I went to Provo at 17 too and I know first hand. Its a living hell. I too was tortured, brainwashed and abused in every way. I wanted to commit suicide when I returned home. No one ever believed me. I've been carrying this around for 14 years. Finally!!!! Someone comes out with the truth. Thank you Paris!!!
Don’t be sorry. You’re putting yourself in the victims/survivors shoes. Compassion and empathy can be hard to find now a days especially for victims/survivors. Paris is right boarding school abuse should not exist. Education needs to be upright, and encouraging. Paris went through an experience no one should have to endure.
Provo canyon "school" has nothing to do with education. Boarding school is a euphemism in this case. Nothing similar to a place like Andover for example
@Mike Studmuffin bs people were raped there and so much more theres others who came up and said they went to the school to and even said what shes saying is true. It didnt make her stand up back on her feet in fact it made her rebel more and make this persona. Its not a normal education system if the staff fondles thighs while students are sleeping, sexually assualt them, rape them, make sure they dont speak with their parents, isolation, bad diets, there was a review on it and one of the people who commented said a girl was on solitary confinement there and because of the bad diet there the student turned yellow and something else. That school does not care about the students. Drugs everyday will do more physical damage

I blame her parents! As a parent why would you allow a school to take care of your daughter where you’re only allowed to speak with her once every couple of months?! As a parent you should trust no one with your child! You should be with them everyday and have an honest and open communication where they feel safe to tell you everything!
I read her story in People. I am sure that are boarding schools with caring staff, and students that leave with fond memories. I think her parents went too far with the discipline over harmless teenage behavior.
This! My daughter was in the children’s hospital psych ward on lock down for behavior, but I still was able to talk to her whenever she wasn’t in programming and visit her daily. How could her parents allow contact to be cut off only to later say they didn’t know what was going on?
They legally have to say that until its proven. Since she isn't going to court it may be referred to as 'alleged' for a long time. It doesn't mean they don't believe it.
@@maticbukovac6966 I assume people would know what boarding school she is referring to though or at least it would be quite easy to find out. It's libel to say it happened if it hasn't been proven.
Lol, so claims of "abuse" becomes nothing more than bad experiences at a stricter-than-usual school. No corporal punishment, no sexual abuse, no nothing. I guess she needed to cook up some controversy to regain media attention. This is particularly convenient because I almost forgot Paris existed lol.
ive been to a school like this. you say shame on her parents for "shipping her off" yet im willing to bet $ that sending her to that school was a recommendation given by a professional. There are schools all around labelled therapeutic boarding schools that are exactly what she described, and there were students there claiming it was abuse. personally, i think someone who yells abuse after getting yelled at at school daily should just be grateful they've never experienced real abuse. shes obviously coming out w this BS now because her B-list celebrity status is falling
@@ApolloGray just because you are unable to empathize with someone else's pain and suffering doesn't mean it wasn't true for them. It obviously traumatized her and teachers CAN be bullies and some take the job for the power and control. It was abuse to HER and psychologically damaged her. We've sadly lost the ability to put ourselves in others shoes in this world. I find this absolutely horrific and no child should go through this.
@@SS-cd6ie did u read the first line i wrote bud? Ive had a similar experience, at the school people were even physically and sexually abused. Im just saying she's saying this now and doing it in public which can be beneficial but can certainly be detrimental.
@@ApolloGray you also said ppl who have been yelled at should be grateful they haven't experienced real abuse. Just BC someone didn't experience your type of abuse doesn't mean it wasn't real. Further you are saying she's coming out with BS. If she chooses to share her trauma why is it bs. Maybe she doesn't want to keep it a secret any longer
faith hengels I’m not sure. It was Utah. I and she was told they were going on a ski trip and they did. Then they tossed her in there for 3 years. She was abused daily.
Let's just say people in this elite lifestyle are most likely Satanists and enjoy torturing there children. They even sacrifice some. Paris could be a twin!
