Because of the drive by wire throttle pedal, we recommend that when carrying out this procedure, you get assistance to control the RPM while administering the fluid. This can be done by a friend or colleague or you can buy a simple tool which clamps to the steering wheel and ratchets down on the pedal. Due to the engine running on unmetered air, It is important that the engine is running at between 2,000 - 2,500 rpm when you start. Thanks for your feedback on the seal.
I used to have issue with turbo underboost on my Ford Mondeo TDCi. Noisy turbo, light on dash, numb mode all sorted and power is back just after one treatment of Revive. Thank you, its brilliant product.
Hi Jonny. Yes, Revive can be used on vehicles fitted with a DPF. Revive is a water based surfactant and the two different molecules attach themselves to the carbon build up and scrape away layers into a microscopic powder and these particles are no bigger than the soot particles that the engine normally generates. This would then get burnt of through natural re-generation.
grooovy. what about the "wastegate" & cleaning that part of the turbo unit? this is also important. I used a "stiction remover" through my oil. I dropped two cans of LiquiMoly diesel purge through fuel tank as well. it seems there are many terribly vital, necessary things one can and must do. they can't do everything at the German garage... thnx reviver bloke
Hi, Yes. Revive is designed to remove carbon and can be used on both Petrol and Diesel engines. Revive is designed to work through the whole system from inlet to exhaust so it is effective all the way from throttle body to the back of the turbo.
Could you tell me how this product gets to the turbine vanes? Surely if it's sprayed into the air intake then it will be burnt in the combustion chamber before it reaches the turbine?
DLAerials Hi and thanks for your question. Revive is a very robust non-combustible fluid and because it's being applied at velocity through the combustion process in measured quantities at specific RPM's, it survives the combustion process and due to the degree of valve overlap, it reaches the hot side of the turbo. More details can be found on our website : www.reviveturbocleaner.com. Kind regards
Hydro Lock is not an issue if used correctly as instructed. The fine mist is similar to the volume of water you expect to see in water injection systems.
Hello MeBerserk. Because Revive is a water based surfactant, it scrapes away at the carbon in tiny particles, so the carbon will not break away in 'lumps' so there is no danger of anything bigger than soot particles passing through the combustion process.
Hi is this suitable for a Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 cdti? I don't actually have a problem with the cars turbo i am just concerned that i am doing a lot of mileage (104,000 at present) and want to avoid any problems by cleaning the turbo first.
Hello pabllo2004. Providing your issue is indeed down to a sticky variable vane turbo, then we are confident that Revive will clean the carbon build-up from it. Your vehicle has an electronic actuator rather than vacuum, so ensure that correct diagnosis has been carried out and once it has and you are happy that everything is as it should be, Revive it!
My 2005 Mk5 Golf Diesel 2.0 BKD has sticky vanes, sadly they seem to be stuck beyond the realms of Revive and I could only agitate the actuator minimally - Revive did not help in my instance. Pity that, it was and I still believe is worth a shot. The car does seem to run better in it's limp mode state and lots of crud came out of the exhaust - my next step will be turbo off I think.
+novaturbkkk We would strongly advise NOT to use Mr Muscle to clean a Variable Vane Turbo. Mr Muscle is a very aggressive caustic solvent which can cause hot edge erosion and can damage seals etc.. When applying Mr Muscle to a turbocharger in situ, you will not know what path it will take inside the turbo and when you leave it to 'soak' , the carbon will liquefy, which may temporarily free the vanes but will end up behind the unison rings or vane pins. The liquefied carbon will then harden due to the extreme temperatures, causing exactly the same problem but in a different place (unison or control rings). If an aggressive caustic carbon cleaner is to be used, it is essential that the turbo is removed and disassembled by a professional. Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner is for ovens.. not turbochargers.
I avoided the caustic route and we found a frayed wire from the ECU to the pressure boost sensor which fixed the issue. I will say however, the turbo seemed much healthier and I can only put that down to Revive. :-)
+novaturbkkk It's a water based non-ionic surfactant with active molecular ingredients. For commercial reasons, we do not publicise the specific ingredients, for reasons i'm sure you will understand.
Hi. This totally depends on how the vehicle is driven. If driven in city centres and the vehicle rarely gets to stretch its legs, carbon fouling will occur far quicker than a car constantly using boost on motorways, autobahns or freeways. A treatment of 750ml will cure the problem but we would advise the same treatment on every scheduled service interval as a preventative measure.
Hi, I have an 07 plate x type 2.0 d, and the problem is the diesel heater light comes on when driving and power drops (i assume this is limp home mode) if i switch off the engine and restart the light goes off and the car drives fine. would revive cure this? Car has done 200,000 miles
Hello Malt51. It is difficult to reply to your question without any diagnostic results. If you have a diagnostic scan carried out on your car and test all vacuum pipes and the electronic turbo actuator and once these have been tested and confirmed fully operational, you can then start to look at the variable vane mechanism. Revive will remove carbon deposits from the vanes if that is your problem.
You claim this product will clean the carbon build-up on the Turbo's Variable Vanes but how is this possible as its shown being injected into the turbo's input hose so will go through the combustion process before its ejected into the exhaust and then come into contact with the vanes, and by then it will have been burnt away.
Hello Jeanette. Revive is now sold in USA, Canada, Australia, France, Holland, Greece and other European countries because it is excellent at removing oily carbon deposits form an engine's air path. Revive's molecular composition is robust enough to survive the combustion process. More can be learnt by understanding the 4 Stroke Otto Cycle. We claim it removes carbon from the VGT because it does.. We cannot reveal the science behind Revive for commercial reasons, which i'm sure you can understand.
Hello... I have a Porsche 997 twin Turbo Can I use this product in my car? and Did you ship this product to Middle East? Dubai in particular? Thank you very much and appreciation.
Hi. Yes, Revive can be used in all 4 stroke, petrol and diesel engines including the Boxer engine in your 997. We do not yet have a distributor in Dubai but we can ship direct, so please send us an email to sales@spdiagnostics.com with your address and we will quote you upon receipt. Thanks for your enquiry.
I have just used this on my suzuki tl1000r. ..the amount of crud out of the exhaust is unreal...i have used two bottle..i think the stuff is amazing....
Matt matt Hi and thanks for your post. Good to hear you're happy with what Revive can do on 4 stroke motorcycles.Interesting you used 2 bottles, as you only needed to use one. It clearly worked but how did you work out the RPM to apply it at? For everyone reading this post, please be aware that Revive is NOT suitable for 2 Strokes.
I have a '97 Volvo 850 TDI, is there any risc in using this product with loose coming carbon? I assume there's a lot build up and such a product has not been used yet.
