Honestly, took me weeks before I got a solid feel for all the things that go into this game, and I'm still finding out new stuff. I've been playing for about 4 months!
You have one hell of a game to explore, the things he talked about were after the 10 acts the game has, if you focus on finishing those you will come to understand about 1/5 of what he said, play for 10 hrs after that, and research a bit and the other 4/5 will be understood
The explode chest is easier to roll with a 4 socket delve resonator. Just block every mod pool and you only have 3 prefixes left. This way if the chest rolles with 3 prefixes you get it. Then if you have one or two bad suffixes go for prefixes cant be changed, scour them and multimod. If they are somewhat ok just craft one more and be done with it.
@@xyzqsrbo One thing before, it still is expensive to craft it. Alteration or fossils, you can both times expect >ex crafting cost. The alt spam just takes longer and is more of a random crafting, for the fossils you just roll the die on 1-3. You want Pristine + Metallic + Shuddering as a base and then either Aberrant or Dense depending what you also want. Either way it will give you the set when you hit a 3 prefix roll (the amount of affixes is random and not influenced by fossils). If you then want to make it an high end crafting item go for prefixes cant be changed + scour if you stil have room for it and clear it up + multimod. Or just have luck with good rolls on the first try. Just to be sure I didnt mess up better check it yourself, you can simulate the rolls on poedb when you go to mods -> body armours and tick your fossils.
I’ve had more T14+ maps dropping for me this league than the previous 5 leagues added together. My atlas is currently 151/154, awakened maps 141. Never used a single sextant and I have over 450 T14 and up maps. My friend is pretty much the same. I’m not sure what your doing wrong but it has never been so easy to sustain maps.
I also want to add something else about the clearspeed mods: "Enemies killed explode %# of their life as fire damage" Only works with *shaper influenced one handed maces, not sceptres* . I'm playing ball lightning miner right now and thanks to this mode I'm able to clear as fast as I'm running which is %30 ms boots, %30 increased ms quicksilver flask and perma onslaught. You do lose a lot of damage though. It's not a bossing stick for sure.
The time it takes to spawn the 4 conquerors does take a bit long. Also, when a conqueror's citadel spawns why can't it just be a t16 map? I know its where your watchtower is but when they drop bases they're not even i84 making them worthless half the time.
Just play necromancer and farm currency on bmaps. I litteraly was standing in one place on a T15 map on 69 lvl. By the time you finish, you'll have gear that will be enough to do all of the content. Disclaimer : I was referring to the part when you were talking about investment since necro is very cheap to start with.
So if i wanna farm a single zone on atlas i just remove the stones from all other zones? Where do i put the stones tho? They don't wanna go in stash. edit: nvm, forgot about the panel on the left lmao
I've never been a super hardcore player, but I have a couple characters in Maps, and I'm not sure where to go now with my builds. Got any advice for something fun and cheap to help build some currency, even if it doesn't get all the way to full on end game?
I'm struggling terribly on currency farm. I'm playing BV Cold Assassin and doing T10-T12 maps (sometimes I have to skip the Metamorph boss due lack of single target damage... actually one of the reasons I'm trying to farm currency for a new character). Do you have any tips on how to farm currency? Right now I have 5ex + divination cards that I can't remember the name but sells for around 1ex. I think I'm missing a huge part of the league not being able to kill Metamorph bosses at T13+ with consistency (and probably farm potential since I'm not running over T13 maps). So I was thinking to start a Ball Lightning Miner or a Ice Arrow Deadeye after 1 or 2 more days of farming on my BV Assassin. Some people suggested me to just play Necro and with that 5ex I could easily hit T16 but since I've played Necro last league I'm not 100% sure if I want to play it again.
Do poison. Very cheap an 5 ex budget can let you farm t16 maps easily. But you will get killed instantly if your not lucky since shadow is evasion based
Hey Nathan, what build for this league would you recommend that would give me the easiest time to gear and clear content with? I currently have a level 68 ice shot deadeye ranger and it's fun but getting that voidfletcher and opus is going to be a hassle unless I farm 2 more oni's. Any suggestions? I wanted a build that explodes everything like what you are playing if possible. Thanks
As he said, later on you can drop shaper or elder guardian maps, buy them of zana if you're lucky or you encounter them in 15+ maps when zhana is on your map Uber elder fragments then drop from doing normal elder and maybe from shaper but I did not do shaper yet so can only confirm from UE
Nathan, bebby boy, my luv, my PoE source of info... have you done any vid on like... what the F is Conquerors of Atlas? How does the mapping works? How to upgrade maps, etc etc? Cuz I've been trying to understand it and I just can't... And usually you're great on dumbing stuff down for less intelligent players like meself.