I believe her. My mom was sent off to boarding school when she was around the same age & nuns would beat her with steel rulers. Pretty horrific shit, so Paris gets my 1 free pity-for-the-rich ticket this year. Now don’t ask me for another one until 2021.
Alot of super rich people have skeletons in the closet. She revealed one. All people rich or poor deserve compassion and empathy. Don't hate them coz u ain't them
Your so pathetic because she has money she's not worthy of empathy from other human beings. Maybe you need the spend the rest of 2020 reprogramming how you think. And maybe 2021 will be a great year for all us because less unnecessary negativity from people like you.
Ha ha, I think many more will come out about abuse stories, The Kardashians are friends with Paris so is Drew Barrymore who was locked away two years!I hope your free pity cards is a full deck!
..also Paris speaking out is helping many many others both past and present, it's not just about her and even if it was being abused no matter what wealth you have and the scars and effects can last a lifetime. Its great she us speaking up and focusing a light for all who suffer abuse
Wow! Shocking to know this coming from a billionaire. Really sad to hear her story of her childhood troubles. I had some troubles in the Christian school at 17 years old. The teacher/principal verbally abusing me and physically hitting me at times. Grabbing me to the ground and hitting me on the back. Disgracing me in front of others. It was terrible for me, but thankfully God took care of him after I left the school. God help you Paris to heal your inner wounds.
Oh it's the rich who can only afford to send their kids off to abusive brainwashing units. Many rich use to send kids to a drug rehab called straight even if kid only drank once. Screwed the kids up in their capacity for 1-2 years. The government eventually shut them down for the abuse
@@patriceb1274 Yes Patrice, God took care of me while I was abused and humiliated. Then the fate happened to him after I left the school. There is forgiveness for everyone. I forgave him for the treatment he gave me which was unfair.
I’m so glad you didn’t let what Satan meant for harm turn you from God. Sounds like God turned things around for good like he always does after humans use free will to sometime unknowingly cause harm to their children. I am glad she spoke out to end the cycle and prevent it in the future, but I hate that worse things like human trafficking are still happening right now everywhere. Thank you for sharing and let’s keep praying, believing and speaking. ❤️
I had a boyfriend who went to one of these schools. Like military style. He told me he slept on the cement alot and it seemed like he had ptsd because he was never the same. The school shut down a few years later
My ex also went to military school and he hated his parents for it. He tried escaping only to be sent back. And yes it was shutdown. These schools should never exist.
My heart goes out to victims of abuse. I think this is brave of her to come out. It will be great if she can chanel this experience and become an advocate for kids who are placed in these horrible situation. These same kids will be members of our communities. They will be future parents, future neighbor, future leaders of the community. They need resources to deal with their traumas so they can find healing and not tend to pass on their inner chaos to their spouse, children, co- workers, neighbors, constituents and others.
Everything is true. I was in one 20 minutes away from her... same situation,.. the programs were shut down and reopened under a different names... That's how they keep going is that they just fire a few people put all the blame on them and then do the paperwork under a different name. But it was as horrific as she said and there were some that were even more horrific including mine
Even movies about boarding schools portray it has one hell of a place. And I'm sure añot of things are left out. Who knows how many generations of people went through this kind of abuse?
I was molested by a school teacher when I was in fourth grade. There are monsters in schools, especially boarding schools. Communicate and educate your child about sex, don’t send them off to boarding schools, if you do, pick them up on weekends, if your kid doesn’t go to boarding schools, still, make sure that they are educated on sex from an early age, tell them what’s normal and what is not
I believe her. Something similar happened to my special needs brother...the teacher bullied him and put him in solitary confinement. We had no idea why he didn’t want to go to school. So glad we took him out
@@RA82828 Honestly, I don't really care about her at all. But I heard about the school she went to, and it is messed up. Also, its her life as well I think she still human after all, with drama or not. Have a nice day :))

