Infusion doesn't have damage reduction on it, that buff comes from the support gem itself. The support gem grants 2 things, infusion AND the damage reduction. The reduction isn't part of infusion.

Maybe you can use it with some build, but the generic cyclone impale has so powerful nodes, its hard too remove them. I have a very good large jewel on my character (deep cuts + devastator and two socket) but in reality i can only use one of the two medium socket. The other one cost me 4 point for one notable, or 5 for 2. I tried every setup of medium cluster, in the best scenario i have 10% more damage for 5 points. In the skill tree, i have a unused node who give me 16% for 4 point, another at 18% for 5, ect.
you may want to re-read the description. it infact does have dmg reduction on it, the *type* of dmg comes from the gem its linked to but infused channeling itself gives the dmg reduction.
One thing I've noticed is the cold jewel cold to the core. Gives you cold damage per 25 stacked attribute. By itself it blows, but you can stack a bunch of them and then stack massive amounts of split personality jewels to get insanely high attributes. I made a build where I went hollow fist ice crash. Use nothing but split jewels and travel the tree, don't grab any damage, and you will get so much insane base damage and scaling from the stacked cold to the cores that your ice crash just one shots everything. Best part, you can get health or es on the jewels and with like 12 of them you will have a huge health pool.
The block themed small cluster jewels are great when using Mistwall. There's a notable that gives 1% increased damage per 1% chance to block attacks. Mistwall grants max block if you haven't blocked recently. So you can use it with an evasion+acro+phase acro build and get 75% increased general damage per jewel without any real investment in block chance. And of course, as a small jewel you can pair it with those sweet medium jewels
Seeker Rune - with 4 of these on two medium jewels (paired with +1 Brand notables) I had a 9 Brand build where my brands were LITERALLY OFFSCREEN FARMING. You go full cast speed and damage, double curse on hit rings, damage auras, and you melt threats off screen before they get the chance to look at you. No Brand Recall needed.
2 deep cuts are worth the equivalent of an " 2 extra impale" watcher's eye... That's around 30 ex but sells for way cheaper because they require a few more points to be invested
@@hachira y that's my end game build with hollow palm but I found out how to get to 12 impale stacks... even tho a berserker with the rage can get better DPS, it's only while you are burning them, that you can reach 40 mil dps, while the champion should constantly be around 30 mil DPS
But that is exactly the crux of the "issue". Saving a few points in the long run is definitely worth 30 ex. The higher level you get the more a single skill point will be worth to you.
9x Low tolerance + Scourge arrow + pathfinder. Low tollerance gives 300 inc. poison damage for first poison on enemy. 2700% increase damage with first poison combined with poison proliferation, works great vs. delirium monsters.

If you stack 4 heralds with purposeful harbringer, you can get up to 300% aura effect, not onlt hatred/wrath/anger, all aura skill gem will be affected, not that vengeful commander isn't broken, it can be, but purposeful harbringer is another level :V
Heraldry 20% increased Effect of Herald Buffs on you 10% reduced Mana Reservation of Herald Skills Purposeful Harbinger 10% increased Effect of Auras on You for each Herald affecting you Stack these and 4-5 Heralds for 90% max. res. via Purities (and none needed on gear), huge ES pool with Discipline, EV with Grace, etc. due to >150% aura effectiveness on you.
I personally prefer taking 8 purposeful harbingers, 6 endbringers and 2 heraldry, to get 400% increased aura effect and 750% increased damage, and then run basically every good aura in the game because you can get like 86% reduced mana reserved... Almost an aurabot except its using ichimonjis and dealing ridiculous damage. Oh and don't forget the 200% increased attack and cast speed and 90% phys damage reduction from the scion ascendancy.
Stacking Mob Mentality in combination with Berserk is also pretty neat. You get really high Berserk uptime and can ramp up Rage very quickly thereafter.
Even ignoring the most damage scaling broken jewels, the flexibility these add are great. With just two jewels i can add inc damage taken, culling strike, hinder, and knockback due the curses nodes and thats probably some of the most benign nodes. The concentration of defense/offense nodes have really cut down my travel nodes this league. Plus it allows me to connect to more life nodes that average 5%+ per node and give additional benefits. They will likely smooth out/nerd the broken nodes but even then it will still be a large power creep
Endbringer is insane with purposeful harbinger, I’m at 300% aura effect and 750% increased damage. I run groups and with my aura bot I instant phase awakened 8 Sirius
you missed the 300% increased damage with the first poison stack that 9 times 2700%increased poison damage and pathfinder poison prolif would be disgusting
Actually a good large jewel with 3 notable and 2 jewel slot + 2 megalomaniac is gayer than that (megalo with same notables in the large cluster) saves the point rather than going blank through voices
With the passive you save by running voices (save 3-7 passives) and Megalomaniacs (save 2 per) you could reach another cluster. It's kinda annoying to know GGG did this intentionally so they can nerf it later, have a nerf planned from the start but not sharing what the nerf will be.
+1 impale stacking (though not as strong because on a large) Prismatic dance/carapace for lots of max res. Though it isn't as broken as heralds with purities Feast of flesh 10 life on hit, with an herald vd build, you get about 60 instant life per hit per enemy, with an 8 aps cyclone, you're already at 8% life per second per enemy, so you can roll towering threat which gives 5%life/10% aoe on both aoe damage and life jewels, which gives you 120% inc aoe/60%max life on 6 pair of jewels. (And also 18% character size) Not stacking nor op but unaffected by poison chaos notable + golden rule (+ reverse chill setup)(+chaos res is doubled anoint and ele damage to chaos for easy 85% chaos res on poison build).

