Oh hey there little bean, watcha doing all the way down here?
“If you don’t like it, please don’t tell me, because I don’t want it to be ruined” so precious and wholesome
Seriously though, no one tell me 👁👄👁
Haha
Honestly… I love it!!
honestly the frog prompt was my fav one. I love all the different music you chose for each piece!
I feel the same way about turquoise fr
this was perfect company while I packed orders
an angel has blessed my comment section
I love hearing people discuss their art and art process. It’s nice to see even better to know more about each piece. I am the person at art museums that has to read every plaque and piece of info.
ty in advance for forgiving me for the yelling in the beginning. ily. congrats on making it thru peachtober! hope u like seeing insight into my process, thoughts and me speak about my work. ur all gr8. lemme know if u have any peachtober q's for the next video q&A
My goodness you exclaiming “we did it!!!” and clapping was the best and most wholesome start of the day I needed after such a tiring month 🥺💛
Oh my goodness that made me jump out of my skin 🤣 wide awake now!!!
Hi Sha'an! what are your favorite art materials right now? would love to know your fav colored pencils😊
That was such a mood tho 😂
You absolutely terrified me, but your joy was so infectious I couldn't be mad!
Whenever I get a bout of anxiety or start to feel overwhelmed, I like to put on videos from my favorite RUclips artists, (I can't tell you how many times I watched the video where you painted the camping print!!). So thank you :)
This has gotten me so excited for next year's Peachtober (if you're doing it). Your artworks are so rich, and just what I imagine my "art" could look like if I just start and stop being a scaredy cat to even try. Brilliant! Also, the music for each piece is delicious.
It was my third year trying art-for-whole-october type of challenge, and first year i participated in peachtober - and also first year i completed all 31 days :} i wasn't posting my art anywhere, just showed few drawing to two friends, but i'm very pleased anyway. Really nice promptlist, I had so much fun and i'm really proud of myself. Thank you a lot! ^^
the way you speak with passion and creativity about your pieces totally got me
This peachtober you went OFF 🔥 like best peachtober, love the textures, love the exploration. This just gets me MOREEE excited to see more future work from you 💛🧡💛🧡💛
We did it! Huge effort :D Best peachtober yet!
Heheh!!! ILY Ben! Let's catchup soon! I'm double V'd!
I can’t be the only one that has memorized the squarespace intro and ‘sing-a-long’ at the start of every video
All together now! "Thank you to..."
this is an old vid but I really appreciate the high energy ending with a quiet voice and the retro-game-like music at the end. it's calming, especially when I'm not a very back to back high energy person, and I try to watch your videos at night
You made such incredible pieces - and SO much work went into them! I don't know how you did it on top of making reels, showing process, running the Peachtober IG, client work, this video, and oh yeah... learning a new medium! Like... HOWWWW. Just incredible. You should definitely feel so proud whilst your snuggling up with Tonka this month. BRAVO and thanks for hosting such a fun, whirlwind of a month.
34:17 I like that. “These things are just lodged i there.” Cute. ☺️💕
Number 18: the colors!!! When you were putting down the blue-green for her hair, Jesus. That's it. *Chef's kiss* that's what gouache is good for, so opaque and creamy.
From art school, aim to have gouache be the consistency of melted ice cream. Then you get the opacity AND fluidity. 😉
You definitely have a knack for ink and watercolour “bleeding” blending technique as you put it. I love watching all your past even current process of this method sooo effortless and maybe because it felt like a drought since your last vlog, I was especially smitten all over again watching this video. So satisfying. Also your colour combinations, such a complimentary mix. Yes even turquoise 😋 I’m more of an inky-moody-deep-indigo blue kinda gal but also adore the occasional vibrant cobalt as so do you, but I do appreciate a subtle injection of turquoise. It really only satisfies when it’s used as a subtle highlight note especially contrasting against a dominant splash of grenadine orange-red ! So satisfying! Love aallll your prompts especially from 20 onwards! Above all, I love your textured layers in pencil. Wait! I lied… 6, 7, 11, and 18 really hit a soft spot too! That childlike wonder but those textures! 💯💯💯
What coloured pencils do you use? I know you’ve shared this before in the past but can’t recall which video you posted about it or if it’s prisma or what-not.. I have prismas (erase) but hated the waxy consistency. Yours is so crumbly like pastel crayons! Gah! So satisfying watching the zoomed in shots of the pencils crumbling like chalk as you draw. They are so pigmented! The colours pop! I switched to Caran D’Ache but still am not achieving the same amount of pigmented consistency as I see with your pencils. Please and thank you… X
I will watch this AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAINNN
I just love the thought that you included the little rocket in the bottle in your treasure piece because of rocket 🚀
I literally cant pick a favourite. I love how your style has evolved and idk, each process and their end results made me smile.
Treehouse is adorable!