I feel bad about making fun of Paris Hilton, back in the late 90's/early 2000's... whenever she had a show. It was easy to believe she was an entitled heiress who never had to work and never suffered. In reality, she suffered more than I did and I came from a somewhat abusive background. I'm sorry, Paris, for doing that. You came out of it magnificently, all considered.
It’s crazy!!! I was in a school for trouble teens in Covina CA and they would put me in solitary confinement till they broke my clavicle on day ., it was horrible . The nurse called my mother and ask her to come pick me cus I was crying . They didn’t mention I was jumped by a teachers aid. I alway wondered what happened to that school .. I don’t blame the person that worked there cus that was that’s how they were trained.... my child hood is full incidents like this ..I’m just glad i blocked out most of them ..
AnonyMUSE pop culture public figures don’t get much bigger than the two ladies i just mentioned... there’s enough room for everyone to be celebrated and acknowledged
This is hard to listen to . When I was teen I was really skinny. My older brother was bigger ( 6’4”, 300lbs ), and took out all his penned aggression from football and school out on me, literally beat me constantly. He was the football player my parents took up for and bragged about, so they did nothing to stop him. I stayed away from home on my bike and then car until early morning and then wouldn’t go to to school because I was tired from not sleeping. My dad was a judge, and had U.S. Marshals come in my room in the middle of the night, put me in a caged prisoner transport car and take me to an out of state “ re-hab “ with chronic drug abusers, alcoholic kids, etc. , and the Dr. diagnosed me with paranoia and depression ( I was getting the shit beat of me at home ), of course I’d be a nervous wreck. The Dr. there would diagnose whatever the person’s insurance would pay for, and say you’re ready to go home when the insurance ran out. So going back to the same situation, it was a repeat cycle of this FIVE times. I finally got my GED and joined the military at 17 just to get the hell out, and prove to myself I wasn’t crazy, but the middle of the night snatching me up, has severely affected me in the military with insomnia and fear of going to sleep when it was crucial that get rest to continue our missions. My parents fuckd me up bad mentally doing that shit, and it was almost like they thought it was the thing to do to label me as mentally ill because didn’t go to school, never addressing I was getting beat up, so I stayed away from home until morning and then slept through the school hours from exhaustion. The hardest thing is one time when I was a teen, my dad went to a car dealer friend’s business, and the guy asked my dad “ this isn’t the football player, this is your trouble son ?” . How in the fck would you feel as a kid knowing that your parents had said that about you to their friends? It’s like they are promoting you to become a trouble kid, or convincing you to think you’re crazy. I can identify with this %100, and yea the Army became a closer family to me than my own. It fcking suks. . .
Naya Mun... I agree! I'm 40 and thank goodness I look so much younger but yeah, with the money, I would look even better... I mean... she has EVERYTHING. My name is Jenna Young. I was at Provo Canyon School with Paris. I disagree on her statement. The staff was not abusive. If you didn't follow structure you had disabling. And she didn't follow the rules a lot. I was there for a year. I was the only place that change my life around. With structure, therapy, rewards, and if you misbehaved they put you on a chair and you looked at the wall and thought about what you did. I don't feel Paris has the right to judge. She wasn't there for long. God bless.
@@DiamanteDea yeah, that is hurtful to hear. No one deserves that if it happened. I didn't witness it and I was there with Paris. Provo Canyon school saved my life. I felt I had say that.
I am so Proud of Paris for sharing this and being vulnerable .I think we all did assume we knew her and now, like many women they have the power to come out without being attacked as they feared. We support your strenght and Journey Paris. Much love. A sister.
About a week after my arrival I had a staff member at that school pull an entire unit of kids into a back room and told them to jump me because of an alleged stolen Barnes & Noble gift card which was later found in his desk. This happened immediately after the same staff member threatened to break my guitar over my head, but instead just broke it in front of me, I was also charged with restitution for the damage to the building he caused. This was in '09 at Provo Canyon School. Ahhh, what a warm welcome!
751 days of my life.... thank yiu for speaking about this Paris.... I heard about you during my time in provo.... I will never forget the abuses i saw and lived through. I need to tell my story.... 11 seconds into this and I'm bawling from feeling as though I am back in Provo... provo Canyon School, 6501 N. University Ave. Provo, Utah 84604... i will not stay silent for anyone else's comfort. There are still kids being traumatized like i was. Im 30 fucking years old and terrified of a place I left over a decade ago... Free Brittany...
I 100 percent believe her. My ex who is either a Narcissist or Psychopath attended boarding school from i think 7 and i think he graduated from there. I never asked. I was too afraid to ask because it was starting to become evident that if he indeed had attended from age 7, he was severely emotionally neglected and or abused, which would explain his mental illness. He's a scary, potentially dangerous Chamelion. Not saying she is that...not at all. But when one is traumatised in childhood, it can set them up for sabotaging behaviors or worse. This is a fact. You can trace many mental health diagnoses from childhood, sadly.
