Rampage 2: Universal Tour was developed by Avalanche Software, published by Midway, and released for the PlayStation in March, 1999 (NA). I love the Rampage series. These games are my go-to therapy when work pisses me off!

I wish they would make a new one, with pvp mode where you gotta get the most damage of the other players and could have brawls against the other players. Even an online mode where you can play online. It would be cool to have it traditional rampage game and then also have a modern open world style rampage, that isn't 2d. That would be the dopest.

V.E.R.N.'s name is an acronym, it stands for Violently Enraged Radioactive Nemesis.

I loved these games growing up, and the gameplay cant be any more "Repetitive" then always having to grind to raise your level or get better gear or loot

I remember the first rampage game I played. When I was younger, I went to a pizza place where it only had a few arcade games and 2 pinball machines. One of the games there was the original version of Rampage. I really liked it and I played it whenever I went to there untill they got rid of the arcade machines and pinball machines

The arcade version of Rampage World Tour is the best by default because you can play 3 players, unlike the PlayStation and Sega Saturn versions. But the PlayStation version of Rampage 2: Universal Tour is the best because it has cutscenes and have the entire soundtrack.

I used to have Rampage 2 for the Gameboy Color of all things and eventually got Rampage Through Time for the PS1. Even back then when I was a kid I could see how repetitive the games got but they were fun for what they were

I wish Total Destruction had robots and aliens to fight and more power ups and better abilities for specific monsters like in Universal Tour.

Itd be more fun if extra players could opt in or ggpo without dedicating two players from a new game

I didn't know there was a sequel to World Tour til today. Don't know why, but something about the monster design of Universal Tour looks off compared to WT...

I spent a ridiculous amount of time playing World Tour with my friends when I was a kid. There’s nothing like breaking buildings with the homies and then just randomly deciding to sock them in the face for kicks

Surprisingly not as bad as it could have been. Threw the source material out the window, though.