My day gets so much brighter when I see a new video from you! Your paintings were wonderful, each and every one of them. My favorite was Gold. I just loved all of the little fossils and bones in the earth. Thank you so much for sharing your art! You are truly gifted.
i can't even choose one of my favorites, they are all awesome for me! ✨💛💯 i'm really speechless everytime from one to another
Hand prompt by far and that delicious color combo!!
sha'an this year's peachtober was amazing! i wish i could've participated but uni has been kicking my butt. hopefully next year though. anyway i just wanted you to know that you're such an inspiration and my art really has improved since i've started following you. thank you so much for sharing your work with us!
Loved this format with the little explanations ! Loved the long video too ahah, it is my favourite peachtober from you, each piece is breathtaking !
This was my first year where I go past the first two days!! I went in with the intention to be gentle and only do what I felt able to do, and ended up doing much more than I thought I could! Will be finishing in November cuz I got sick, but up till then I had so much fun!!
My partner finds inspiration and joy in the work you produce. She's so amazing, but doesn't always see her value, which can be sad. It's awesome that she finds inspiration in your work, and her face lights up every time she receives a mention. Keep doing what you do and inspire those around you. Love from Africa
i love your videos. the painting, the music, composition, the way you talk and explain... great work.
Loved this!! Gorgeous work as usual! Bird is my favorite!!
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely video of all your Peachtober! I appreciate it so much, it's so nice and chilled out and love seeing the beautiful cute work. Hope you get some rest 😂💕
i fall in love of your illustrations, they have something really magic, i really love itttt ♥
Watching your artistic genius evolve over all these years on RUclips and beyond has been so amazing! Congrats on this accomplishment! So much amazing art=)
"When I got to sporting events I'm excited about the snack truck." That struck me funny for some reason, possibly because I relate. I also appreciate the explanation of the difference between gouache and acrylic gouache (acryligouache). Very helpful. Thanks.
My favourite is the appleade stall, I love how you did the bottles 😍
wow, almost an hour long video what a treat! i love hearing your thoughts on the process of your pieces! congrats on making it through!!
I'm watching this as I finish off my final Peachtober piece, I feel like throughout this month I've been able to experiment and develop a style I like to draw which is a big deal for me as I don't feel like I've had one before.
I loved the prompts however I hold a grudge that you picked two sounds, I was so stuck for Thunder, I went with a Thor idea in the end.
Next year I want to make sure I do sketches and ideas, instead of panicking each day with time running out and rushing. I feel you can tell which ones I rushed to finish.
Looking forwards to the next art challenge.
Omg nice to see you again. Miss you. I enjoy your vlogs and your work.
hi i don’t use instagram as often anymore so it’s really nice to see this! ty
Your pieces really amazed me every day, but I'm so happy I got to see you talk about Rise and Fall because I found them absolutely mesmerizing. Incredible month! Thank you for inspiring me to try new colors and subjects than I normally would have used
I’m so glad you brought back the whales, I haven’t stopped thinking about that bedspread from the good ol tumblr days 🐋 🐋🐋
I just want to thank you so much for being so detailed and sharing your process for each an every peachtober prompt. You are inspirational and a motivation to upcoming and current artists and illustrators! You are so open and honest and I am sure every one of your viewers appreciate that.
I love getting to see all of the behind the scenes and hearing your thought process! It actually adds so much more to the piece when you kind of know the back story! You mentioned selling art prints, but are you going to make a zine of all of them too? Thank you for doing this every year!
Ahh this was so much fun to be a part of! It was mentally a very hard month due to a lockdown and working in nz but having this exercise to distract me each day was pure bliss! I learned so much too as a beginner artist, this was so helpful! Tysm for creating this space for us and for putting so much heart and soul into your work! You're such a gem 🧡🧡🧡
I rewatch the video of inspection let me say you are insanely creative person thank you to sharing this with us
I'm blown away with how you can create such incredible artwork at such a quick rate! I literally went, "Wow!" to like ... at least half. While I only made it to Day 6 myself, as a beginner art creator, I loved following along all month! Thanks for all you do!
Just three minutes in and I have to comment on your hair. It’s fabulous 🥰🥰
That hatched effect, just elevates your art, that much more!
It’s such an amazing privilege to see your process and your thoughts behind each piece. I enjoyed this video a lot!
i love your fun intro!!!! the challenge is so epic! I missed out as just found your video today, but excited for any future one!
I watched the entire video without skipping that means I loved it
I loved seeing your posts throughout the month! I didn't even think about doing any artober thing this year, but I think i'd have loved to follow your promptlist. Gouache always looks amazing, I'm trying to learn it aswell, I bought the himi miya palette and i love to use it, when i get better i wanna try acrylic gouache also!
I think my favorite pieces were the ones for rise and fall, I love the whole concept around them! But this whole video was amazing! I really like the concept and loved to hear the thought process behind the pieces :)
For the beetle I thought of City of Ember movie, definitely recommend
I love the way you edited this video ! And it was so cool to have a glimpse inside what is happening inside your head and into your universe !!
Wow! Wow! Wow! This is my 2nd Peachtober and I’ve come out of it wanting to challenge and change my developing style. Your amazingly generous sharing of your process has made me feel so positive and creative at the thought of change, rather than disheartened. Brilliant, and thank you 🙏
thank you for putting in so much work to these prompts and paintings and for sharing your process in such a beautiful and accessible way. as always, i really enjoyed seeing your recap- i really can never peel my eyes away from your videos. these works make me so happy, especially GOLD! seeing the wide range of characters so happy and doing their thing gives me life- 💛
The energy in that intro was through the ROOF!