The thing is that whenever you’re at any school like, public private or boarding any abuse can happen. I was turned to an emotional wreck every school day all because I was screamed at, lied about and emotionally bullied by school teachers; the sickest parts about it was 1. I was around the age of 5-7 and it happened at the infant/junior school until I moved. 2. Because it was Christian their slogo was “Every child matters to God.” They really had a twisted way of showing it to me. One thing that kept me staying was my friends but no one should stay in a hell like that just for friends.
I've worked at a place similar... there wasnt abuse by staff but the staff was...loveless. the other clients were mean to each other. The was one little girl I was allowed to take to the store with me and stuff, I'd let her pick the music in my jeep (she always picked tech 9 or something "off limits") ... I o ly lasted a few months at that job, I couldn't help much, it broke me. That little girl still calls me btw when she gets a phone call. Paris's story at that school reminds me of her.
It's true it still haunts me living in boarding school was hard my wardens were too abusive making me feel bad about myself, yelling at our face it was hard really hard I completely changed as a person I stopped smiling I am no longer that happy person anymore though I try hard character is built and it's hard to change I gets mad at every little things because of all that trauma it's still in my head make me hate myself
This is sad I was abused to at school it was a horrible experience I’ll never forget I always fear what happens to these children in schools there is so much abuse they go through constantly and it isn’t right and needs to be stopped I wish Paris the best as well as anyone else going through this
First of all why was THE paris hilton in a freaking prison boarding school like tf those *people should have been arrested they have no right to do that to kids as they probably still are doing
My parents sent me to boarding school in a remote area because they didn't want me to be a day girl (Weird, because my three siblings attended secondary school from home). From the moment I stepped foot in that place, it was hell. Have you ever seen that movie The Magdalene Sisters? I went through some similar sh*t. Everyone was abusive, the senior students treated us as slaves, and the teachers didn't care much. The food they gave us couldn't feed an unborn foetus (Amazingly, the seniors were allowed decent portions despite paying the same amount in tuition). They physically punished us for the flimsiest of reasons, and I know for a fact some girls were sexually abused (One girl mentioned how a senior lured her into a private room and forced her to count her pubic hairs). I swear to God, that school turned me into a person I no longer recognised; I began to steal money from people to survive that place, and my parents knew but did nothing - my mother even said "I don't care if boarding school kills you, you'll remain there even if you die there." Years later, and all these stories are emerging, yet people have the nerve to tell me "It happened, you're not the only one... Deal with it." F*ck these institutions, I'm with Paris. They thought they were making us tough, but they damaged us for life. F*ck them.
"Alleges" in the title of this segment.....SHAME on you ET. How about empowering words like spoke out, empowered, bravery, shedding light, stand up, gave a voice to, came forward, found strength and survivor!!! Please educate yourself. "Alleges" is ugly, insensitive, minimizing, accusatory, demeaning and not okay!
Why on earth do they diminish her story by calling it alleged. This is her story. This is how she perceived what happened. The wording if alleged suggests that it may not be her perception. Ugh. Almost seems like victim blaming!
R a m where’s your proof of this? You throw around the snowflake insult when you don’t have anything better to say. Okay hypothetically in your instance imagine if she’s telling the truth? You think it’s okay to say that?
It’s sad, sickening, maddening and so much more that compassion and empathy can be hard to find now a days especially for victims/survivors because no one believes until the laws say so. But the law is often not right. And there are more victims who don’t report than those who report. Victims struggle to come forward because of age and/or being overwhelmed and distraught and/or they don’t think anyone will believe them and/or they don’t want to relive their trauma. Hopefully that’s all changing a bit now the more a famous victim/survivor brings it to the public but it’s impossible to stop. It’s like expecting a world of peace. No matter what the public believe, a good support system for victims/survivors is crucial. It’s time people learn to listen well way before they even think about judging.
B.S. I am a teacher at one of the facilities that is being slammed. We are not allowed to lay hands on kids. Employees are fired for such offenses.....no warnings, just fired. We are trained to deescalate situations and no one is ever touched unless they are harming themselves or others. I have a great rapport with my students and they know I genuinely care about them and their welfare! There will always be bad apples, that is the exception, not the rule. You should hear and see what we deal with everyday, and after being called every foul name in the book, death threats, spitting, scratching, we still do not put hands on. This makes me sick that this is being spread as if all of these facilities are abusive. They are not. Amazing people work with these youth and teens and actually make a huge difference in their lives. I know, because I work with amazing people!
