And so you don’t have to take your hands away from your knitting, you can click the mic on the right and tell it to go to the next row/round or even to go back.

You can also create highlight bars for your size and stitch counts, and or create a highlight, set it to opaque and block out sections that don't pertain to what you are knitting instead of using the scribble tool to circle your size or x out.

A wee note about lace charts: I really like them when working in the round, but when I am working flat, my brain gets scrambled by the knits and purls. When working flat, I'm much happier reading the text lace pattern. I use @Melmakesstuff 's technique of setting up a paper grid. Old -fashioned but it does the trick.

With kC you can have your row marker change color to remind you of rs and ws. And magic markers to color rs and ws stitches differently.

I've been using the free version for the past year or so. I'm considering upgrading to the paid version to be able to access some of the other tools you covered in this tutorial. Question: you mentioned using the app on your phone and picking up where you left off from your i-pad. I use a Samsung Chrome laptop and a Samsung Galaxy phone. I noticed that the app on my phone does not sync up with the app on my laptop. Will that change if I upgrade on the app, or is it the difference between Apple and Android products? Thanks for the tutorial!😊

Thanks for a great tutorial! but how do you (or anyone else) get your finger drawings so sharp? When I try to draw a line or circle with my finger, it looks like I did it with my eyes closed :-) So I end up using highlighter instead, but I'd love to be able to "write" my notes in KC. Is there a trick?

    • @KnittyNatty