I loved the music you used. Especially for submarine :)
I Love this song too! Any Idea what it's called?
omg I am so in love with your work and your process! I love your usage of colored pencils on tip of the paint to add texture! I was also wondering if you could provide the list of materials you used? I'd love to know what type of watercolor you use and colored pencils because they are so bright and opaque on top of the gouache! thank you Sha'an! ❤️
Watching this while chilling home alone with pizza 🍕 such perfection also your colours choices always speak to me especially your greens oranges blues and yellows also gouche is hard but along watercolours its probably my favorite mediums
ugh the genius of your work is just incredible!
OMG every painting is just so cute, the Colors are perfect, and every little detail is right at its place. this is so nice and soothing. Love it very munch 💛
sha’an, i LOVED hearing the backstory of each piece!! and absolutely worship the layers in all of your work. my favorite explanation was Gold bc of the reinforced hope it echoes of the “little things” and favorite piece was Harvest because the concept and your gradients are so interesting (and I’ve been watching cowboy bebop hehe).
also, I don’t mean this in a negative way to anyone but I think simpler pieces could be liked best because simplicity can be more “universal”, and (at least in social media spaces) is a quicker, more familiar read. not sure if this is the same vein, but I thought of that often after I noticed that some influencers wash out their photos with higher brightness or exposure to lessen the contrast or saturation in the image and, typically, in their overall feed.
These all brought such bright cheer to each October day. I liked so many of these, but thunder is probably my favorite. Thanks for sharing your process-it made each painting feel even more like a little story.
Thanks for sharing your process with us. That is so much work. Again this year I had planned to clear my calendar and follow the prompts but life had other plans. Next year! I loved all the work, the submarine was great because it was so dramatic and the last one of Tonka was lovely too! I did catch a glimpse of a train go by, that was exciting!
Beetle is my favourite!
I’m in graduate school rn to be an art teacher so I’ve been super busy but I squeezed out a few pieces and I really vibe with what you said about the time crunch pushing you through things you’d usually scrap. I made some of my favorite art from this year during peachtober and it was all because of the challenge. Thanks for the awesome video! This was really nice.
You have such a wonderful imagination! It honestly so inspiring and heart warming 💜
These are all wonderful!! Soooooo cute! P.s. your hair looks beautiful!!
Absolute genius! This channel maintains my child-like wonder.
I joined Peachtober for the first time this year! I was so, so, soooo happy when you messaged me to feature my piece from the first prompt on Peachtober's account! Unfortunately I didn't get to continue ( I did a few more prompts) due to being busy with life + having a depressive few weeks and not feeling very motivated. But it was still fun- I'm hoping to just refer to the 2021 prompts I didn't get to do and challenge myself to draw more when I'm ready x Thank you Sha'an for showing what you did for the prompts! So inspiring ❤️
This is insane omfg, peach is one of the most productive people I’ve ever watched
Also i had no idea acrylic gouache even existed omg I NEED IT
You are incredible!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for doing this and posting this. You are truly and inspiration.
It was so off topic but I dearly loved the haircut talk 😆
all the creative work you did this past month is incredible, ily take care and have a good rest
Thank you for this video and this serie of drawing gorgeous. Your art make joy so it’s précious ! (Mathilde from France)
ahh you are such a great artist!
You are such a hard worker! You put so much thought in every piece. That’s amazing and very inspiring! It was a great pleasure to participate in peachtober for the first time ever. Looking forward to more! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the magical painting process with us. Have a wonderful november!

I lovee love all the colours and textures you used in this year’s peachtober!! I loved seeing the different pieces and it was fun to hear your commentary on each piece in this video :) Thank you for all that you do, create, and share with us all!! 💖💖💖
very impressive overall, they easily could look like pages from storybooks! your experiences are really showing in these paintings!
I've been following you for years and it's so amazing to see you grow and evolve. And this peachtober - seriously? EVERY. SINGLE. PAINTING. Is a masterpiece. And so is your hair!
Also hoping that the worldwide-shipping-problem-thing will be sorted out for next store drop, I need some of these on my wall 🥰
Yay! I finished my inktober too! I also made videos every day on here so I know your struggle! But yay to us!!
I love your new look! I didn’t participate this year, I love hearing about your process this year and how you kept yourself motivated throughout. My fave painting is the grumpy marshmallow. I love his little backstory and possible criminal background.
absolutely love every piece you made this month and hearing your creative process for them is a delight! would buy a peachtober 2021 zine or art book in a heartbeat.
i love your peachtober works! (and your new hair looks amazing!)
I was too mentally and physically exhausted to do any prompts this year. But i loved seeig all the drawings people were posting. Good job everybody!

Hi! I would absolutely love to see your Molly Goddard sketches and test illustrations, she's my favorite fashion designer!! And by extension, it'd be cool to see any fabric / fashion tests you've done. Love you and your work!