Fact checking : everything she says is true (and worse). Wow. Other schools also abusing kids all over the U.S , Mexico and other places. Wow. Had no idea. Thought it was an “over dramatic “ reaction but no...it is about the abuse inflicted on innocent children (parents have no idea the cruelty involved or that it leaves these children with PTSD as adults. You shouldn’t need therapy after you get out to get OVER what they do to you. Heartbreaking . 💔
I am not surprised....she has created a fantasy world and hid behind the baby voice as a coping mechanism. I congratulate her for sharing her story ...and for making a Billion dollar Empire out of her pain ....smart girl.
I don't know about this things in America, but here in Mexico I have heard about like "teen summer camps" where they go to know how hard life is and reflect about things. One thing that I heard is that they have them sitting down in front of a table starving and asking for a glass of water for hours. I heard people saying that that was a way to straighten your life. But I always thought it was simply abuse.
i see many comments down below who stated they went through the same thing, all of them should start a Me Too movement for this school and go after them, otherwise more kids will suffer, i also suffered at boarding school run by nuns, it was more like bootcamp, and we paid top dollar to go there.
What was witness isn’t going to go undone those horrible people will be held accountable. It might not happen when we think it shall happen but they will be held accountable. Those stories brought me to tears so very sad.
having wealthy and fame doesn't preclude you from "life" and all it's ugliness ... except it sure makes it a hell of a lot easier when money can cushion the blow ...
Imagine abuse happening around public schools. Teachers watching abuse daily. And some teachers abuse too. Now imagine that in a closed environment labeled as a therapeutic school.
Unfortunately this is still very common. I’m not at all surprised. There are many schools and facilities like this. I knew so many who were sent there, I am lucky I avoided it and they even put them on pills that really mess them up, most of them either go crazy or end up committing suicide. So Paris Hilton is actually very strong to have come out of this, and to become this successful but it cost her her real persona. Like she says in the documentary, she put all her anger into her drive for success.
Oh please!!! This chick also shammed a lot kids and embarrass them. I guess she should have been a lot nicer to others! Could care less what happened to this broad! Poor me!! Pathetic.
i was at a sister facility in st george called cinnamon hills and the abuse is real i onced watched staff break a kids arm intentionally i will never forget the sound
I've always loved Paris Hilton and I always knew she wasn't dumb. Anyone with half a brain knows that SHE has more than half a brain. She's very intelligent and was obviously putting on a show and being a character..people are sadly very quick to assume that what you see is what you get. They rarely look deeper. And it's funny that back in the day Paris was considered slutty and everyone talked so much shit about her, but now days she would be considered on the classier side amongst popular females. I also respect when celebrities stay pretty low key like her, Nicole Richie, and Hillary Duff. Love them all.
My boarding school staff also did terrible things back then n i didnt know it was terrible n i didnt know what to do. They stole many things from me, my nokia e 90, iphone 3, ipad, scanner, etc and their defense was that because I put them recklessly i have to be taught to be more careful of my belongings. Yet they never returned my belongings.
The only issue I have is this school wasn't worried that they were breaking any laws so how is a bill that only limits what kind of restraints they can use going to stop them? They should just close it down, schools like this don't help kids they make everything worse.
How deranged must the parents be to put their kids into a school like this? I thought their mother was a caring and doting stay-at-home mother and wife but apparently she was just a lazy good-for-nothing lie about... how do you miss a thing like that? Your child talks to you every 3 months for 2 minutes and you think that is normal? Unless, there is smth Paris is not telling, which would be that she was a very badly behaved rebellious teenager breaking all the rules for a long time and they put her in this military-style reform school to straighten her act and not overdose on drugs.
I kind of doubt she was that bad. We didn’t hear anything about her being wild until after she was 18 and doing her own thing. I’ve seen it before. There are plenty of parents who will send their kids away for the smallest thing if it disrupts their vision of perfection. Even if it’s just a normal teenage rebellion. Mormon families are a great example, I’ve known them to tie up their daughters and drag them to a facility in the middle of the night for what they think they’re doing (sex, pot, etc.). Regardless what she did or didn’t do, it doesn’t warrant the abuse she suffered. That kind of treatment doesn’t help anything and if a kid actually is troubled, that won’t get to the heart of their issue. It’s obvious, especially in her case, that it causes more problems than it solves.
It happened to me 1990-92 cascade school, I think Paris was in Provo but they were the same company and “ program “ Very traumatic and yeah you question who you are and just have issues trusting people after . ❤️

