While the attempt to make vehicles in GoldSrc is commendable; the engine is clearly made for handling mostly square levels, and mapping any sensible curves or elevation with brushes would make it go crazy. Even in Source, while there are displacements, making any sort of a road with provided tools is a nightmare. Tilted curves, inclined curves, varying road width (god forbid, a combination of multiple) are basically impracticable. That's a bummer, since there's a great addon for Garry's Mod that makes driving actually enjoyable (if you find a good spacious map and right car config). _nerd mode has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer_
If you made this 15 years ago, Valve would have bought this mod's rights and made a really good car racing game with it

i think in source a good compromise is using models. Their collision can be quite complex