I wish I'd found this product before I sold My golf TDI. It was having issues with the turbo waste gate sticking open and ensuing engine codes. After shutting the engine off they would reset. I was wondering though if Revive would also work on injectors in the same car? What about the new gas powered golf tsi engines?
Revive is applied through the combustion process, so it would not go' through' the injectors. However, the Direct Injection Gasoline engines suffer from carbon fouling on the inlet valves, which Revive will help to reduce.
+Zayda Castillo We cannot reply to your question due to your privacy settings. Hopefully, you see our post. Yes, you can use Revive on your Mazda. It does depend on what the problem is before we can confirm it will work. If it is down to oily soot deposits, then Revive will definitely make a difference.
Can't wait to try this out on my car. I have a 01 audi a4 1.8t quattro gasoline with about 170k miles on motor and turbo, would this product be beneficial to my setup? Thanks!
+Chris Watson Hi Chris. Revive will clean any gasoline or diesel engine, (except 2 stroke) whether it's normally aspirated or turbocharged. So, although Gasoline engines burn so much cleaner than diesels, they still generate soot and carbon, so it will benefit from a Revive clean. If it has a specific problem, then we would recommend you consult a professional workshop.
A preventative is always preferable to a problem We recommend using Revive to avoid carbon build-up at service intervals, however, we as employees have all put it through our own vehicles despite having no issues with the turbo. Why wait for the problem to occur when you can avoid it? You will probably notice a difference even though you don't believe you have a problem.
I own a 02 Toyota 1800 Avensis. (90,000 miles) It's using oil weekly but there's NO oil leaks, seems to run very well and with no exesive smoke from the exhaust. I believe that the oil ring's on the pistons are glued up by engine deposits and is allowing engine pressure past the ring's and thus carrying engine oil into the combustion chamber. The engine sensor light is showing on the dash and the diagnostic kit say's the Engine emissions are incorrect and on it's last MOT only scraped through on the emissions test. Very impressed with your You Tube demonstration. Question. Do you think your Revive engine cleaning product will sort out my engines problem.
Hello Chris and thanks for contacting us. Well, we haven't carried out any testing on 'gummed' piston rings, so you would need to decide on whether to give Revive a try or not. However, Revive will clean everything else in the air path, so it is always beneficial to give an engine a Revive clean.
Thank's for your honest reply. On that note I'm going to give your product a try. It can't do any harm to my engine and who know's it might clear my gummed up ring's. before I have the multi expense of stripping down th engine. I'll let you know the out come for your files.
Can I use this in a 2016 VW GTI to prevent buildup? How many doses should I run through it? I found out buildup seems to be a neverending problem with some GTIs.
Hello Largol33t1 Thanks for your question. Yes Revive will help not just as a treatment but also as a preventative, I would use a starter kit to begin with and see how you get on with that, if all goes well you can use the service shots between regular maintenance to keep on top of the problem.
Hello! I have an Outlander 07 2.0 DI-D with sticky vanes in the Turbo. I would definately like to try your product. Is it sold in Norway, or can you send direct? Also my knowledge of engines are very little so if you could point out where to insert the fluid on my engine, that would be very helpful. Thanks Lars
Hi and thanks for your post. Yes you can, providing your engine is mechanically ok and does not show signs of wear. Please do not perform a Revive treatment if your engine is excessively using oil, has 'end float' wear in the turbo shaft.
+the1to9 Hi and thanks for your question. Because Revive is applied at velocity through the combustion process, the active ingredients in the water based carrier, remove the soot in tiny particles, which are no bigger than the soot particles that the engine naturally generates, so it is perfectly safe to use on vehicles fitted with a Cat or DPF. It will add to the soot loading on the DPF but this gets burnt off during it natural regeneration cycle. However, if there are any fault codes in the engine management system relating to Over-Boost or Under-Boost because of turbo issues, the ECU strategy will abort any attempt to regenerate the DPF until the turbo issue is fixed.
Johnny akroid and Martin tucky and now myself are asking the question can this be use on cars with dpf,s? Which u have failed too answer but you have answered all other questions? Please can you finally clear up this unanswered question thanks,, I'm quess ing it would hurt the dpf as it's main design is too clean/filter engine emissions so all that carbon removed and pouring out the back of the mondeo in the vid , so I'd have a cleaner turbo but a more clogged dpf? Correct me if I'm wrong. Many thanks 👍
mnl493x Here is the reply we made when asked on November 18th 2013. Please note, if you have problem with the turbo and the ECU has had stored DTC's regarding overboost, the ECU Strategy would not put the DPF into a regenerative state and would abort the attempt to regenerate.Once DTC's have been cleared, the DPF would then start to regenerate.. The particles removed by Revive are no bigger than the soot particles the engine naturally generates, so Revive is perfectly safe to use on vehicles fitted with DPF's. I use it on my VRS CRD DPF. Kind regards @user/spdiagnostics Nov 18, 2013 @user/martintuky the deposits that are removed during the cleaning process are the same as the ones that are produced during normal engine operation, these get trapped by the DPF in the same way and are handled by the vehicle regeneration process. So Revive does not harm the DPF. Reply ·
One more thing from below answers if my ecu does throw up some fault codes , I take it it's still fine too drive the car as there is no real fault? Probs dumb question but just checking Thanks
mnl493x Hi... It will depend on the strategy of the ECU. It may decide that the fault code is relevant enough to put it into 'default' or 'limp home mode', however, these cases are not the norm and this scenario rarely happens. We like to inform our customers of the possibilities.
Will it clean the intake valves of direct injection diesel engine? The engine in question is hyundai CRDI and i have carbon build up issue on intake valves
Sandeep Singh Hi Sandeep. Revive will help remove any sooty deposits in an engine's air path. Because fuel is injected into the combustion chamber on all direct injection petrol/ gasoline and diesel engines, there is no fuel 'backwash' on the inlet valves and this is the cause of the build-up. So the answer is yes and this applies to all direct injection engines, including your Hyundai. Refer to www.reviveturbocleaner.com for more info. Regards
my ford dealer told me that I had a blocked turbo and cleaned it out I am still getting smoke and we have tried everything else the car smokes when slowing at a junction when we move away it smokes so wonder if your product may help
Hi Euan. It is difficult for us to diagnose the fault without specific information, but Revive will always help, as it always good to clean the soot deposits away from the engine's air path. However, we only recommend a Revive clean on a mechanically sound engine.
Hi. The model of my car is Audi A6 C7 3.0l TDI 2012 The question is, if the revive cleaner fits to my car, the point if, if it's safe? (DPF, TURBO, INTERCOOLER) Thanks in advance.
