This is honestly what I thought they should've done during [EW SPOILERS BELOW] the walk with your WoL and the Scions during the credits scene. I think it would've been a great capstone to show everyone that joined up/left during our journey.

@@BARALover96 my theory is in the next expansion we're going to get a new casting job, and a new scouting job, and y'shtola will be said new casting job, she's technically the only scion that doesn't have a proper job (as there's no sorceress soul stone). Yes, g'raha doesn't have one either but he has a gameplay mechanic excuse. that said i think scions picking up other roles in addition to their current ones would help variety for trust roles so we don't need to keep specific characters aroudn for the sake of filling a trust role, i.e y'shtola can be a healer or a dps, alisaie tank or dps, etc etc

Yshtola did technically start off as a conjurer but im not sure if the lore claimed her as such, I'm going on the basis of her early game outfit and weapons which were CNJ gear. Thancred would probably have the most difficulty swapping classes though as supposedly all the classes use aether in one way or another and he can't anymore. Due to how the GNB is lore wise they put aether in bullets which makes it easier for him lore wise as he can simply have someone else create his ammunition. The only other class that might make sense is the new reaper class as supposedly it uses a voidkin to control the aether and the lore of such a class comes from the gardens who cannot naturally use aether anyway.

this makes me hope one day we can fully customize every scion's appearance even in msq with any outfit they previously wore, to change it up a bit or just think of the old days

The funniest thing about thancred donning bozja gear for garlemald then switching back is that even if he was using the upgraded dyeable artifact gear, it’s still worse than bozja gear (480 vs 495)! Thancred what are you doing!
IIRC, Urianger and Y'Stola always knew that it was Lyse pretending to be Yda, they treated her like a Scion anyway. it was really more the fact that she wasn't an actual Archon because the mark she had was faked by Papalymo. being an Archon isn't a prerequisite for becoming a Scion since the WoL and Estinien were never Archons.

I'm kind of upset that Y'shtola's skin tone was made a shade lighter in Shadowbringers. I get that the in-universe reason for it was because her body was stuck indoors on the Source but it still feels bad considering how fair most of the Scions are. I hope that in a future expansion the devs give her her original skin tone back.
I've always wondered at the decision to kill Paplymo. I just, IDK, were Lyse/Yda and Payalymo not as well received at Thancred and Y'shtola? Like, why do the Gridania recruits not get to go on the cool journeys? Lyse got Stormblood, sure, but they could've just as easily had her stay as Yda and stayed an active Scion and just been another member wrapped up in the forced war for independence. I just hate Y'shtola as a character and think Thancred is dull, Yda was funny and Payaplymo was the straight man keeping everyone in check and I resonated with them both so I was so upset when Lyse stayed behind and Papalymo died and I still don't understand why.
I admit it seems odd they removed lysse. While it seems she may jave taken up a leadership role with the restoration of Ala migho I dont believe it was ever actually stated that she did, just that she was going to stay and help out. I personally like her character after her change but not so much while she was playing yda as she was quite annoying. As for papalymo I've never been a fan of him and he always gave me the impression of being quite snobby and I personally hate snobby characters. Even so killing him off might have been a bit extreme imo, could have done something else to remove him from the picture instead.
Most of these should had died long ago. Never should had joined them in the first place. Even after Endwalker, I still say this - The Majority of the Scions I do not care one bit about.
