This is Southridge as I remember! In this era it was still hanging onto those canopies that mirrored Northridge. When I was really young I thought the Times Square shop was the real Times Square. Thank you for this trip!
I was just here last night. It's probably been 3 years since my last visit and wow how things have changed. I always remembered that mall busy as heck but there was hardly anyone there yesterday. It's sad to see Southridge start to go downhill now too.
I really miss when Southridge used to look like that. It was even better when they still had all the fountains in the food court and center court areas. Now it's just so bland and ugly.
Thats right around the time I was going there almost every day for driving school at Sears (yes that was a thing lol) I really miss the old look. But I guess theyre keeping the place alive when almost every other mall is on their last legs, so what do I know?
ericreiter It's not you lmao; seeing how the mall used to look all those years ago and how much it has changed since just gives me a depressing nostalgic feeling, so many stores have closed and been replaced, I don't know it's just strange/sad to see again
Thank you for uploading this. My mom would take me here all the time as a kid and this is exactly how I remember it.

I was just there recently, and that shop is still there.
In this video, the mall looks a lot cooler than it is now

Such a major throw back, I miss the big era of malls, now southridge ain’t even a shadow of its former self..
And sadly we're losing it
Before remodeling it looked exactly like northridge 😥
I was just here recently. I wonder why they got rid rid of the trees and those metal structures in the center court?
Yeah they made some weird choices. Maybe they wanted to "modernize" ?