there's a curse notable that makes curses hinder for 30% reduced moves speed and adds 10% curse effect with enough stacking id say 3 and let's see bane with temp chain and enfeeble and with the passive stacking you'll get - 90% hinder from the notable and some where around 150-200 % curse effect after the small cluster 25%+ skill effect and you'l be cursing things into oblivion 100% reduced speed 30 to 50 % reduced action speed to uniques and 100% reduced action speed to everything else 30 to 50 % reduced damage for uniques 100% reduced damage of non uniques not to mention the despair curse and an occultist with 2 doedre's damning can have a total of 5 curses linked to bane for like +200% damage +250% duration of bane yeah curse stacking seems pretty busted when you can weaponize it. not to mention the chaos large clusters you can stack in just getting the curses online

how are you getting 9 medium jewels in your tree exactly? you have 3 voices? i think it's okay if there's a broken build or 2 if it costs 2-3 mirrors to build and you have to use a ton of passive points traveling to the cluster sockets and then on the actual, you know, jewels, so you can't easily tack it on to existing builds at no cost. Basically, the people who could afford to build this are already running around with hh and perfect watcher's eyes, guys like Empyrian and his team who have a crazy 16h/day 7-man rotation. I'm not too worried about this kind of power creep. The more significant power creep is if it completely breaks easy, common builds. It definitely makes a lot of those builds better, but I don't believe it has warped the meta too badly, so far.
I have found that precise commander lined with precise retalistion gives ridiculous amounts of cit chance and multi, worse thing is that it stacks on allies meaning people can get way past 1000 crit chance and 300+ crit multi, jumping to 700+ or so crit multi if they block.

Some builds can't even benefit from jewels though. Like I'm running a Cobra Lash build and there's just no space on it to slap in a cluster jewel of any kind.
Well those did seem broken. I feel like GGG just had an oversight with allowing us to stack the same notables. Similar to a league or 2 ago when we could stack affixes with same stats. Guessing its too late for them to fix, although i think on Baeclast they said they fixed the herald ones, not sure if they were referring to this loophole or a different one.
Yes and no, some notables are way stronger than other for example the notables that affect auras are pretty meh, meanwhile endbringer is an automatic 125% damage increase if you're running all 5 herald skills (and that number will go up if GGG adds more heralds down the line).
the herald fhix they talked about was a bug that allowed another notable that granted herald buff effect to increase the max virulence stack granted by herald of agony, which was not intended.
@@chrisklooz9538 One of Elementalist's notable (Mastermind of discord) gives 25% herald mana reservation. That brings each herald down to 19%. 19% x 5 = 95% so you can still cast stuff.
I would think that the Caos Damage over Time Multiplier has a lot of strong Notes too. Example being Low Tolerance: 8% Damage over Time Multiplier and Poison you Inclioct on Non-Poisoned Enemies deal 300% increased damage. Stacking 3 of These would mean 900% Increased Damage and 24% Over Time. Combined with Bino's Kitchen Knife could be very good. Circling Oblivion should also be very good.
or with a pathfinder and then u can use fossil crafted claws (60% chance for poisons with this weapon to deal 100% more damage) so with pathfinder u can have 100% more damage all the time with 900% increased damage of first poison xD
Did you do it with scourge arrow and poison proliferation though? Cause poison proliferation is necessary. Also, GGG recently patched it. In the patch, they said that it wasn't functioning properly before, and now they have changed it. So, it may be that it wasn't actually working properly on your build.
@@James-wu2hf Nah, I went something hipster worthy. Earthquake pathfinder proliferation. Had great mob clear but meh single target. But if it wasn't working full that'd make a lot of sense since sometimes my damage seemed to strangely disappear.

