Oh I see. Very good. We have lots of different accents here in the US too, but you seem to have more variety in the UK considering the relatively small geographical area.
15:39 I rather suspect that, for that last sketch, Tate wrote it as her pushing HIS chair down, before unions got involved, and production refused the extra money to bond him in case he fell or hurt himself. So she took the fall, which is not as funny as if she’d done it to him. Suits: always there to ruin creativity.
Well they're intended to be watched in separate episodes as part of a show. So it actually ends up being more like a running joke if you were to watch the show.
You just can't do humour like this anymore. I have been both sexually assaulted (actually was worse than that) AND have suffered with OCD since I was a child, so, 40 years now, and am on 300mg fluvoxamine daily for the rest of my life, and I honestly found every segment hysterical. In fact, the OCD one was my favourite. Why can't we laugh and have comedians like this anymore.. Stupid virtue signallers, Pollyannas and politically correct ruining it for the rest of us, when the majority of the world is normal and knows how to take a joke.
She is genius, all of her characters are so hillarious. I can watch them again and again always make me laugh.
The one about sexual harassment is one of the funniest sketches I've ever seen. The moment when Martin says "Every 38 minutes?" is priceless!
Her accent is so spot on. Ive never heard anyone imitate it this well.
Where is her accent from? Ireland? Forgive me, I'm American. Haha...
Steven DuVall Newcastle in england! it’s called the Geordie accent 😁

As a born and bred Geordie myself, her accent isn't the canniest Geordie accent, in fact she's mostly erring into a Mackem accent, poor lass.
@@alisonsmith4801 I agree with you
She's hilarious 😂 and her accents brilliant, one of the best comedians around...
Catherine Tate is the best female comedienne ever. Love her comedy sketches, always makes me laugh.. xx ❤

Did her eczema put everyone off their sausage rolls? 😂😂😂

Chinned by the Mrs and Bummed by the Boss are the best
This was back in the days when ANY sketch that included the expression "www.anything" got a laugh.
I don't think you've quite grasped the gravity of the situation Martin...
We need her Comedy Sketches back!
No we don't. They were racist and offensive.
Richard Lumsden plays the perfect foil for her character....... "Oh. Another one."
Sitting on the cashiers face. Howling 😂
Chinned by the MISSIS! AHAHAHA.
I have OCD and find the OCD fundraiser funny.

No she didn't. That's how it was written.
After the first 6 they start to start to seem formulaic.

@@EfHaichDee That's how I watched it but my opinion was the same then. To me it's just self-plagariasm.
@@arcticflower7223 her comedy on this show is very formulaic. i love all of her characters, but individually they're usually on loop
thats the point of a sketch ha

Family Guy manages do use the same things-you-wouldn't-say-in-real-life humour but somehow so much more elegantly.
There is nothing remotely elegant about Family Guy...
Okay USAmerican. I’m sorry that you struggle with the subtlety of British humour.
