- First Concert of the "Alive 35" World Tour @ The Albert Park (Melbourne - Australia) after the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Opening song of the Concert was "Deuce"- 16 March 2008
This is totally awesome!! I have been a fan since 1979 when I was 7 years old, bought every album, and seen KISS around 30 times live..I love them forever!! This is killer stuff..
just saw them last night in Greenville, SC. drove 3 hours just so my little bro could experience a KISS concert live!!! THEY STILL KICK ASS!!!!!! i still can't sleep!!!
Last Night they where in Switzerland. I was there and it was the most luckiest Day in my hole Life!!! IT was the BEST Show I`ve ever saw!!
its amazing to hear that after all these years from 66 to 08 even today, that pauls voice is still powerful and holds an army of its own it really just blows my mind! now tommy and eric they arent original but they sure as hell make up for peter and ace.
I honestly have nothing but respect for these guys. To be able to completely rock the house in their 50's the same way they were able to when they were in their 20's truly is a sight to see. To me they fall into the same category as bands like Motorhead, AC/DC, and Iron Maiden for still being able to kick ass and transcend time!
When Paul said Melbourne has opened up their arms and legs to them....all the guys in the crowd cheered too!!!....I think thats great!...Times have changed and people are so much more honest now!!! I love it!!!
one of the VERY few bands that can still sing today in my opinion
This video is AWESOME! I'm going to see KISS live next month, can't wait to rock and roll all nite!
it doesn't matter who is better than who. Kiss is Kiss and they are doing what they love to do.
I've been a KISS fan since its inception. I love you KISS! Thank you for all of the great memories. You guys will always rule in my book! Yeah BABY! The Hottest Band in the World KIIIIISSSSS!!!
I find it kind of weird that they started the concert during the day when it's still light out. It's not something they normally do, usually it starts around 8 so that they can dim the lights so it's pitch black, and then they blind everyone when they come out. The Sequence of Awesomeness.
awesome video have been a kiss fan for 9 years and finally them at download festival donnington uk at last
wow.. 35.. bringing the glam back at the stage..
and still got the moves..
one of the best!
That was the hottest day of my life, we were front row in front of Thayer.
Bought $120 worth of drinks before they even came on.
Was amazing!
I was there and have seen them lots. This was a great show.
KISS!! Excellant! Thanks for posting this. Great vid!
i love the sound of the explosion at the beginning.. it sounds like one of those things you through on the floor and pops! pech!
They've just played here in São Paulo, Brazil..After 36 years, They're still the best band in the world
First time I saw Kiss Live. Fantastic show!
How come all you guys in Australia get video cameras in so easy!? And so close to the stage? We really have to "sneak 'em" here in the U.S.
Thanks for posting!! Of course KISS rules, always has, always will. Nothing but the best!!!
KISS changed my life!!! How many other bands have fans like me?! Don't EVER stop guys!!!
these guys are so awesome and still rockin in 2008!!!
I was in Paris Bercy to last night and they comes on stage from the top of the scene ! Huge Concert, they are GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREA GRE GR G .......
i was there! it about a few metres to the left of who ever was filming this, man it was so stinking hot, i had heatstroke the next few days from waiting out so long i couldnt go to school haha no regrets its was UN-forgetable!!
I just saw them tonight in Kansas City. Just as AWESOME!!! They ROCK!!!!
such performance may not satisfy old die hearted fans at all, however they are still able to convince other people after seeing this live for the first time today. they are still amazing, no matter what.
i saw them at ottawa this year it was awsome kiss is always awsome
saw them live on holy thursday in sydney
twas an awesome show.
kiss have one of the best stage shows in the world...history maybe?
iunno
but they have the best that i have witnessed...twice
I will see them in Paris in 2 days !!! what a great moment it will be !!
Wow the Opening ALWAYS gives me goose bumps O.o
they have many good songs and they keep switching them round for each tour (a 2 hour show isnt enough to play them all).
they play songs like deuce, love gun etc. over and over again because they're the most popular- the fans at the concert want to hear them.
dude i was there like right next to the person who filmed this. Great band live, they kicked major ass at this show. ILY Paul :)
Paul is not leaving the band. Their new CD with all new songs will be released in August/September with a huge tour to follow.
Best gigs ive ever been to have been KISS gigs!!! \m/
Eric "The Fox" Carr. Awesomeness. Came into the band and had his own identity. His own look, his own style. He EARNED his place in the KISS family.
I know this comment is 12 years old but that’s Eric Singer. Eric Carr died in 1991
@@brandonnetwork Yes. I know.
kiss rules no matter what you say
you are just JELOUS
kiss RULES FOREVER!!
I'm going to the Alive 35 Kiss concert on Monday. It's gonna be HUGE!!!! I can't wait!
:D
My FAVORITE cover band ever
i was at this concert!!!!!!!!!!!!! was an awesome opening =D
This is one of those times when i get to post "i was right fucken there!! front row!!" I could almost have a convo with the boys and when that curtain dropped it was on!
This was just awesome in paris 2 hours ago ! :D
We All Bow to Kiss...
The Hottest Band In The World
DAMN that has to be THE MOST energetic performance of "Deuce" I've seen in a LOOONG time. Not bad for a couple of 55-60-year olds (I don't count Tommy and Eric). :)
I was there too-THET STILL GOT IT!!!!!
35 glorious years of REAL ROCK AND ROLL. And I should know...I followed these guyz since the mid 70's....
when it wasnt cool to like KISS. But who getz the last laff anyway?
best line so far, congrats!
kiss en argentina 5 dee abril!!!!!!!!

Kiss rocks hardest outdoors during the daytime.