Hi, yes the product is totally safe for your car, however we always recommend having your car properly diagnosed to make sure you are treating the correct problem.
martintuky the deposits that are removed during the cleaning process are the same as the ones that are produced during normal engine operation, these get trapped by the DPF in the same way and are handled by the vehicle regeneration process. So Revive does not harm the DPF.
Hi there, I have one issue with my car. Is going to limp mode. One of mechanic told me turbo is dead. Also I have oil inside of pipes who go to EGR . Can I try using revive ?
+Radu Morteanu Hi and apologies for the delay in our reply. If you have been informed that your Turbo needs replacing, you need to find out why. Is it due to mechanical wear? Cleaning it with Revive will expose mechanical wear and will make it worse. Revive should only be used on mechanicaslly sound engines. If your turbo has sticky vanes due to carbon and soot deposits, then Revive will help . Oil inside intake pipes could mean a number of things, llike a breather/seperator issue but without knowing what vehicle you have, we cannot diagnose the problem over the internet. Please seek further professional advice. Kind regards
Hi I was wondering if you can tag me in a post. I have a 2003 golf 4 tdi highline and I'm recently experiencing turbo problems.whenever I take the car past 120km/h the boost goes away and the car becomes sluggish. Only when I switch the car off then on again the boost comes back. Please I need advice as it also happens sometimes at 140km/h. I have taken the car to vw and they checked the turbo and N75 valve and everything is okay.Diagnostics picked up no faults as well. I need advice . Thanks
+Mohammed Zarif Khan Hi Mohammed. It does sound like the classic symptoms of sticky variable vanes in your turbo which www.reviveturbocleaner.com would sort out for you. However, you must still carry out some basic checks, such as vacuum leaks and check that the actuator diaphragm is holding vacuum too. Once you are happy that everything is in order, then please Revive Turbo Cleaner. Kind regards
Today an engine malfunction light came on the dash, RAC put it on the computer and it came up with a blocked dpf! They tried a regen three times but would budge the blockage. Do you think revive would work? Or have we passed the point of no return.
Hello and thanks for your interest in Revive Engine Cleaner. Revive is formulated to remove carbon from the air intake to the Turbo and is not designed to clean DPF's. There are now quite a few products on the market which will lower the soot loading in the DPF sufficiently for natural regeneration. Have a chat with your local garage, i'm sure they can offer you a sensible solution. However, it is now illegal to remove the DPF, so don't be tempted by that option.
I've bought revive but need some advice before I make an attempt: 1) you said to make it more effective I should use a vacuum pump kit to move the actuator. a) where I can buy one from? b) when should I use it during the process?
Hi Juman. It will depend on what type of actuator you have. Some turbo's are fitted with a vacuum operated actuator and some with an electronic actuator. Depending on access, you can manually move the actuator rod on the vacuum type after the 2nd phase, providing you have easy access to it. If you are not sure, we would recommend to seek professional advice from a qualified technician. (vacuum pump gauges are available from many online sources)
spdiagnostics Hi and thanks for the reply. My turbo is manual. Iv gone underneath the car last week and felt the actuator which was unbelievably stiff. I'm thinking of disconnecting the pump to the actuator and replacing it with a silicone tube and a syringe to imitate the same mechanism?
Hi Juman. If you are in the UK, please call us on 01225 744777 so we can offer advice in detail. If, not, if the actuator rod is stiff, you won't be able to agitate the mechanism with a syringe. If you can get access to it, I would remove the actuator rod from the diaphragm end and move it with your hand. If the mechanism is 'unbelievably stiff', please consider mechanical seizure through heat distortion.
Hi there, will this work to unstick the variable vane's on a VAG turbo on my Volvo XC90 D5 2.4 L 2004 reg diesel car. Everytime i put my foot down to overtake or speed up very quickly then after hitting 3,000 rev's the car goes into limp mode and my mechanic said it is the variable vane's sticking because of carbon build up and has quoted me around £750 to un stick them. Please help because my mechanic is a greedy little bastard.
Hello Khalil. Yes, Revive will help, providing that the problem has been diagfnosed accurately. To remove the turbo, strip it and put it back on, is not a cheap job, due to the labour invloved,so I would imagine, that £750 is the going rate, which is why Revive has proved successful as a cost effective 'no disassembly' alternative.
OK, thanks for letting me know that revive will help to de carbonise the turbo. I have just put some Archoil ar6400 d in my tank and will see if it sorts this problem out if not then I will try Revive. Thank's
Hi,Revive is available from Part-Stop Auto & Industrial Supplies in Spruce Grove Alberta. Tel : 780-962-0088. They have stock and can ship it to you. They are currently building their new website, so you will need to call. Regards
Vlade, our inventory is slated to arrive in house by Wednesday, April 2nd. If you wish to give us a call at 780-962-0088 and I will make sure that your order goes out immediately. Regards, John (Part-Stop)
vlade2512 Hey I am from Calgary too. Did you every get this stuff? Did it work? I have a Porsche 930 turbo with the same issue. Wondering if this will work on that? Where is this Part-stop Auto & Industrial Supply Ltd?
Sincere apologies for our very late reply. We had stopped receiving notification emails from youtube so we missed your post. Due to our late reply, we appreciate our answer isn't very helpful to you now. However, in these cases because the engine cannot run unmetered, you would need to disconnect the air inlet pipe and then replace it leaving a very small gap down the side , so the sprayer head can fit down the side. The engine will run ok if this is done.
Hello. I will try revive turbo cleaner on my Audi A3 2.0 TDI common rail engine . When I feel it lacks a little power . Could this damage my engine in any way ?
+krupp4000 Hi. As we discussed on our Facebook page...Make sure your turbo actuator isn't at fault by scanning the ECU for Faults. Also check your actuator diaphragm is holding vacuum. Once this has been done... then please use Revive to clean the engine and turbo. You can purchase it in Norway from www.reviveturbocleaner.no
Hello Marius. Yes, Revive is formulated to remove carbon build-up from variable vane turbochargers., There is no disassembly required and is administered through the air intake after the Mass Air Flow Sensor as illustrated in the video above. Regards.
spdiagnostics Thank you for the answer. At my bmw the air circuit is : MassAirflowSensor -> Turbo compressor -> hose to intercooler -> intercooler -> Hose to intake manifold. It's okay to spray through the turbo-intercooler-intake ? How will unblock vanes if revive is absorbed into engine ?
You would spray the fluid (in a fine mist as per video) into the intake impeller of the turbo (after the Mass Air Flow Sensor) The amount applied has been calculated to be effective at the VGT after the intercooler. Revive has to go through the combustion process to be effective. It is very important that the cleaning process is started with a cold engine.
