Yes... We basicly do it before select the types of driven mehod for our clients. Measuring run-out is most important for all rotating mechineries. Especially, those running on the gear drives basis. Run-out measurement is to determine a value of eccentricity. To get to know that what miss alignment occurred on the shafts that effet to the surface roundness on the gears. If the result of measurement is off-spec, we would consider to go for Chain Drive instead. Otherwise, it could make noise and/or create proper damages to the engines. So many reasons to make a cam shaft ran-out. Some causes are: 1. The engine parts worn. For example, bearings, bushes. 2. The camshafts are blended itselves. It could be happened because of heat, overdrive, etc. Thanks for a good quest.

Measure gear cam runout
ค่า runout ในความหมายเกี่ยวกับเรื่องแคม คือการวัดค่าความแกว่งของ เฟืองที่อยู่ ปลายเพลาลูกเบี้ยว ว่ามีค่า Miss alignment หรือค่าความเยื้องศูนย์กลาง (eccentricity) อยู่เท่าไหร่ หากมีมากแล้ว ควรใช้ระบบการขับเคลื่อน เพลาลูกเบี้ยวแบบโซ่ (Chain drive) แต่หากมีค่าอยู่ในกำหนด ก็สามารถเลือกใช้ เพลาลูกเบี้ยวแบบ Gear Drive ได้
ค่าความเยื้องศูนย์นี้ มีหลายปัจจัยด้วยกัน แต่หลักๆ อาจมาจากสาเหตุต่างๆ ต่อไปนี้
1. ค่าความสึกหรอของเครื่องยนต์ เช่น ลูกปืนเพลาลูกเบี้ยว หรือบุชรองหัวท้ายเพลาลูกเบี้ยว Cam Shaft Bearings or Bushes ทำให้เกิดอาการแกว่งหนีศูนย์กลาง
2. เกิดอาการโก่งคดของตัวเพลาลูกเบี้ยวเอง เป็นต้น
หากค่า Run Out อยู่ในระดับ off-Standard การเลือกใช้เพลาลูกเบี้ยแบบเฟือง อาจมีการหอน เนื่องจากการคบกันของเฟือง มีการบิดตัวไปมา และ ค่า clearance ของเฟืองในแต่ละเฟือง ที่ขบกัน ไม่เท่ากัน

เห็นเค้าบอกว่าเปลี่ยนแคม 475 465 แล้ว เวลาขับความเร็วต่ำๆมันจะกระตุกๆขับยาก เป็นเพราะอะไรหรอครับ แล้วมีแคมแนะนำมั้ยครับ (ทัวริ่งนะ)ที่ขับแบบสมูทๆแต่เครื่องยังเดินหอบอยู่
เวลาขับความเร็วต่ำๆมันจะกระตุกๆขับยาก
จะเกิดในแคม 475 ครับ เกิดขึ้นเพราะรอบการใช้งานของลักษณ์แคมครับ