Forzaabruzzo, you have said it all!!! Thats the thrue and nothin but the thrue. All of them are gods into the Rock'n Roll Olympus
and after that they were in Quebec City and I saw that show. I am now a member of the army.
I saw the Canadian KISS kickoff at Sarnia Bayfest 2009 Vids by spongspongspong And they are almost Identical -and yet the KISS machine gets stronger...Most excellent
hell yeah another KISS tour
best video!! Congratulations!!
great grea great. i just have to see 1 kiss show before i die.
They still bring it! No doubt about that!
This is nothing like Kiss '78, now THAT was Kiss
By the shame, but thats a real circusband, I´ve been Kissfan since 1978! Thats the real KISS!
a every good song and a very good band and a very good sound
KISS was AWESOME at the united center in chicago. Only live band that could riff stairway to heaven and mix "the who" into their own music. Old or not they are talented
I agree with canadiensfan4evr (even though I'm a bruins fan) The opening always gives me goosebumps too. I guess KISS can bring anyone together, even bruins fans and candiens fans!
that was a good night dude!!!
You´re so right!
I was at this show and it was a fkn scorcher 40 degrees, imagine how they felt
woah an outdoor kiss show in daylight!! rare
Now wait a minute there.Eric was a wonderful drummer and singer, and we will all miss him,but don't put peter down he is great too as well.I have always loved him and ace since i was a child and i'm glad to see him back with them again. He has always done his best and was good at it as well and that's all that counts. So don't say that about him, because i think he is awesome!!!!!!..ROCK ON FRIEND!and God bless!
Hey guys i just think kiss are giving what us fans want...it maybe the same stuff 30 years ago but WE love it and that's why we go a watch...we WANT this classic stuff. Two new guys..who cares it's the music and show what counts!
You are right on with that comment!
i'm going to the birmingham alabama concert october 24 can't wait.
Awesome! Gene, Paul ,Eric and Tommy rocks 110%!
i love this song
Fletch ... the concert started about 7.30ish at night. It gets real dark real quick here in Oz. Most of the concert was in dark conditions. I was near where the person who did this vid was. Crowd was put at around 80,000 - 100,000. It was filmed for TV and a DVD called Kissteria due out later in year. Cost of ticket was $50 Aust (about 110 pounds) but, that was only if you had a Grand Prix ticket .. 180 pounds. It was cheap for a whole day of action I guess. Go and see them when they come visit.
I saw a band called "KISS Army" at a local bar and I can honestly say, I saw the the Demon, the Starchild, The Cat and the Space man live.
It doesn't matter that it's not Gene, Paul, Ace, or Peter.... it's still the Demon, the Starchild, The Cat and the Spaceman. Just as long as it's someone in a costume and makeup.... yep that's all I care about.
Only cost me $8 too.
You know, I like Eric & Tommy in the band. Peter & Ace did it too themselves, they could still be a part of KISS had they kept their priorities in check. KISS forever!!!!
Melbourne has opened their arms and legs to KISS.
A true KISS fan likes all incarnations of KISS and doesnt bitch over stealing someone elses makeup
in one interview, paul stanley mentioned that there could be a time in which the band won't have any of the original four members, because he says "kiss" is a way of thinking, a philosophy, rather than the actual band members themselves.
"kiss" could eventually become a brand, marketed and sold, with musicians hired to play the roles of the star child, demon, space man, and cat man. you may not like this, but im just saying how things could end up based on what gene and paul have said.
KISS really needs a new stage. They've been using that stage since 2000.
Amaaaaazing!!!
wow this is great show i was there
I will go see them (Bilbao or Download Festival in London) because I have not done so since 1999, but I am more interested in seeing Ace play London in April than I am in seing this high class tribute band!
Gonna see them in Belgium this weekend!!!
Well its all good ace and his solo show is amazing as for kiss yet to see them.
Bobby thats old school rock and roll!!!!!!!
I think it's a shame that Peter and Ace aren't in the band anymore. I've been a fan since I was a kid. I got my first KISS album in 1977. I was 8 or 9 at the time. I have a 9 year-old son now, and I'm just glad that KISS is on tour again. I can't wait for him to get to see them. So, I guess the moral of the story is, yeah, it sucks that Peter and Ace aren't playing but Tommy and Eric sure rock, and I'd rather have there be a KISS with Tommy and Eric, than no KISS!!
I got tickets to the show in London, ON : )
this is cooclt they are the legend
Yeah!I was there!
thus commenced the 5 years and counting of non stop touring with the same show
I could'nt agree more!
yeah they did its part of the alive 35 setlist
Can't wait o see them here in The Netherlands
Imagine that, opening up with Deuce for the millionth time. And closing with RnRAN for the 2 millionth time. Who would have guessed?
Great footage! It's kind of weird to see KISS perform while it's still daylight. I've only seen them once during the daytime. Their show doesn't seem as bombastic in the light of day.
Great concert
Oh shurrup and enjoy it! This is as close to Kiss as you're gonna get so live with it!!!
...have lost Peter and Ace on two seperate occasions during the 35 year-old rollercoaster ride that is KISS!
Many THANKS to Gene & Paul for keeping the dream alive. Would you rather they had called it quits back in '79 when Criss The Cat did?
The Beatles are probably the only group that called it quits legitimatley and only they know the truth of that publicity driven contrversy.
No Deep Purple, Stones, Ozzy, Skynyrd, etc. if they had decided to quit after losing one or more key members...
super.... love the Stanley/Simmons/Thayer/Singer line-up...
I agree, who wants to see Singer and Thayer in there? I want Peter and Ace!
Can't wait To See Them In Newcastle On May The 2nd Next Yeah, WOOOOOOOOOO!
Kiss
Por Siempre!!
LARGA VIDAL AL METAL!!!