Muizz Khan Hi , Revive will clean carbon deposits from the variable vanes inside the Turbocharger, which will cause a sticky actuator rod. It depends which vehicle model you have, as some use a vacuum operated actuator and others are electronic. If you disconnect the actuator rod at the actuator end, you can then manually move the rod to see how 'freely' the variable vane mechanism moves. If you are unsure, we would suggest you seek professional advice from a technician. Revive is excellent at cleaning sooty carbon deposits, it cannot repair faulty actuators. Kind regards
spdiagnostics Hi thanks for the reply the car is an Audi A4 s line se 170 pd engine, the turbo actuator is starting to stick, I've been running on v power diesel at the moment, it has helped abit. If I purchase this product do you think it will resolve the issue and if so where can I purchase this product from Thankyou.
Hi, If you are happy that the vane assembly is sticking then Revive could be the answer to your problem! Have a look on our website and click on the Purchase tab which lists our distributors in the UK and Internationally.
bacurda Hi and apologies for the delay in our reply, we have recently moved into larger premises and have not had internet until now. Please call us on +44 (0) 1225 744777 to discuss and we will able to point you in the direction of a distributor in your area.. reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/purchase Kind regards
Hi there, my father bought revive fuel system cleaner and he wants to apply to our new corolla GLI 2015. But here no one knows the proper procedure. Could you please help me how and where to apply it?
Ok thank you. Yes we have shipped our product to Dubai, but we think you have bought a diiferent product than ours, as we do not call ours a fuel system cleaner. If the product you bought is in a can which is black and red, it is not our product.
Hello Roddy and thanks for your question. Seafoam make several products, so it does depend on whether your question is Petrol/Gas or Diesel based. The closest comparison to Revive would be their Seafoam Spray, which is an intake cleaner and because it is flammable, the fluid is combusted by the time it is going out the exhaust valves and into the turbine. Although Revive will also clean the intake, we are targeting a specific issue on the variable geometry mechanism within the turbine side of the diesel turbocharger and because Revive is a non-ionic surfactant and is non-combustible, the ingredients in the fluid are still active after combustion. Although they are different products and are not a direct comparison, in summary, Seafoam is a flammable hazardous chemical based intake cleaner and Revive is a safe non hazardous chemical turbo cleaner which also clean the intake. Both Safety Data Sheets (SDS) can be found on the web through search engines.Hope this answers your question without being too biased :) Kind regards
Hello benjmiester. Revive removes carbon build-up from petrol and diesel engines, turbocharged or normally aspirated as is available in the States from Peract Systems LLC in California www.peractsystems.com Regards
Hi Guys, I have bought the product and I want to try it out on a ford galaxy 2002 model. I do not know much about cars at all. Do you guys happen to have a link or make a short video explaining to me how I find my inlet air pipe and mass air flow filter please. Thanks Mehdi
Hello Rads. Please refer to our website www.reviveturbocleaner.com or please call our technical team on +44(0)1225 701920 where we can offer asistance if you are unsure. Kind regards
Hey guys. I tried the cleaning process two days back. My car is still going into Limp mode. I will be trying the cleaning process once again, and the giving feedback.
Hi rads... Did the Revive treatment make any difference? If none at all.. then we would suggest another fault. If it did make a difference in performance but not perfect, then it is worth giving it a second treatment. Please consider an oil change after treating it twice. Regards
Is this suitable to use on a 13 litre scania engine with a variable vane turbo , and would i need to use a different ammount of fluid as i am seeing alot of them with sticking vanes
Paul Conroy Hi Paul and thanks for your enquiry. Yes, Revive is suitable for your Scania, although the treatment quantity is different and the treatment procedure is also different. Please email us at support@spdiagnostics.com and we will help with the RPM range required and the fluid quantities.
Hi and thanks for your question. We have not carried out any testing on injectors that are 'lacquered', so cannot comment on the effect that Revive would have.
Hello William. Well, P0234 is an overboost code, which can be caused by sticky vanes inside the variable vane mechanism of the turbocharger. If this restriction is due to soot deposits, then yes, Revive should be used. However, this code can also be generated by faulty vacuum pipes or faulty pressure boost solenoid/valve. Your vehicle is fitted with a Garrett GTB1646VM which has a diaphragm operated actuator, so please make sure this is also holding vacuum. Once you are happy that all is in order, then treat it with Revive.
Hi and thanks for your question. Yes, very popular for the Duramax. Our U.S & Canadian distributors have specific instructions for the Duramax engine, due to its low RPM range. You can downlowd these instructions from their websites, although the kit in the States includes them. Here are the website links for reference. www.revivemyengine.com/what-we-do/ (USA) www.reviveturbocleaner.ca/use/ (Canada) Kind regards
Hey.. I hav got a 53 reg vw bora normally in 3rd gear it would kick and move if i gave throttle but it doesn't seem to be doing it recently, i was wondering if the revive could sort the turbo out and i could feel the kick again?
Hi and thanks for your enquiry. We would recommend you seek professional advice and have your issue diagnosed. If the problem is due to sticky vanes in the turbo, which is caused by soot deposits, then Revive will definitely help!
Hi I have Passat B6 2.0 TFSI petrol can you tell what revs I should had on my engine when using revive. As in a movie or higher cause I have petrol engine and turbo starts about 3000 revs. Thanks.
MrKrzysztof79 Hi and thanks for your question. You apply Revive to your TFSI in the same way. The first 250ml at 2,200 rpm, then the 2nd at 1,800 rpm and the third at 2,000 rpm as per instructions. Although petrol engines burn cleaner than diesels, Direct Injection Petrol engines suffer from carbon build-up on the back of the inlet valves, due to no 'fuel backwash' and Revive will help to remove this.
Hi, it will work for my Hyundai Veloster GDI non Turbo 2014 model? And what is the best to do is it before change oil or after chance oil? Thanks Dan from Ireland
Hi and sincere apologies for our late reply. We stopped receiving youtube notifications and we have missed quite a few posts. Yes, Revive is suitable for your Veloster and yes, we would recommend to treat it before an oil change
+Biof Fabio através da entrada de ar a jusante do filtro de ar. Sim, vai passar pelo intercooler through the air intake after the air filter. Yes it will go through the intercooler. Kind regards. www.reviveturbocleaner.com
Hello Raymond. We do not yet have a distributor in the Philippines. We can ship it direct to you, so i f you can send us an enquiry email to reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php, we can then send you the costs
Hello Evan. Sincere apologies for our very late reply. We stopped receiving youtube notifications and we've missed quite a few posts. We appreciate our late answer is probably not useful to you now, but our answer was yes, Revive is suitable for your Triton.
