dale I sold him the last engine that I believe he put in that truck around 2008 or 2009 he was still working it then . Sure glad you got together with Jack to do this video. Like he said this truck is literally a Detroit area Gravel hauling legend! Glad that Jack is doing a great job at keeping the old girl up and getting it out to a few shows . Great video!
Thank you! This new way I’m doing videos is opening up a whole new world. They’re longer now, and the owners seem more comfortable even though I figured clipping a mic on them would have the opposite effect!
Been a while since i made a comment but lovely truck and cool owner, great interview and review thanks. I like the old macks too. I grew up as av young child with a huge poster of a Mack superliner logging truck on my bedroom wall so that always planted a seed for my interest in Macks. I drove a few R models in my 20s and enjoyed driving them, had so much low down torque and the turbo spool and engine always had their unique note 🎵. The 12 speed mack box was pretty well suited to them too and also had it's own specific whine 🎵. Cool memories. 👍
Glad to hear that I'm not the only mack nut around! When I look for a truck, the only decision to make is what color the mack will be!
Cool Mack! We needed to hear the V-8 run just a little.
Can only do so much in the middle of a show.
My grandpa started hauling milk in1948 and when he went from gas to Deisel he ran Mack’s. He told me he had a naturally aspirated Deisel and he put a turbo on it and it cut 45 minutes on loading the route. He owned f models, rd’s, r, super liners, cruise liners, ch, and visions.
My uncle has a super nice vision. I run international 9900ix, and Kenworths with cats.
My 11 year old son just got his milk samplers license and he is the fourth generation milk hauler in our family.
I tip my hat to this fellow MACK fan. That's a very good looking dog from generations ago. I agree with the owner in donating it to the MACK historic society. This one is a true classic being an all MACK speced ride. Thank you Miss for the tour.
That old F700 Western looks like a real brute….Michigan Specials are singular tractors to begin with, but a V8 cabover F700 Michigan Special is truly exceptional. Thanks for the tour!
Hello Miss Flatbed Red 👋🏻 Very beautiful MACK ! Thank you for sharing this great video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice classic f model
3.5 million miles! Wow, I'd say that old F-model bulldog has earned her retirement. Thanks for showcasing this truck! It's a beautiful old Mack.
It was the norm back in the day when manufacturers took pride and built them in the USA using made in the USA parts....
My father had a 78 F model and man did the inside of that bring back memories ❤ I can't believe that cab isn't rotted out being a Michigan truck. Absolutely gorgeous truck...
Did you hear the part where he said there have been 3 or 4 on it?
@@MissFlatbedRed I heard miles.
My dad drove for MATLACK in the sixties, seventies and eighties,He drove a F model with the 385 V8 and a duplex. I remember him going around a corner and putting his arm through the steering wheel and grabbing both sticks to shift! Also there were 2 of his buddies that drove for Matlack and where both around 250 lbs apiece and teamed in an F-model for 5 years. That’s when men were men!!
Beautiful
Nice tractor.
I owned a '74, 320 coolpower and 10 speed direct drive, also painted black, carrying general freight between Sydney, Canberra and Albury Australia in the mid '80's. A great truck.
Nice, old Mack F700. The ones I saw back in the 70's did not look as fancy as this one.
Up close and personal with Red. Luxky
Love Mack trucks. The older the better. My uncle always drove Mack's. I used to go on runs with him. This Mack is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! I have playlists of each manufacturer, so you may enjoy the Mack one :)
A Beautiful truck i love Cabovers
Looking very good
I grew up along a state highway in mid-Michigan. I spent my youth watching trucks go by, many many gravel trains. This included all brands of cabovers. Pete, KW, GM, Freightliner, Mack, etc. They all had big engines (for the time), flotation fronts, and heavy axles. Great memories.
Beautiful Mack
That’s a sweet looking truck. I drove a 66F model Mack with a 673 engine with a duplex transmission. A friend of mine had the exact same truck, they were both red, but has had a V-8 Mac Thermadyne engine, and it ran circles around mine. But nowadays, it was a lot of fun.
In those days
I LOVE the F-series MACK trucks! 😎🔥🤟🏾😆
Great pinstriping
Michigan takes that game to a whole new level!
great story
Nice old mack
Love That Mac. That is a Real Nice Truck. Cabovers Are The Best.
🔥🔥🔥
That’s a cool old truck with a great back story
I love it , no more Michigan special anymore 😢 just trucks now days. I love how a women loves trucks and ur beautiful ❤
First F model i have seen in years bringd back memories for sure , i remember Hayes trucks used those cabs to,that Mack sure is nice
There’s one Hayes cabover on my channel, another one where the owner told his story fabulously ruclips.net/video/oD8YS3l8Sk0/видео.html
we can feel the smell of the greasy chassis and the legendary classic interiors 😍
Bulldog Pride!
Mack F models in Europe 70s had full gauge panels
I drove all kind of cabovers and the best riding one I was ever in was a Mack Superliner, and grab this? It was a single axle and still rode the best.
Dad had a 68 cabover mack Armstrong steering 237 5sp good old truck pulled a lowboy an a dump trailer
I do believe I spotted the truck a few times in Flint....I was gonna ask what color it was....I remember going from Chicago to Flint to visit dads army buddy...dad and I spotted this truck and we made mom turn into the truck stop...my dad was a railway man and I was too but we were both mack fans, my dad owned 3 at one time.
My dream truck is an F model Mack with a 12v71 Detroit screaming
WOW!! The "Western" was a Cadilac.
👍👍
Que hermoso mack yo de jo en los maneje duro però asi mismo fuertes y duraderos felicitaciones
Driver I love ❤️ old trucks
When I ever drove a Mack I wished I was driving something else
Whenever I read a comment like this I wish I was reading something else.
That interior would look really nice if you just clean the panels I know you wanna leave it original but at least clean the inside a little nice truck other than that
Did I hear that right, he said he's 26😂. I'm assuming that was a joke.
Plenty of young people have old trucks.
Those headlights don’t look OEM
Every F model I’ve seen or driven had the single headlights
Still nice looking though
After 3.5 mil miles I would think the truck has earned some customising
---------------------- no air ride .....but more importantly , air conditioning....thx