In the name of "Medical /Social professionalism". Quite a socialist thing to do on the parents part eh?
This! My daughter was in the children’s hospital psych ward on lock down for behavior, but I still was able to talk to her whenever she wasn’t in programming and visit her daily. How could her parents allow contact to be cut off only to later say they didn’t know what was going on?
saying “alleged” is beyond rude and discrediting her and her story
They legally have to say that until its proven. Since she isn't going to court it may be referred to as 'alleged' for a long time. It doesn't mean they don't believe it.
Definitely feels that way for any victim even though it’s the law.
@@Confidentk9sCa oh I agree!
@@miacat5630 yeah, but she wasn't mentioning any specific names in this promo for them to be careful...
@@maticbukovac6966 I assume people would know what boarding school she is referring to though or at least it would be quite easy to find out. It's libel to say it happened if it hasn't been proven.
Shame on her parents for shipping her off to boarding school! Her parents couldn't be bothered....
I guarantee this happened. My best friend was sent to a school like this in Utah , and I bet it’s the same one.
Anything Grows Provo canyon?
faith hengels I’m not sure. It was Utah. I and she was told they were going on a ski trip and they did. Then they tossed her in there for 3 years. She was abused daily.
Let's just say people in this elite lifestyle are most likely Satanists and enjoy torturing there children. They even sacrifice some. Paris could be a twin!
I heard of this stuff constantly during my 10 years living in Utah and believe it or not SRA (Satanic Ritual Abuse) was involved almost every time.
I believe her. My mom was sent off to boarding school when she was around the same age & nuns would beat her with steel rulers. Pretty horrific shit, so Paris gets my 1 free pity-for-the-rich ticket this year. Now don’t ask me for another one until 2021.
So because she was born rich she should be excluded from normal human emotions ? Wow. You’re a piece of work.
Oh so the same god who allowed him to do this to you then took care of him???
@@patriceb1274 Yes Patrice, God took care of me while I was abused and humiliated. Then the fate happened to him after I left the school. There is forgiveness for everyone. I forgave him for the treatment he gave me which was unfair.
Abuse, disease, it doesn't discriminate against anyone. It can happen to anyone.
@@Jessica-to8um omg that's tragic. And true I totally agree with you. It's so sad, all these human sufferings.
I feel bad for her and anyone who has endured that kind of torment. I would definitely not do well in that type of environment.

