@ o dear…every Eurasian has their own recipe so the taste varies…a lot of people also cook Devil with bacon bones/pork/sausages/whatever remaining protein they have, some put cabbages etc…and they swear the taste is so much better than if cooked with chicken. Basically its flavourful considering the number of ingredients used and it has to be spicy and you can taste the vinegar…don’t fret…if you’re going to use chicken & want to try this recipe…you need to follow the ingredients and method “exactly” and it will taste fantastic. Any part where you change…it will mess up the taste, so good luck!
Hi, no specific time. I put it usually after the chicken & potatoes are in and gravy is boiling. Sometimes I even put a tablespoon of cili powder. I do this to other Eurasian curries/sambal too bcoz chillies we get are not red enough 😆
I’ve seen some use turkey, sausages, leftover meat…I’ve personally not eaten anything other than chicken in Curry Devil …but nope…definitely not seafood 😅

Oh yay!! LOL Pepper brinjal is an easy one but yup no video yet. There’s a Soy Li Mang recipe which we make with brinjals too, that’s also yummy