Hello Adam. Not in the way you probably want it to. As Revive's molecular ingredients are made up of several surfactants, it will naturally attach itself to oily carbon deposits on the way through the combustion process. However, Revive is formulated and calculated to effective through the burn cycle and becomes highly effective when it reaches the cylinders and turbo. If your inlet manifold is clogged with 'coal', then it needs to be removed and cleaned with an aggressive solvent type cleaner. Regards
alex mclaughlin Hi Alex. Yes, Revive is suitable for your Mazda BT50. Revive can be used on all Diesel engines, with or without turbo. It can also be used on normally aspirated or turbocharged petrol/gasoline engines too, with the exception of two strokes and the Mazda Rotary. Here is a list of stocking distributors. reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/purchase Kind regards
Hi Michael. Yes, into the compressor/intake side of the turbo. It will not cause any problems with the impeller but please ensure you get a good atomised spray pattern.
Hello lennonpolo. Thanks for your enquiry. Revive Turbo and Engine Cleaner will remove carbon deposits from the engine and turbo, so unfortunately, Revive is not suitable for your requirement. However, there are other products on the market that will clean the cat and offer a solution to your problem. Kind regards
Hi, I have trawled through the comments & replies but can't see the EGR valve mentioned. I am going to try this product anyway but wondered if it would help with the dreaded EGR - Limp mode scenario. I am about to try the Wynns EGR cleaner spray as soon as Amazon delivers it. :-) btw the dar is a Ventra V6 CDTI 2008.
Hi Paul. Sincere apologies for our very late reply. We had stopped receiving notification emails from youtube so we missed your post. Depending on where the EGR is situated, Revive will clean the EGR providing the fluid can pass by it. Being realistic, if the EGR is totally blocked and clogged, and only a pick would unblock it, then Revive would struggle.
Hi there. Any idea where can I find this product in Canada? I have a VW Jetta tdi 2002 and my turbo is full with crap, here the mecs charge lots of money to take it out and clean it. Thanks in advance.
+al bundy Hi Al, thanks for your post. Revive Canada are based in Alberta and can ship anywhere in Canada. Their website is : www.reviveturbocleaner.ca. Hope this helps!
please pardon me if this question has been asked already, as I have not went through all of the comments on this video. But is this product available for purchase in the United States? Like could I get it shipped from the UK to San Diego? Thank you in advance! - Shane
Shane Gallagher Hi Shane. Revive USA is based in Los Gatos California and they can ship direct to you. Here is a link to their website : www.revivemyengine.com. Thanks for asking the question.
Hi Cheyneo and thanks for your enquiry. Yes, Revive is in Australia. Details of all distributors can be found here : www.revivemyengine.com.au/locate-a-stockist.html Revive is suitable for your Ranger. Kind regards
Hello Vladimirs. There is no risk of hyrdo-lock providing you administer the Revive fluid as per instructions and as illustrated in the video above. Regards.
Tambo74 Hi and thanks for your enquiry. In the UK you can purchase Revive from Motor Factors which are listed here on our distributor page: reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/purchase or from various on-line sources.
Hello Nelson. Revive is suitable for all 4 stroke combustion engines. Revive is an aqueous based fluid which is non-flammable, non-caustic and non-combustible, so you will not experience any engine knock when applying it, nor will the engine revs fly up, because it's not a propellent. Have as llook through our FAQ's on our website for more information. Kind regards reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/questions
Thanks for clearing that up m8 👍think I'll have myself some ,is it the same process for me as in the vid as I have a 2006 vauxhall signum 1.9 cdti 150 Thanks again 👍
mnl493x Hi, yes same process. Please ensure you start the process with a cold engine and please be aware that the ECU may produce temporary fault codes, as the engine is running on 'un-metered' air.
***** For some reason, we cannot reply directly to your question due to possible configuration settings. However, your Saab is not fitted with a variable geometry turbo, although Revive will remove sooty carbon deposits from all petrol and diesel engines, whether they are normally aspirated or turbocharged. Please feel free to call us to discuss your requirement on +44(0)1225 744777. Kind regards
Have you guys had any testing on the 3.5 Ecoboost? I have the traverse one in the Taurus SHO. If you could prove that this works with data Ecoboost will jump on it like flies on poo.
Sincere apologies for our very late reply. We had stopped receiving notification emails from youtube so we missed your post. Revive will be suitable for Ecoboost engines and turbochargers, but it depends on what the problem is. If the problem is with the inlet valves 'coking' up due to the design of the Direct Injection, then due to the fact that fluid is nearly 800 times denser that air/gas , the fluid will prioritise the nearest ports and will take the shortest route, only cleaning the valves which are in its most direct path, unlike air would be evenly distributed throughout the inlet plenum.
Hi Chris. Adimittedly, diesels are dirty and petrol engines burn a lot cleaner. However, Direct Injection Petrol engines, such as GDI's, TFSI's, FSI's and EcoBoost's etc.. suffer from soot and carbon deposits in the intake system but especially on the inlet valves, causing an air path restriction. This in turn causes the engine to run rich and lumpy. Using Revive on a regular basis, would minimise thie build-up.
Hello Chris. Revive is a non-ionic surfactant, so when applied through the intake system with the engine running, will clean the throttle body, inlet valves etc..
Hello NYKOLAS77 . We do not yet have a distributor in Denmark, however, we can ship direct if required. Please send an email including your full address to sales@spdiagnostics.com and we can email you a quote. Kind regards
Hi Sheraz. Depending on where the EGR valve is located in the system and whether it is open or closed (Revive needs to pass through it to clean it) Revive will make a big difference. However, as Revive is applied through the air intake and then the combustion process, it does NOT pass through the injectors , so will not clean them. Hope this helps and thanks for getting in touch.
Hello Brian. Apologies for the delay in our reply, our server has been down until now. Your local suppliers for Revive are: Jayar Car Parts, GSF or Bennetts. If you use our website 'where to buy' and enter your postcode, it will list the nearest to you. reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/where-to-buy
+Jay Wigley Sorry for the delay in our reply. Revive will remove soot deposits from the EGR, depending on where it is situated in the system. However, Revive needs to pass through the deposits to be effective, so if the EGR is solidly blocked, it needs removal and manually clean it on a workshop bench, not in situ. Kind regards
+Jay Wigley Oh... physically welded! :) Sorry, so you can't remove the EGR. We thought you meant 'welded' shut through carbon. Then I would suggest using Revive providing the EGR is inline with the airpath that Revive will take when being applied.
+spdiagnostics thanks for the reply and I will as the egr is welded on where can I buy this product? and can a normal egr spray cleaner work doing the same method many thanks jay
+Jay Wigley Please visit www.reviveturbocleaner.com for where to buy Revive. There are some very agressive EGR cleaners on the market, which have no end of chemical warnings on the can, so if you choose to use one of those, please use in a well ventilated area.
