I love being in Florida. Our governor signed a bill recently that allows squatters to get kicked out by sheriffs deputy’s no matter how long they lived there. And floridas eviction process is fairly quick.
There is a guy in Southern cali, i heard about who steals back homes from squaters and gives it back to the homeowners. He basically goes in when the squaters leave to go somewhere, "moves in," and says he lives there. Now, the actual squater is trespassing, and they're removed from the property. Idk if that'd work in Washington, but obviously, the "legal system" won't do anything but cost homeowners more money.
Its a way to get squaters out, you have someone sign a leasw with the person who owns the property and then they can then move in LEGALLY and get the squaters removed by police for trespassing or B&E.
RUclipsr/Twitch(?) streamer Asian Andy and his friend kept super-loudly partying in the house with a squatter in it (a professional squatter of over 20 years) until Maria got pissed off, went out of the house, and got arrested by police for defecating in public (at least that's what Andy's friend said). It's a hilarious 4-part series covered by many famous RUclipsrs like Asmongold. Y'all need to check it out. Andy's friend is HILARIOUS. My personal favourite part was when Andy started blasting "Easy Street" (a Walking Dead reference to a certain mental torture scene of the fan favourite character).
Exactly.. Anarchy is the way. They've brainwashed us into thinking anarchy means pure chaos and without rules, but it actually means without rulers... Essentially everyone is a king. We actually live in anarchy in most ways already in our everyday lives including inside of our homes and with people we choose as friends etc. We do not force people to be our friends and in our homes we are not forcing our family members and or house mates to do certain things, we make rules up and everyone is expected to follow those certain rules (some even unwritten) in order to keep the peace.. Instead people be voting for old men to come save the day and as a result we have greedy narcissists making laws up to make themselves more powerful and we are still left with the same problems and more problems on top of it. 😢
That conversation with the King County police was hilariously bad. They are fully aware the legal system is a joke, they just can’t do anything about it.
Ong the cop at first def had a previous relationship with the squatter. He then realized he F up badly and changed his cool 😂. But yea even they fully acknowledge in the video how bad it is. If they do something they’re the ones that get in serious trouble.

It seems like the asian guy was allowed to live there, paid rent for 3 months, couldn't pay on time 4th month, and then paid rent through the goverment or taxpayer money or something after 3 months and the landlord is making it into a big deal. Can someone explain what the problem is? The landlord and the guy agreed he and his family could live there, and he has been paying his rent. I don't understand what the problem is They keep saying he's squatting and they stood outside with signs calling him a lawbreaker, and walking onto his drive recording him, at 2:06 he was called a serial squatter and he said they 'may start resorting to vigilante justice', 2:51 the guy said the asian dude and his family had protests outside the house for nearly 2 months. @@Saishi-i4pWatch the video thoroughly, the Asian guy is actively refusing to pay rent multiple times and even after getting 4 eviction notices, he isn't leaving. Taxpayer's money being used to pay the rent of an expensive estate should in itself be a concern.

One was squatting, the other was living in a tent on the streets. Both men chose to come and enter a clean and sober program here in Portland that helps you get on your feet, have a safe private space, attend classes to help re-program you so that you can re-engage with society, and to find employment. After 4 years, both men are successful and thriving. The one that was squatting is now a case manager at the program in Portland. He helped initiate the IHeartPortland initiative. And he goes boots to the ground on his weekends off to get people off the streets in Portland. The other gentleman that was in a tent has been gainfully employeed at the same job for almost 4 years now. Both are friends of mine and are such dedicated hard workers its hard for me to imagine them any other way. They are both so grateful to Andrea for giving them an opportunity for a new life.
This is one of the reasons Portland is going to crap rn tho because thousands of homeless people are flooding there for programs like this. Streets are filled with feces and broken cars and tents, it’s a nightmare for people in Portland rn. People need to keep programs local instead of shipping people to Portland. Protect Portland

Idiots in blue is a scary thing to see. These are the people who can easily ruin your whole life with a single radio call
What do u think would happen if this happened in Florida?
Whats firing going to help if you keep voting them in? Its not a dem/repp thing but your election system thats doing this

I'm familiar with Andrea Suarez (the lady in the video from IHeartSeattle). She actually saved two different men I know that were homeless and in active addiction in Seattle.
Severely underrated comment. ❤
She’s out there literally saving lives, what an awesome lady!! Doesn’t just sit around and complain about the problems, she got active and did something about it. So much respect for her
"Don't say you are going to come to my house again because I will, i will.... You will regret it" Man just got threatened by the police lmao
He deffo tried, dude realised what they were just talking about and couldn't do anything to a squatter
its only bad when it happens to them bro.
if squatters can break in and just take over your house, why can’t you just break in again and retake over the house?
Exactly.
In this case, he's not deemed a squatter, he has legally rented the house, and has a dispute on the rent. Why it takes so long to go through the judicial process to get closure on a time sensitive dispute (time sensitive because it's costing the owner a lot of money), is the part that I don't understand.
Well obviously bc it’s a “civil matter” 🤣🤣🤣
@@Qubevc because the government is slow when it comes to ANYTHING
Yeah what I was thinking is get like eight of your friends or family. Break in, and start squatting yourself?
9:46 the abandoned houses is what Detroit went through. It took a long time, but Detroit has been clean sweeping its neighborhoods.
I love how Steve avoided 90% of the questions or tried to deflect it
Imagine leaving everything behind to start off in a new country, succeed, and then have what worked very hard for be taken away from you just like that. And no politician, no official doing anything or being able to do a thing about it! It’s so infuriating!
Yep! I was embarrassed to hear that his friends from so many other countries were shocked this was happening to him in America of all places, how embarrassing for a 1st world country

Yes move in with his camera man and family and film everything he does!!!
At least that one cop was cool about Tyler's antics.
The sheriff protecting a squatter is the problem.
have you not been paying attention? He literally can't do anything. They're cops not politicians
@nnnjh8372 nice bait
THEY HAVE TO, they enforce LAWS, not make them.
Police have to do whatever the law says, or else they’ll lose their jobs. Politicians should take all the heat for this stupid law.
@nnnjh8372 what do you mean?
“Idiocracy” slowly but surely crawling up to the present. What a time to be alive.
Movie was prophetic!
Slowly? We’ve been living in it for like over a decade
