the number one and most effective way to make your roses (oer any cut flowers) last very very long time is to put them in a refrigerator, before you go to bed at night. You will not believe how much longer they will last.

Si mon really? I saw my job put flowers in the fridge. I thought that was a bit strange. Now I know why. Thank you

OMG I just came here to check out how to preserve some roses & low & behold who's commented? Why none other than Rebecca Robeson ;-), small world. I never knew about the aspirin or the 7-up, sounds like some sort of a hangover cure to me never mind flower nourishment ;-P, who'd of guessed that the things you'd need to really make your flowers pop, are soda pop & some pills to pop!? There's rain coming here, hopefully not too much & hopefully I'll be able to try this out soon! Thanks Allen & EHow
