This woman is NOT aggressive she is angry about what happened to her after working hard know the difference, do not perpetuate stereotypes. The statement about worth, meaning we need to know what we are worth so that we wont end up in this position. This happened to me. I changed my position.

People still have a right to be upset if they feel they've been done wrong. Everyone doesn't vent the same way. It's not what I would do but everyone is Different with their response. Maybe she felt better when she got that off her shoulders. It's her account to do the way she wants to. I don't think it's anyone in the world that everyone agrees with what they're saying or doing.

Shawn, you're misjudging. If this has never happened to you, count your blessings. It's an absolute kick in the gut when you've been dismissed from a job you have given your all. Now you've been replaced by blonde-haired blue-eyed Becky. I had a bar owner in my rear passenger seat while doing UBER, upset that his bartender did not want to come to work. He stated she averaged about $400.00 a night. What's great about rideshare is you get to talk to a lot of people in different professions. I've spoken to several bartenders since and they all confirm you can make quite a bit of money in that field. That said, she'll be alright. With the realization that an employer can dismiss you at any given time, I hope she creates a plan to exit the workforce in the not-too-distant future.

This has happened to me as a male, I was given leadership titles a raise that was hard to get based on requirements. They didn’t fire me but they didn’t pay me what I was supposedly owed. I left back to the gig work I make the same pay and a little more at times. KNOW YOU’RE WORTH. start a business or gig it out you got this leave these people “jobs” ALONE!!!! I’ll quit a job an go straight to the money

I would mention something in an email to HR. Keep in mind HR is not your friend so word things carefully. you do this so you have a record of the situation and if she felt this was unfair than she can hire a lawyer and sue them. Companies have a tendency to break the law and not want their ex employee or current to know they exist. so always get things in email but records

Whatever happened black women just need to do their own thing even if it is less money at first. Black women just need to disappear from the workforce. I did it. I worked side gig that paid way more that the job I had I was tired but I saved up all the work checks and bounced. Just be tired for a while and keep several income streams. Get an LLC so you can pay your self through It so you can always show a positive income stream. This way you can always show good credit without depending on a job. In a year or two you will be solid. You can work a job if you want while running your business and side gigs. When a job acts up wanting you to train somebody you can put in your two weeks notice and take vacation.
This isn't just about black women. Black men has been going through that for decades!

Black women are seen as hostile and abrasive. We are vulnerable and primed for exploitation. Of course some black women look at people like how are you looking to do me in. They told her she was aggressive, she even said it in this video. Many of you are only looking at the individual from a sympathetic angle. I bet if you hear it from the manager's side, they will tell you exactly what it was. Don't always sympathize because someone is telling one side of the story. Like I said, even she said that they said she was aggressive.

Wow....your lack of empathy is disappointing. I am very reserved, and you would never know I can get upset. But when i do, my upset looks like her. I feel her pain, and I'm praying for her. I understand her frustration, but as a black person that should never surprise you. So you must move accordingly at all times, by having multiple streams of income, having proper emergency funds etc. I would also contact a lawyer to see if that firing was legal or if they broke the law. It's economic warfare out here.

Actually many of them have YOU training the new person. Not everyone has the confidence to go on their own. You are like that but not everyone is. Many companies prefer someone non confrontational. You call it aggressive but she may have a no nonsense personality. She could have had a side hustle and still vented as you never know what someone is dealing with in their personal life.

These days I will walk out on the job before they can fire me. I don’t know why this girl is crying and pushing it all over social media. OK it’s ridiculous. Probably what happened. I don’t know what happened she got fired. That’s the economy today go out there and get your own. Don’t rely on anybody else, that’s what I do. I hear you. You know where I get the WORST customer service? Take a guess... Black owned restaurants. Someone crying in a car doesn't make them the good person. Why was she fired/laid off? Was she fired/laid off for cause? Was she unjustly fired/laid off? We don't know. Nothing in this video explains the why.