Hey, thanks for the kind words, but part of the reason why I haven't made an atlas guide yet is because it's still being regularly changed. It's actually pretty high on my priority list, but I don't want to put out a video that's going to be full of errors the second GGG comes back from vacation and decides to "fix" things.
Man my atlas is broken, the elderslayers/conquerors don’t even spawn anymore! Happened to many players, ran over 100 maps with nothing spawning! GGG seems to be having a hard time figuring out what is causing it! If they don’t fix it soon, a lot will quit playing for while!!!
Did 30 white maps today. Still waiting for a citadel to appear. I don't know why this happened today, a person told me you need to reset your hideout. Is it a bug, not sure...
Well i wanted to try cobra lash this league, im level 70 with a 5 link settup just started duing white maps, i dont have caped resists(i will cap them) but i just dont feel like i do damage to bosses and rere monsters, and im just not sure its viable this league, what shuld i do ?
Austris Brazevičs i played cobra lash in the start of thus league, on around 3 ex i was able to do t16 maps + metamorphs easily. I used a claw based build with two wasps nests, i crafted myself a nice pair of two toned resistance + life boosts (with pristine + prismatic fossils), a lion pelt helm with some resistances, and a bit of extra damage, and later on i crafted myself a six link body armour with -mana cost, and a pair of hunter influenced imperial claws (the bases go for 1 ex+ though, so not your first option) The reason i switched off the build, was that the lag on endgame maps was insane, all the poison stacks on the enemies arecked my computer.
To be fair i like new atlas progress but the league itself is too hard for casual players/play millions dps build or go f....- most streamers obliterate everything on screen so the solution to it was just to multiply every boss hp, dmg and so on??? Balance - none, -metamorphs you create in maps are like 3-5 times stronger (depends on mods) compared to the uniques you create from collected parts... From my experience it's bad league for casual players. Sustain in red maps is much better - i can deny, that but i like poe for variety in builds and this league is killing it.
So let me se if I get it right, I got 12 stones and I owe it say I need 3 stones to find conquerer, so I have to put 3 in the same region and run red tier map there to have a chance of finding the conqueror for the first time, only them I can run white maps?
Sorry, I should have been more clear. That tip was meant for people trying to RE-spawn Awakener, not fight him for the first time. It might still work for you, but I have not tested it myself.
@@nathanbrotherbob I'm asking because I've not being able to spawn conqueror after I got 12 stones, so I got there with a few yellows and reds, on the big painel now says I need 3 stones to spawn conquerors so I put 3 stones on 4 regions and start mapping, I've done like 80 maps and haven't spawn yet, sure most of them were white and yellow but some were red, and know I came to a place where I have no more maps and didn't spawn it, probably going to need to spread the stone again in pairs to farm yellows and red before trying again. I'm a little lost.
@@KalinGHG hi, you need to do the tiers of maps show on the atlas, like if you socketed 3stone and that region has tier 10-12 maps, you need to do that tier of maps to spawn the conqueror of that color then you can progress till the boss battle with white tiers(1°actual tier of *listed watchstone socketed region* map->2° and 3° white tier of the maps on that region) .
So Path of Exile is rejecting casual players then .. I have not yet leveled up a character to 70 (I do have a life) and it would probably take me another two days at least, while some people is already complaining about how hard the endgame content is and that you'd need more and more equipment (hours of play and good rng drops) to get somewhere ..
The problem is not reaching maps, is sustaining and spending enough time to get something out of the higher levels. I think I have reached lvl 11 once .. as I have not enough time during a week ..
@Kusanoji "Easily in 10 hours" lol. . . . Some of us live busy lives and people saying in the later stages, it's a ton of luck mixed with glitches and farming (mostly coming up short) is a bit discouraging for actual casual players. Remember, some people play other games, do other things, etc. Spending hours accomplishing nothing or just barely making progress can definitely dissuade a chunk of players

You’re playing wrong if you’re hoping to drop most of your currency. Higher Awakening levels = better ilvl influences gear = more currency than you can deal with

I played this game for 1 year+ I play ssf most of the time, dont need lessons about how to get currency, my comment was just that about the uploader telling about awakening level, and yes the currency drops in maps are shit, worst every league, like the rewards for killing hard bosses, read, watch and think before you give a standard answer.

I think they raised hp/damage bar, coz they gonna introduce 6-link everything in 4.0 so we wouldnt complain later, when their major update comes.

It took me 5 days to grind from 16 to 27 watchstones, now i got last 5 in less than 2 hours, sad that i didnt discover this earlier lol

I am just having fun playing regular maps this league is way to hard and buggy for me I hope it improves.
sextants have never been so cheap because t6 maps are only worth 6 chaos.

What does your inability to hit level 70 in two weeks have to do with poe rejecting casuals?
