How in the world did you get those numbers??? I have this same car exactly and i get between 31 and 33 MPG average. No matter how much i baby it during acceleration
podmuse1994 This is my car that I drive every day. I actually beat the crap out of it pretty well and I always get at least 36. Weather and amount of stops and starts play a factor too. It just depends!
+MattyFredProductions Not sure about the computer mpg reading I noticed it's off by at least 2 mpg if you are calculating mpg with gas used to fill up divide by miles driven. My readings are usually 2 mpg off vs the dash reading
That was only a 50 mile trip with i bet was mostly highway driving. I am a great mpg guru. On my way to work and school in real driving situations in California taking the CA 91 freeway with a the powershift auto, i can manage up to 40mpg. That includes city driving to and from the freeway. On average, i usually get 35mpg with half city and half highway driving. The EPA estimates say 27 city, 37 highway combined mpg is 32mpg. if there was no traffic i could maybe get 50mpg. You can get even better mileage with the manual since you can put it on neutral to coast to a stop, or slow down to anticipate for traffic change.
i like it... handling is tight, and gas mileage is very good.