“alleges”? she was. and so were many other children.
Yes I believe she is trying to help bring light to this craziness we know so are other kids that's why she has come public about this
Respect Paris!! It's good to see you being so real.
Everything she is saying is true and these places still exist. Help us shut them down!! #breakingcodesilence
So glad we took him out
She should name every staff member of the school. Sure there's more victims

It was easy to believe she was an entitled heiress who never had to work and never suffered. In reality, she suffered more than I did and I came from a somewhat abusive background. I'm sorry, Paris, for doing that. You came out of it magnificently, all considered.
Thank you, Paris Hilton for sharing this info. I was going to send my kid to boarding school, but thanks to you, I won't be.
It’s crazy!!! I was in a school for trouble teens in Covina CA and they would put me in solitary confinement till they broke my clavicle on day ., it was horrible . Before there was Kim K there was Paris, one of the greatest public figures of all time haha
AnonyMUSE pop culture public figures don’t get much bigger than the two ladies i just mentioned... there’s enough room for everyone to be celebrated and acknowledged
Kim K owes everything to Paris. Without Paris there would be no Kim K. (She was her 'stylist')
It fcking suks. . .
Every one of these abusive schools needs to be investigated and shut down ASAP. They do more harm than good.

God bless.
What about all the other victims coming out about the abuse?

congratulations for being honest!

Oh no that’s sad, hope she will be okay :(
I went through this exact thing when I was 17 at Falcon Ridge Ranch in Utah
Sad for her 😢
I 100 percent believe her.
I was turned to an emotional wreck every school day all because I was screamed at, lied about and emotionally bullied by school teachers; the sickest parts about it was
1. I was around the age of 5-7 and it happened at the infant/junior school until I moved.
2. Because it was Christian their slogo was “Every child matters to God.”
They really had a twisted way of showing it to me.
One thing that kept me staying was my friends but no one should stay in a hell like that just for friends.
Hope she has lead the way so other survivors come out and close that disgusting place down. Loves from NZ ❤️❤️❤️
Omg 2020 was the year for everything
It's true it still haunts me living in boarding school was hard my wardens were too abusive making me feel bad about myself, yelling at our face it was hard really hard I completely changed as a person I stopped smiling I am no longer that happy person anymore though I try hard character is built and it's hard to change I gets mad at every little things because of all that trauma it's still in my head make me hate myself
This is sad I was abused to at school it was a horrible experience I’ll never forget I always fear what happens to these children in schools there is so much abuse they go through constantly and it isn’t right and needs to be stopped I wish Paris the best as well as anyone else going through this
So sad. Poor girl. God bless her.
Hahahahahaha
and this didn’t even mention the sexual abuse which makes me so sick to my stomach
F*ck them.
What's sad is everyone gets bullied at some point in their lives.
*BUT 99.9999999% OF US GET NO JUSTICE AND WE DON’T GET RICH OR FAMOUS SO THAT PEOPLE CAN SOOTHE AND HEAL US AND PROTECT US FROM ANYMORE BULLYING.*

It was boarding school for troubled teens; what did she do for her parents to send her there?? 🤔
THAT is the main question and she is not confessing....
She said it was because she was sneaking off to go to clubs instead of school
R a m tf? She was abused. It doesn’t matter how rich you are? That’s not okay
Go get them Queen!
You see American is in pain!! We all need healing!
That's why there are a lot of reports online, long before she spoke, of people in similar situations. You are just as bad.
Yep, I was there from September 2001-March 2003. That place sucks balls.

For some reason I hate it when people use alleged when it comes to someone opening up about something..
To do that to a child is a crime
I don't know about this things in America, but here in Mexico I have heard about like "teen summer camps" where they go to know how hard life is and reflect about things.
One thing that I heard is that they have them sitting down in front of a table starving and asking for a glass of water for hours.
I heard people saying that that was a way to straighten your life. But I always thought it was simply abuse.
I love you Paris. I'm sorry you had to go through that. A similar thing happened to my nephew. It's real.
Shame on parents who leave their child to such schools.

i see many comments down below who stated they went through the same thing, all of them should start a Me Too movement for this school and go after them, otherwise more kids will suffer, i also suffered at boarding school run by nuns, it was more like bootcamp, and we paid top dollar to go there.

That documentary is so good
I love you paris ..
Oh please!!! This chick also shammed a lot kids and embarrass them. I guess she should have been a lot nicer to others! Could care less what happened to this broad!

The family have so much money, of all places to send their daughter!! There's other happier, healthier retreats they could've sent their daughter.
Or just put her in regular therapy truth is they just wanted to wash their hands of her and keep her from ruining their image
I looked it up and they need to shut that shit down!!!
Saint Paris ❤️
Those Boarding schools should be shut down....thats craxy...and parents...you should know more about where you are sending your child
It happened to me 1990-92 cascade school, I think Paris was in Provo but they were the same company and “ program “
Very traumatic and yeah you question who you are and just have issues trusting people after . ❤️
You have a feeling of emptiness.Poverty in the rich....

Why would a person in boarding school tell a staff member she was going to run away? I was in boarding school, I ran away. I got caught but not because I told Anyone!
Sheesh!
@Wynter Reign
In a way I got away with it I guess. I managed to get hundreds of miles to home again but my mom put me on a plane the next morning back there. So I didn't feel like I got away with it. What happened to you?
@Wynter Reign
I know. They preferred our peated grey skirts to almost touch our knee high socks!
