As a youth, I thought Greenwood and Archer was where the bums hung out. I was ignorant. I'm proud, as a Tulsan, that this ugly part of our history has finally come to light.

I'm so glad to learn this, especially after the ladies were denied reparations by an Oklahoma court. So many people lost their lives, their property, their businesses, and those that escaped had to start from scratch. Even the insurance companies refused to honor their claims. Their properties were looted and burned to the ground.

I'm so glad to learn this, especially after the ladies were denied reparations by an Oklahoma court. So many people lost their lives, their property, their businesses, and those that escaped had to start from scratch. Even the insurance companies refused to honor their claims. Their properties were looted and burned to the ground.

I had to learn about this massacre from The Watchmen. I was deeply affected how they could keep this info out of history books.