If anyone knows, does infusion work on pre or post conversion phys damage? As in, if I'm running cyclone CoC/CwC bladefall, since both have the phys tag, will that also affect the damage after conversion? I'm not sure how all that works.
Protip, they are never worth it really. But if you add mediums, now we are talking. And on top of that adding smalls ones. Then you are really dipping into value. But as long as you just go for 1 large, its just meh.
Does someone know if *unique* cluster jewel keystones stack? Like can you get multiple Hollow Palm Techniques or Nature's Patiences? Would be pretty insane ...
I found it strange onde poe ninja, gess it is a bug. I really like the crafting part of these jewels. I expect that this issue get patched someday, as stacking the same passive is too much of a burden to balancing to keep it that way.
Cluster Jewels are a sweet, if a bit overpowered, addition to the game. But the venue for getting them is complete ass and Delirium is on my short list for most annoying/frustrating leagues. Which is just compounded by the huge performance drop this league. I went from 144 fps at all times during Metamorph to routinely going sub 30 fps.
The more auraeff-ectiveness you have, the more certain Debuffs and Degens can affect you. Just keep that in mind. Because GGG is dumb and made them Auras and didn't code them seperately
i really like this league but they should make this crazy jewels not stackable, this harbringer jewel makes some builds SPECIALLY SUPPORT BUILS, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to overpowerd. u can just run arround with a mana guardian that has some defensive auras and a normal supp with off auras with both guys abusing this shit with like 400-500% aura effekt thats just beyond stupid. you could run grace with like idk .. 20-30k flat evasion radiant faith probably buffing 10-15k amour too, than a determination aura thats buffs like 200-250% more amour so a carry with ZERO investment in evasion or amour with (annoint iron reflexes) would run arround with like 150-200k amour. i played a low life rf mana guardian once with 60-70k amour, physical damage with 150k amour would be a total joke.
Maybe they should change it that multiple cluster jewels have diminishing returns? Idk I don't know enough about this game to know how to bring this back in line, or even if it should be.

the problem are not the well balanced stackable cluster nodes but the broken once, in my toxic rain build I can QUADRUPLE my dps with cluster jewls with aprox. 5ex cost

I'm playing Explosive Arrow Ballista's, I have 9 totems because I've stacked totem cluster jewels with the "Sleepless Sentries" mod and it's awesome.
Maybe try stacking Blowback notables? It grants: "Ignites you Inflict deal damage 15% faster."

I dont think the movement speed penalty works that way. Pretty sure its a Boolean yes/no to hinder, multiple hinders dont stack the speed reduction.

Agreed. Builds costing several mirrors should feel godlike. Otherwise there'd be no "ultimate goal" to work towards.

Some builds can't even benefit from jewels though.
Like I'm running a Cobra Lash build and there's just no space on it to slap in a cluster jewel of any kind.
The fact that identical notables can stack is what makes this busted

Well those did seem broken. I feel like GGG just had an oversight with allowing us to stack the same notables. Similar to a league or 2 ago when we could stack affixes with same stats. Guessing its too late for them to fix, although i think on Baeclast they said they fixed the herald ones, not sure if they were referring to this loophole or a different one.
Yes and no, some notables are way stronger than other for example the notables that affect auras are pretty meh, meanwhile endbringer is an automatic 125% damage increase if you're running all 5 herald skills (and that number will go up if GGG adds more heralds down the line).
the herald fhix they talked about was a bug that allowed another notable that granted herald buff effect to increase the max virulence stack granted by herald of agony, which was not intended.