+YaM TOObE Hi and apologies for the delay in our reply. You apply Revive after the Mass Air Flow sensor. If you are not sure , please seek professional advice. Kind regards
+Stephen Carmichael Hello Stephen. Firstly, Revive is suitable for all Petrol/Gasoline , Diesel, turbo and normally aspirated engines. Please ensure you have carried out some basic diagnostic checks and once you are happy that your problem is due to soot or carbon deposits, then treat your engine to Revive. Our distributor for Northern Ireland is www.stephenrobinson.com/ . You will need to ring them to order it because they are currently building their dedicated Revive website with online shop. Kind regards
+Dale Ovenstone Hello Dale and thanks for the question. The way that Revive works, when applied at velocity through the combustion process, the active ingredients, remove the soot and carbon deposits in tiny particles, which are no bigger than the soot particles the engine naturaly generates, so it is perfectly safe to use on vehicles fitted with a DPF. However, if you have a fault code in the Engine ECU, not relating to DPF, then the ECU strategy will abort any attempt to dynamically regenerate the DPF until those faults codes are cleared/ fixed. We would always recommend to check the soot loading after a Revive treatment and carry out a forced or dynamic regen afterwards, as the treatment will add to the soot loading.
Thanks for the quick reply. Can I also ask how effective is this compared to using a sodium hydroxide based product, I don't know if you have heard of the Mr muscle trick?
Revive does not need any disassembly to apply. If you have ever used oven cleaner on an oven, you should have noticed how it turns solid carbon into a liquid mess. This solidified carbon needs to go somewhere...so how are you going to clean this up without removing the turbo and stripping it?
The process of using Mr muscle is when the carbon is liquefied the gunk will pass through the exhaust which of why the oven cleaner is sprayed in the exhaust outlet of the turbo
juman islam We believe when using an oven cleaner, you are just moving the problem around. The liquified carbon will move around inside the turbo and end up between the connecting pins on the variable vane blades and the back plate, then this liquid carbon will then solidify due to the heat. Revive removes the carbon, it does not liquify it. Plus oven cleaner will not pass through Catalysts & DPF's.
Revive is extremely effective at removing sooty carbon deposits from the VGT. It is not very good at repairing split vacuum pipes, so please carry out all the necessary diagnostic tests before assuming it's sticky vanes. Kind regards.
Hi there, I just had my car terracleaned but didnt solve the problem with it going into limp mode if I go past 3000 rps in anything past 2nd gear.... I Think it is a turbo problem as before it was stuttering when acceleration... any feedback? Jaguar xtype 2.0d Also I live in TW20 area do you have anywhere I can buy this product instead of online?
Hi Bruno. We have replied to your email. You can purchase Revive in your area from GSF Car Parts www.gsfcarparts.com/heathrow but please check with them before travelling.
Hello there! I would like to know if this could work on a automatic peugeot 2.0 hdi. Engine goes on limp mode when reving it up, however is not consuming oil or fuming white except when I first start it and it's cold. Could be this due to carbon deposits? Engine management light is popping up on long gears after blanking the EGR. Thanks!
+Ruben Cayon Hello Ruben. You can carry out a Revive treatment on your Peugeot HDI. However, we cannot diagnose your vehicle, so we would ask you to seek professional advice by talking to a qualified technician. Revive is extremely effective at removing soot and carbon deposits, but it cannot repair faulty sensors. If the technician you use, agrees that the problem is due to carbon, then please use Revive.
Hello Will. Yes, you can use Revive on your Mondeo tdci as demonstrated in the video above. However, because of the electronic actuator fitted rather than a vacuum one, you will need suitable diagnostic equipment which is capable of operating the actuator diagnostically. It is not essential but it does help if particularly sticky.
Hi, the mileage is not really that important as it is more to do with when your car is feeling a bit down on power or develops a soot deposit fault which can happen at any mileage depending on how the car is used and the quality of Fuel put in. However the treatment will always clean even if you don't have an issue and if that is the case I would recommend using one of our service shots before you change your oil as a preventative maintenance treatment.
Do you have any one selling your product in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia? I drive a mitsu Triton turbo diesel and is badly in need of such a clean having clocked 123,000km. Thanks.
Hello Ryan and thanks for your enquiry. We do not yet have a distributor in Malaysia, so in the meantime we are shipping direct. Please send an email to reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/contact and we can then quote you. Kind regards
hi there, I have a 2007 mkv jetta gli 2.0t. I have engine codes 0234 2293 0089. two are for the fuel pressure injector and one is saying I have overboost. will revive fix my issues?
Hi and thanks for your question. 2293 and 0089 are both related to fuel pressure, which Revive won't fix. 0234, is indeed an 'overboost' code and providing you have checked and happy with the vacuum components, then Revive will certainly help by removing the soot deposits in the variable geometry mechanism in the turbo, which has probably caused the overboost code. However, the 2293 and 0089 codes are probably causing you more problems, so sorting those out first would be our advice. Kind regards.
Hi ..yes you can. Revive will clean any gasoline or diesel engine, (except 2 stroke) whether it's normally aspirated or turbocharged and providing your engine is mechanically ok and does not show signs of wear. Please do not perform a Revive treatment if your engine is excessively using oil, has 'end float' wear in the turbo shaft.
+Ales Olejnik Thanks for taking the time to post your feedback, it is very much appreciated. Spread the word! :)
I would recommend working the moving the waste gate up and down by hand during the intervals between dosing the treatment.
+Julian Backhouse mr muscle oven cleaner trick, have you tried that?
i have the same vehicle
spdiagnostics what is your stuff made up exactly from ?
+novaturbkkk It's a water based non-ionic surfactant with active molecular ingredients. For commercial reasons, we do not publicise the specific ingredients, for reasons i'm sure you will understand.
Hi. This totally depends on how the vehicle is driven. If driven in city centres and the vehicle rarely gets to stretch its legs, carbon fouling will occur far quicker than a car constantly using boost on motorways, autobahns or freeways. A treatment of 750ml will cure the problem but we would advise the same treatment on every scheduled service interval as a preventative measure.
Hello Jorge.
We do not yet have a distributor in Brazil, however we can ship from here in the UK if required.
Hi, I have an 07 plate x type 2.0 d, and the problem is the diesel heater light comes on when driving and power drops (i assume this is limp home mode) if i switch off the engine and restart the light goes off and the car drives fine. would revive cure this?
Car has done 200,000 miles
Looking forward to using this on my MK4 Mondeo TX Sport 2ltr Deisel. On order
Update. Stopped the lag in 1st gear from standstill. Easy to use.
Can this be used on cars with DPFs?
Do you have a distributor in Finland? Also, how much liquid and how many revs would you recommend for a large, 11-16-liter truck engine?
at how many miles that a diesel car has done would you recommend doing this?
hydro lock?
