PSA for new players: Go for the exit first! The exit is worth more then even the golden Cactuar. Always prioritize that one first, and then hunt for the rest of the Cactuar statues, because once you touch the goal, it doesn't matter if the time runs out, you still get the full MGP from reaching the goal. Once you reach the goal, that goal is done for you, meaning: you can abbandone duty to get out earlier without having to get to the goal again to leave.

@@Syllaren imo the only system wow has over ffxiv is the transmog system. Being able to try on and find the farm spot make it awesome.... After playing wow from vanilla to Legion, only having raiding, pvp, and a decent appearance system doesn't cut it for me anymore.

@@Hoto74 It always depends on the person. Thing is, FF14 starts pretty slow and the community is absolutely spoiled with a great Mainstory Questline. ARR is a really good game on its own and parts of it are absolutely highlights. Thing is just, when the next addon, Heavensward, is amazing, the addon after, Stormblood, had slight pacing issues but is still really great and the current addon, Shadowbringers, is another insane rollercoaster with one of the best stories in any MMO to date, you look back and are kinda meh for the base game. (Also helps that they changed the English VAs in Heavensward)

even back in MOP when stopped playing WoW for good I felt it pulling away from the variety I wanted to see in an MMO, so when I tried out FF14 later on I just felt right at home at the end of the trial (the old one limited to Level 35, even)

@@MissPopuri This Chocobo version grabs a lot from the Beach Boys, since the OG song sounds more like a surf-like song with the constant guitar rifts (that you can hear in this FF14 version) and also the keyboard sounds a little different, like an old electronic organ out of songs from the 60's.
I spent a couple of months in the gold saucer when I discovered it. I was playing the old trial version that was more limited. I really wanted the Fenrir mount so I raised racing chocobos and raced my way to getting that mount. I had so much fun.
Well if you want to farm it out, it'll take clearly some Extremes, but collecting the first 312(?) cards (all the current cards except the last page) will get you a flying card mount!
Honestly. The RUclips content has been phenomenal since he started playing ff14 not only because of asmon but also because of the editor so huge props to you good sir! You can really see that the editor also enjoys editing this more than the WoW content

I love seeing Zack happy and enjoying the game. I quit wow recently after seven years and downloaded FFXIV and it’s such a nice, fresh start. I’m actually enjoying myself, unlike the stupid daily quests in the Maw and my covenant...
Fun fact, you don't have to exit these from the goal to get full credit, as long as you stand on the goal once. I usually slap the finish before trying the riskier gold trophy jumps.
I like how as long as you touch the goal, you are considered to have met the requirement for completion. You don't have to be at the goal when the time ends, and you don't have to hand it in. I usually grab the bronze statues on my way up and any silver that I can easily grab, get to the goal. Once I hear that sound and light glowing (visual audio confirmation that I got to the goal), I turn around and go for the silvers that I missed and the gold one. I'd hate to run out of time and fail the jump puzzle because I focused on getting the statues first and kept falling back to the start.
I love how I have more than 2000 days of subscriptions and then comes a new guy with barely 1 week of gameplay and encourages me to do things I never even knew they existed
Best thing about Final Fantasy. It makes you actually feel rewarded for doing well instead of frustrated by the things a game pulls to screw you in spite of you doing well.

The handy thing with the second one, is the longer it goes, the easier a respawn becomes, because there’s less people to obscure the paths. Also, here’s a quick tip. If you manage to reach the goal, stand in it to get the little flash. That notes that you’ve completed the course, so even if the time runs out while you’re doing trophy cleanup, you’ll still receive a prize for reaching the end.

Fun fact, you don't have to exit these from the goal to get full credit, as long as you stand on the goal once. I usually slap the finish before trying the riskier gold trophy jumps.

I like how as long as you touch the goal, you are considered to have met the requirement for completion. You don't have to be at the goal when the time ends, and you don't have to hand it in. I usually grab the bronze statues on my way up and any silver that I can easily grab, get to the goal. Once I hear that sound and light glowing (visual audio confirmation that I got to the goal), I turn around and go for the silvers that I missed and the gold one. I'd hate to run out of time and fail the jump puzzle because I focused on getting the statues first and kept falling back to the start.

The handy thing with the second one, is the longer it goes, the easier a respawn becomes, because there’s less people to obscure the paths.
Also, here’s a quick tip. If you manage to reach the goal, stand in it to get the little flash. That notes that you’ve completed the course, so even if the time runs out while you’re doing trophy cleanup, you’ll still receive a prize for reaching the end.