@@chrisklooz9538 One of Elementalist's notable (Mastermind of discord) gives 25% herald mana reservation. That brings each herald down to 19%. 19% x 5 = 95% so you can still cast stuff.
I would think that the Caos Damage over Time Multiplier has a lot of strong Notes too. Example being Low Tolerance: 8% Damage over Time Multiplier and Poison you Inclioct on Non-Poisoned Enemies deal 300% increased damage. Stacking 3 of These would mean 900% Increased Damage and 24% Over Time. Combined with Bino's Kitchen Knife could be very good. Circling Oblivion should also be very good.
or with a pathfinder and then u can use fossil crafted claws (60% chance for poisons with this weapon to deal 100% more damage) so with pathfinder u can have 100% more damage all the time with 900% increased damage of first poison xD

Did you do it with scourge arrow and poison proliferation though? Cause poison proliferation is necessary. Also, GGG recently patched it. In the patch, they said that it wasn't functioning properly before, and now they have changed it. So, it may be that it wasn't actually working properly on your build.
@@James-wu2hf Nah, I went something hipster worthy. Earthquake pathfinder proliferation. Had great mob clear but meh single target. But if it wasn't working full that'd make a lot of sense since sometimes my damage seemed to strangely disappear.
You just don't get 9 Medium notables dude. You would need to path towards 3 outer sockets for that and it's with Voices.

Not to mention you can 6-Link sentinels of purity with 0% mana reservation on Elementalist with only 2 heraldry notables (or 4 for other classes).

If anyone knows, does infusion work on pre or post conversion phys damage? As in, if I'm running cyclone CoC/CwC bladefall, since both have the phys tag, will that also affect the damage after conversion? I'm not sure how all that works.

Ive been playing BV chieftain this league and i havent seen a single cluster jewel worth the points.
Protip, they are never worth it really. But if you add mediums, now we are talking. And on top of that adding smalls ones. Then you are really dipping into value. But as long as you just go for 1 large, its just meh.
build 1 large 8 points + 2 medium 4-5 points , + 2 small 2-3 points... and u`ll get more damage than from the regular tree
Easy fix would to do a demising return or just you can't stack them at all.

I found it strange onde poe ninja, gess it is a bug. I really like the crafting part of these jewels. I expect that this issue get patched someday, as stacking the same passive is too much of a burden to balancing to keep it that way.

I'm yet to have a second of performance issues in this game in over 6 years aside from known issues given totally a server-side issue. Strange.

Cluster Jewels are a sweet, if a bit overpowered, addition to the game. But the venue for getting them is complete ass and Delirium is on my short list for most annoying/frustrating leagues. Which is just compounded by the huge performance drop this league. I went from 144 fps at all times during Metamorph to routinely going sub 30 fps.
The more auraeff-ectiveness you have, the more certain Debuffs and Degens can affect you. Just keep that in mind. Because GGG is dumb and made them Auras and didn't code them seperately
This is being fixed in the patch at the end of the week. 3.10.1

i really like this league but they should make this crazy jewels not stackable, this harbringer jewel makes some builds SPECIALLY SUPPORT BUILS, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to overpowerd.
u can just run arround with a mana guardian that has some defensive auras and a normal supp with off auras with both guys abusing this shit with like 400-500% aura effekt thats just beyond stupid.
you could run grace with like idk .. 20-30k flat evasion radiant faith probably buffing 10-15k amour too, than a determination aura thats buffs like 200-250% more amour
so a carry with ZERO investment in evasion or amour with (annoint iron reflexes) would run arround with like 150-200k amour. i played a low life rf mana guardian once with 60-70k amour, physical damage with 150k amour would be a total joke.
Maybe they should change it that multiple cluster jewels have diminishing returns?
Idk I don't know enough about this game to know how to bring this back in line, or even if it should be.
just make it so the same notables don't stack, or to simplify it for players make it so you cannot slot two cluster jewels with the same notables

sounds boring, most notables arent broken, even most mentioned here are balanced with small tweaks.

bacause of this kind of videos ... devs are killing all interesting mechanics in the game, why u call its broken? ur brain is broken, not the jewels... u cannot drop it in harb bridge..its pretty rare , and it should worth it.otherwise nobody gonna use it.and rip clusters.
the problem are not the well balanced stackable cluster nodes but the broken once, in my toxic rain build I can QUADRUPLE my dps with cluster jewls with aprox. 5ex cost
@@FlutterDashie only 5 ex? dont forget that u need sacrifice around 25 nodes to build full clusters tree. i`ve tested my poison bv damage via POB. regular build with clusters...cluster has more damage but not quadruple .. around 70%

Would be cool if they changed it to not stack... a new league shouldnt be this meta breaking and u pretty much have to abuse these broken mechanics to be able to run 100% delirius maps x_X