+spdiagnostics can you show how to decarbonize a ford fiesta 1.4tdci
The process is the same regardless of the model. If you do not know where the inlet pipe is, we would suggest to seek professional trade advice.
Thanks and please do!
Well Chris have you tried this yet? If so has it made any difference?
Just wondering if you had used the Revive and if so has it made a difference and sorted out your problem's of chewing gum in the piston.
Hi can i use on Diesel Engine?
Can I use this in a 2016 VW GTI to prevent buildup? How many doses should I run through it? I found out buildup seems to be a neverending problem with some GTIs.
Hello Largol33t1
Thanks for your question.
Thanks
Lars
Can i use it on my 2001 vw golf mk 4 1.9 tdi with 274.000 km
Hi and thanks for your post. Yes you can, providing your engine is mechanically ok and does not show signs of wear. Please do not perform a Revive treatment if your engine is excessively using oil, has 'end float' wear in the turbo shaft.
+spdiagnostics thx for the answer 😊 ✌
what about the cat / catalyst will it be damaged ???
Please can you finally clear up this unanswered question thanks,,
I'm quess ing it would hurt the dpf as it's main design is too clean/filter engine emissions so all that carbon removed and pouring out the back of the mondeo in the vid , so I'd have a cleaner turbo but a more clogged dpf?
Kind regards
@user/spdiagnostics Nov 18, 2013
@user/martintuky the deposits that are removed during the cleaning process are the same as the ones that are produced during normal engine operation, these get trapped by the DPF in the same way and are handled by the vehicle regeneration process. So Revive does not harm the DPF.
Reply ·
One more thing from below answers if my ecu does throw up some fault codes , I take it it's still fine too drive the car as there is no real fault? Probs dumb question but just checking
Thanks
mnl493x Hi...
Would this be okay with a 1999 saab 9-3?
What about dry steam? Will be better?
Dry steam will not contain the special Revive formula so will not clean like the official product.
martintuky the deposits that are removed during the cleaning process are the same as the ones that are produced during normal engine operation, these get trapped by the DPF in the same way and are handled by the vehicle regeneration process.
I've bought revive but need some advice before I make an attempt:
1) you said to make it more effective I should use a vacuum pump kit to move the actuator.
a) where I can buy one from?
b) when should I use it during the process?
Thank's
Do you know any dealer that sells on Brazil?
Looks nice, I have an MKIV, anywhere in Calgary, AB. Canada to get this product

thank you so much i will look into it
vlade2512 Hey I am from Calgary too. Did you every get this stuff? Did it work? I have a Porsche 930 turbo with the same issue. Wondering if this will work on that?
Where is this Part-stop Auto & Industrial Supply Ltd?
no not really, i kind of let mi gf use my car so i have no idea how it runs so far. but if i would get it i would let you know
How does the car run when the air sensor is reading zero air flow?...my car stalls out when this happens.
You can purchase it in Norway from www.reviveturbocleaner.no
Can be this product user to clean sticky turbo vanes without dissasembling turbo ? I mean by spraying into the intake manifold
Hi would this clean a sticky turbo actuator
Hi. We do not offer a fuel system cleaner, so could you please call our office to discuss on 01225 701920. Thank you.
Sorry what country are you enquiring from?
The product was bought in U.A.E. Dubai. I am from Pakistan.
Ok thank you. Yes we have shipped our product to Dubai, but we think you have bought a diiferent product than ours, as we do not call ours a fuel system cleaner. If the product you bought is in a can which is black and red, it is not our product.
What's the difference between this and seafoam?
Hello Roddy and thanks for your question.
Seafoam make several products, so it does depend on whether
your question is Petrol/Gas or Diesel based. The closest comparison to Revive
would be their Seafoam Spray, which is an intake cleaner and because it is
flammable, the fluid is combusted by the time it is going out the exhaust
valves and into the turbine. Although Revive will also clean the intake, we are
targeting a specific issue on the variable geometry mechanism within the
turbine side of the diesel turbocharger and because Revive is a non-ionic
surfactant and is non-combustible, the ingredients in the fluid are still
active after combustion. Although they are different products and are not a direct
comparison, in summary, Seafoam is a flammable hazardous chemical based intake
cleaner and Revive is a safe non hazardous chemical turbo cleaner which also
clean the intake. Both Safety Data Sheets (SDS) can be found on the web through
search engines.Hope this answers your question without being too biased :) Kind regards
This looks great. Is it advisable to use it on non-turbocharged cars as well, similar to seafoam or B12 Chemtool? Does anyone carry it in the U.S.?
Hello benjmiester. Revive removes carbon build-up from petrol and diesel engines, turbocharged or normally aspirated as is available in the States from Peract Systems LLC in California www.peractsystems.com Regards
spdiagnostics
Good to know. Thanks!
Hi Guys,
I have bought the product and I want to try it out on a ford galaxy 2002 model.
Revive can be used on Diesel and Petrol Engines.
Will revive clean a blocked injector please ?
Hi and thanks for your question. We have not carried out any testing on injectors that are 'lacquered', so cannot comment on the effect that Revive would have.
Hi I have a Mitsubishi Grandis 2.0 Did. Its come up with fault codes. po234 and v0002. will revive help with this?
Hello William. Well, P0234 is an overboost code, which can be caused by sticky vanes inside the variable vane mechanism of the turbocharger. If this restriction is due to soot deposits, then yes, Revive should be used. However, this code can also be generated by faulty vacuum pipes or faulty pressure boost solenoid/valve. Your vehicle is fitted with a Garrett GTB1646VM which has a diaphragm operated actuator, so please make sure this is also holding vacuum. Once you are happy that all is in order, then treat it with Revive.
how about on a 2002 Chevy 2500hd with Duramax diesel engine?
Hi and thanks for your question. Yes, very popular for the Duramax. Our U.S & Canadian distributors have specific instructions for the Duramax engine, due to its low RPM range. You can downlowd these instructions from their websites, although the kit in the States includes them. Here are the website links for reference.

Thanks a lot.
Yes, Revive is suitable for your Veloster and yes, we would recommend to treat it before an oil change
the spray for the tube air filter or Intercooler ??

how about in the Philippine, do you have distributor here?tnx
Hello Raymond. We do not yet have a distributor in the Philippines. We can ship it direct to you, so i f you can send us an enquiry email to reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php, we can then send you the costs
hi there, i have a triton strada model 2007, can this product is applicable on my diesel car? thanks a lot...
Hello Evan. Sincere apologies for our very late reply. We stopped receiving youtube notifications and we've missed quite a few posts. We appreciate our late answer is probably not useful to you now, but our answer was yes, Revive is suitable for your Triton.
will this clean the inlet manifold?
