  • In this episode, we welcome the one and only Voddie Baucham to the show. He is a Reformed pastor, author, church planter, and sought-after speaker. He is also the Dean of Theology at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia who received his M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a D.Min. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and did his post-graduate study at Oxford. He has written many incredibly important books, such as Fault Lines: The Social Justice Movement, Evangelicalism's Looming Catastrophe and Family Shepherds: Calling and Equipping Men to Lead Their Homes, and his latest book called Ever-Loving Truth: Can Faith Survive in a Post-Christian Culture. In this interview, we discuss why he got into Brazilian jiu-jitsu, the difference between Christianity in America and Christinity in Africa, why the culture is waging a war again Truth, how religious relativism, “tolerance”, and philosophical pluralism is eroding the foundations of Christianity in the West, why Christians must draw a line in the sand and stand up for Christ, how he personally like to share the Gospel, where modern Christians have gotten the idea that Christianity is supposed to be free from pain and struggle, how the concept of “Ethnic Gnosticism” plays into the degradation of our culture, how he feels about racial tokenism in the modern American church, how the lack of true biblical manhood is aiding in our culture downfall, and much more. This is fantastic. Mr. Baucham is one of, if not my favorite preachers. James White, Bob Morey(deceased) and RC Sproul(deceased) are also up there.
