      Due to battery position... Compared to RAV4 which has a Space Saver, the RAV4 battery is under the rear seats, and Honda's is in the spare tyre area. Lexus NX & RX(hybrids) have run flats

    It’s now late March 2024 and I have not seen even one new CRV on the road, parked, in a car park etc. I’ve seen a few new HRV and ZRVs . They are desperate to sell them, offering all sorts of incentives. Is it the fact that they’re not Japanese built( built in Thailand) contributing to this, I’m not sure.They’re very successful outside Australia.The reviews are all favourable. If Honda don’t sell many of these, particularly the hybrid, they won’t survive in Australia any longer perhaps.

    • @potatopack
      @potatopack 7 месяцев назад +1

      yes i am noticing this too and concerened also. I really want this crv and build quality is not matter as we have china that make volvo and india make volvo and ford rangers are made in thailand too most pick up 4x4 ute/trucks made in thailand also like the hilux. SO thailand knows how to build. I reckon the CR-v is the most stylish suv on the market apart from the Volvos

    • @DaniilBalkans-jh2rw
      @DaniilBalkans-jh2rw Год назад +1

      CVT is rubbish, there is no driving, reliability or financial advantage of a CVT transmission over a standard torque converter or dct, except for maybe saving $5 on fuel each tank, at a great expense of drive quality, power & CVT reliability & future replacement cost of CVT transmission?. Driven 1.5L turbos with CVT carrying passengers, up inclines or overtaking on freeways, & engine & CVT rev out & scream for power which is slow coming & totally absent in many acceleration manoeuvres?. At least the torque converter will kick down in the gears to find the required power, impossible to do for a CVT?. These are all modern 4 cylinder engines & fuel economy is virtually totally based on your driving alone?.

    I personally prefer Honda over Toyota, but Honda is way off on their pricing versus features in their vehicles. Let’s compare the CRV with the RAV4. I can buy a Toyota RAV4 XSE or Limited anywhere from $42,000-$44,000.. With that I get a level three technology package that includes a full panoramic sunroof, 360° camera, much larger infotainment center, wireless, Apple CarPlay, a digital rearview mirror, and better mpg!
    I thought Honda was just playing catch-up with the competition, so I waited and waited. And now we see the redesign of the Honda Accord. What were they thinking? That thing is just straight up ugly! Also, the first fully electric vehicle coming out, called the Honda prologue. But you didn’t know that they actually collaborated with Chevy to make that vehicle. Exact same base and construction as the new electrified equinox. No thanks!

    I’m a new owner of the Honda e:HEV. It is amazing! All the bell and whistles plus some you never heard of. My favorites are the heads up display, the right turn display on the screen, and the all around display with the touch of a button! The seats feel secure and are easily adjusted, though the position is synchronized with the driver’s key! Around town, it uses the electric motor, but the power of the gas engine gives instant feedback! I’ve been a CRV owner for years! Last one was 13 years when I traded! And as a senior citizen (87) I can recommend it, even to younger drivers!

    Honda continue to make interesting cars overseas; typically we get the trash models here. Where is the new Integra or the TLX? The CRV is still definitely a mid sized SUV. The Pilot or the Passport are the full sized SUVs and the Ridgeline utility are vehicles that Honda sell in the USA that for some reason only known to themselves they don't bring here.

    The reviewer is trying hard to find positives about this average SUV. Honda seem to have the " Take it or LEAVE it" approach with no option list and missing vital tech at these price points doesn't look good. Also $60000 for 140kw for a non premium brand is a joke. Nowadays, you can travel 10000km easy in 7-8 months. So that isnt impressive. Honda's problem is they are very inconsistent throughout the years.