Regards
hi, is this suitable for a '08 Mazda BT50 3.0L Diesel
alex mclaughlin Hi Alex. Yes, Revive is suitable for your Mazda BT50. Revive can be used on all Diesel engines, with or without turbo. It can also be used on normally aspirated or turbocharged petrol/gasoline engines too, with the exception of two strokes and the Mazda Rotary. Here is a list of stocking distributors. reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/purchase

is this okay to spray directly into the turbo?
Hi Michael. Yes, into the compressor/intake side of the turbo. It will not cause any problems with the impeller but please ensure you get a good atomised spray pattern.
Will this help clean the catalytic converter as well?
Hope this helps!
spdiagnostics . Thank you very much . Very helpful. (y)
please pardon me if this question has been asked already, as I have not went through all of the comments on this video.
Can I use it for citroen c4 diesel 2005 60000 miles?
Hi Mohamed, yes Revive is suitable for all Diesel engines.
I'm in Australia do you have it here and will it work on my 2007 Ford 3.0 turbo diesel ranger?
Hi Cheyneo and thanks for your enquiry. Yes, Revive is in Australia. Details of all distributors can be found here :
www.revivemyengine.com.au/locate-a-stockist.html
Revive is suitable for your Ranger. Kind regards
didnt that gets into cylinders??? i know liquid in big amount cant be squeze and can broke engine.
Hello Vladimirs. There is no risk of hyrdo-lock providing you administer the Revive fluid as per instructions and as illustrated in the video above. Regards.
I have this car.. Can i get this product from halfords or similar auto-parts stores?
Tambo74 Hi and thanks for your enquiry. In the UK you can purchase Revive from Motor Factors which are listed here on our distributor page: reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/purchase or from various on-line sources.
Hi there, is this suitable for Mazda cx7, 07 model and what is the difference compare to any other brand's out there. thank you
Hello Nelson.
Kind regards
reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/questions
Thanks for clearing that up m8 👍think I'll have myself some ,is it the same process for me as in the vid as I have a 2006 vauxhall signum 1.9 cdti 150
Thanks again 👍
mnl493x Hi, yes same process.
If the problem is with the inlet valves 'coking' up due to the design of the Direct Injection, then due to the fact that fluid is nearly 800 times denser that air/gas , the fluid will prioritise the nearest ports and will take the shortest route, only cleaning the valves which are in its most direct path, unlike air would be evenly distributed throughout the inlet plenum.
hay I have gti 2009 2.0 (fsi turbo) engine can I clean the turbo in this way
Hello, yes revive would be suitable for your car.
what would a petrol engine get the benefit ?
Is this same as seafoam or amsoil to a petrol engine and any good to clean the throttle body ?
Hello Chris. Revive is a non-ionic surfactant, so when applied through the intake system with the engine running, will clean the throttle body, inlet valves etc..
We can buy this product in Denmark?
Hello NYKOLAS77 . We do not yet have a distributor in Denmark, however, we can ship direct if required. Please send an email including your full address to sales@spdiagnostics.com and we can email you a quote.
Kind regards
Hi, would this product clean EGR valve and injectors as well or its only for Turbo chargers? Thanks
Thanks for the quick reply. where do you guys based?
Our pleasure..We are based in Wiltshire - UK and we are the manufacturer of Revive : www.reviveturbocleaner.com
Where is the local supplier in IPSWICH Suffolk UK
Hello Brian. Apologies for the delay in our reply, our server has been down until now. Your local suppliers for Revive are: Jayar Car Parts, GSF or Bennetts. If you use our website 'where to buy' and enter your postcode, it will list the nearest to you.
reviveturbocleaner.com/index.php/where-to-buy
brilliant one question does this destroy carbon in the egr valve as I have problems with it and it's welded bmw 3 series 2010
Thanks for the reply that's okay I'm just struggling because it's welded and in my area no one wants to help take it off thanks anyway
Can i use in my Fiat 1.4t motor ?
Hi Nick,
Yes Revive will be fine to use on your Fiat.
how do you use this on a bmw diesel engine. Do i need to take the air filter out?
+YaM TOObE Hi and apologies for the delay in our reply. You apply Revive after the Mass Air Flow sensor. If you are not sure , please seek professional advice.
Kind regards
hi. i was wonderig if this will work for a 2004 honda accord 2.2 ictdi and if so where can i buy this in northern Ireland. Thanks
Great. Thanks for the quick reply
Thanks for the video does it work on cars fitted with a DPF in the exhaust?
+Dale Ovenstone Hey, that's great news thanks for your prompt reply. Regards Dale
Hello Dale. Revive strips away carbon depsoits away in tiny particles, making it safe to use on vehicle fitted with a DPF.
Thanks for the reply. How effective is revive. Can it be done in one job?
Revive is extremely effective at removing sooty carbon deposits from the VGT. It is not very good at repairing split vacuum pipes, so please carry out all the necessary diagnostic tests before assuming it's sticky vanes. Kind regards.
Hi there, I just had my car terracleaned but didnt solve the problem with it going into limp mode if I go past 3000 rps in anything past 2nd gear....
I Think it is a turbo problem as before it was stuttering when acceleration... any feedback? Jaguar xtype 2.0d
Also I live in TW20 area do you have anywhere I can buy this product instead of online?
Hi Bruno. We have replied to your email. You can purchase Revive in your area from GSF Car Parts www.gsfcarparts.com/heathrow but please check with them before travelling.
Just did it, still think I will need another refill :D
car feels a lot better so I will buy a refill to do it again!
your turbo waste gate either stuck open or close. get a decent mechanic to free your waste gate actuator. that's what I did to my old pasaat tdi.
Bruno Baleisão b
my mk5 golf gttdi also hitting limp mode at 2k + revs .garage told me could be clogged up vanes ,and cheaper to fit new turbo ,
Hello there!
Hi can you use this on a ford mondeo tdci with electronic actuator to clean out turbo. Can you advice how to do if possible
Regards
Will
Thanks
How much kilometres we want to do this
Hi, the mileage is not really that important as it is more to do with when your car is feeling a bit down on power or develops a soot deposit fault which can happen at any mileage depending on how the car is used and the quality of Fuel put in.
Kind regards
spdiagnostics Already sent. Waiting for a response. Cheers!
hi there, I have a 2007 mkv jetta gli 2.0t.
Can i use it on opel astra f tds
Hi ..yes you can. Revive will clean any gasoline or diesel engine, (except 2 stroke) whether it's normally aspirated or turbocharged and providing your engine is mechanically ok and does not show signs of wear. Please do not perform a Revive treatment if your engine is excessively using oil, has 'end float' wear in the turbo shaft.
