    A bit of a Necro post - Just picked up a Used Gen 1 Bolt System (uses a battery) in a VSR-10 clone. I was wondering what PSI do you run to get at least 2.3 joules (500 w/.20s) on your system? And what Weight Bbs do you use. I use .40s in my Spring Sniper Rifle and will probably do the same with the Bolt System.

      It all depends on barrel lenght, with my 650mm 6.01 85psi is 2.8j with .40. With stock 120psi is 2.8j with .40.

      @@UnitedRichmondAirsoft 2.8j with 85psi and the same 2.8j with 120psi?

      It depends on your build. Snag a chrono and do some testing to be sure

    What is the difference between wolverine bolt and wolverine bolt m? I was reading something about that the regular version had range from 60-160 psi or something while the M was up to 140 psi. Is this true? Does M become water resistant since no battery? Also where did you buy the JG BAR 10? Is it Gspec? Did you experience the problem where the bolt hit the scope?

    • @UnitedRichmondAirsoft
      @UnitedRichmondAirsoft  3 года назад

      Bolt M does not require a battery and the range is 80 to 180 psi. Tho I doubt you will go above 100psi for a good build

      M stands for mechanical, a few wolverine engines have this option like the Reaper, they are the preferred option on the team, less to manage

      @@UnitedRichmondAirsoft Thanks alot for the answer, it is however just as good right? Or is it maybe better with original?

    • @UnitedRichmondAirsoft
      @UnitedRichmondAirsoft  3 года назад

      @@mrfleak5215 I haven't used the original but I can tell you the M is beast, easy install, less to manage and i dont have to worry about a battery. I recommend the M, I was just talking yesterday to the team about the M versions and that we are waiting for the reaper M to be available. M is definitely the way to go.

      @@UnitedRichmondAirsoft Thanks for the help! I actually found a barely used one close to where i live but it was a regular bolt. This is the only reason im going for it, its super good price.
      If i randomly didnt find this, i wouldve gone for M so maybe next time! Thanks alot for clearing it up for me. Just one laaaast question xD(sorry).
      Do you know if there is any difference in loudness?

    Is HPA VSR more accurate and shoot further than spring VSR? Thanks

    • @UnitedRichmondAirsoft
      @UnitedRichmondAirsoft  Год назад +1

      I'd say HPA gives you more Joule Flexibility, Better Range/Power, and faster RPS. If you use the same hopup, barrel and bucking upgrades spring and HPA can be just as accurate

    Will this help me install that one, too?

    • @UnitedRichmondAirsoft
      @UnitedRichmondAirsoft  2 года назад +1

      You'll have to place the battery in the stock, other than that it's the same install
