That's also why it has a missing ear cause stray cats usually lose parts of their ears when fighting
The missing ear is also because vets can vaccinate stray cats and make a little cut in the ear to show that it's vaccinated
Seriously? I've never understood that at first but now it makes more sense...
FYI: In the U.S. at least, perhaps in other places, a clip at the top of the ear means that a cat has been TNR. Trapped, neutered, released. This is so they aren't caught for the same thing again.

My biggest core memory of Sneasler is from going up slight inclines and it constantly clinging on and hoisting me up every two feet. Not to mention if you are running through trees and it suddenly magnetizes to the closest vertical object. Stop it Sneasler, you're not helping! But I suppose it was cute being in the basket

I wasn't initially sold on Sneasler but the animations did it for me. It's a great example of how animation can make or break a Pokemon.
Also, I'd love a video on Hitoshi Ariga! As a fan of his Mega Man work and Pokemon Work he's quickly become one of my favorite designers in the series. Fun fact, Misdreavus is his favorite Pokemon, hence why we got Flutter Mane from him.
I'll always remember Sneasler from that one amazing rant by TheAmandeFiles. Sneasler does look like a cheerleader bully and I love her for it.
I thought Sneasler was terrible and cursed right up until I reached Coronet Highlands and met Lady Sneasler. She gave me one (1) Attitude and I did a complete 180.
Sneasler is the GOAT, she was on my team and named her Sneezeler, become the second MVP of my team.

Sneasler was one of the pokemon I used on my team in PL:A. When I first saw it, I wanted one on my team, and I got one, used it for the entire game. It helped me defeat Volo and Giratina. I saved Sneasler for Giratina, because all you have to do is spam Dire Claw, and it will take a while before Giratina could move. By the time Sneasler dies, Giratina will be greatly weakened. Sneasler helped a lot in that fight, I don’t know why people hate it.
"It's not like Weavile is getting replaced by Sneasler." True, they cooked up Chien-Pao to deliberately replace Weavile instead 😂
It makes me upset, yes. In order to remedy this, I suggest giving Weavile a great signature ability.

To be fair I prefer Sneasler over Weavile, never cared for Weavile design wise compared to Sneasel, I also love how Sneasler’s name reminds me of the Oncsler from the Lorax.
Same here, i've never really been a fan of the head crest on Weavile and always prefered the one long feather on Sneasel. The fact that sneasler just exaggerates that a little more and doesn't really change the design all that much makes me prefer it much more.
I like Weavile a bit more but like both

Every time I see a video that covers PLA or any of its Pokémon it has me praying we get more legends games in the future. They experience they offer are vastly different from any mainline game and too appealing to only be used once

I think mostly is because the Noble Sneasler with Ingo is mentioned to be female 🤷♂️ But like almost all Pokémon it can be whatever.
But yeah, I think the shiny is pretty neat.
Saying "legal" along with "female" and "furry humanoid pokemon" REALLY isn't a great combination

While I adore a lot of things about Sneasler. The BEST thing about that imo, is that they carry you in a box Nezuko style. That ALONE sold this pokemon for me

I've got a Sneasler I've been using for Online Battles in S/V and it has somehow been outperforming my Box Legendaries as a sweeper. Fling Toxic Orb/Poison Barb for Unburden into Flying Terra Acrobatics is really good.

Not only I wish that Sneasler gets Poison/Ice type, I also wish that all Sneaslers are around the same size as the Alpha. Come on, tall bipedal cat-weasels with large poisonous claws, and long arms & legs, and are taller than adult humans would be one of the coolest things to gaze upon.
At first, I didn't like Sneasler because I was just fond of Weavile but it grew on me. Even if I liked Sneasler on release then I wouldn't have place for it in my team because of Decidueye and Overqwil (which I also didn't like at first)
As someone whose favourite pokemon has been Weavile since Gen 4, I love the new family members. I just wish there were more double battles so I could tag team Weavile and Snealer
Also find it amusing how despite the massive difference in typings, it's still a dark tcg card.

Also why do you need to use 20 strong style Barb Barrages to evolve Hisuian Qwilfish? I get Stanter, they don’t want it to evolve outside of Hisui, but it’s a HISUIAN Qwilfish, not a normal one
I agree that it’s stupid for hisuian qwilfish to evolve with strong style and that’s not in SV because it should totally be able to evolve into overqwil just fine. I wish they just changed it so that in SV you only need to use Barb barrage 20 times instead of 20 times and strong style. They have no problem doing it for primeape with rage fist.

Love the Sneasler full art. It presents you with a snippet of a larger moment. The Sneasles were clearly playing on the plateau, and are now regarding the approaching Sneasler. Are they a family perhaps?

With a side ponytail and a fresh fuckin manny. She walks up to me, and I'm like "Who is this adult woman?" Like, this entrepreneur, this cheerleader this popstar who is she. Where's the pokemon is it behind the model?
Sneaslers are my new favorite Pokemon.

I think I would have rather it had been a piggyback ride, and it could have used a unique saddle that wraps around the torso and has supports for the legs. That said, I think the bag pack still works, and it could even allow Sneasler to carry heavier riders or even unconscious individuals in need of rescuing.
0:57 - Soon Silver is going to be coming out with a Sygna Suit with Sneasel as his partner, so Weavile is close to appearing in Masters at least. Looking forward to the day Sneasler is inevitably released (especially since I wanna see how they handle who is synced with her, since Ingo technically is).

my hot take is that hisuian sneasel is the best pokemon in that family. i think sneasler needed some sort of pattern on its torso, it feels plain and stretched out as it is, but hisuian sneasel is perfect, especially its shiny
To me Sneasler is just a more 'natural' evolution of Sneasel, the claws have more of a relationship to Sneasler and what it is all about, climbing but also striking and sinking poison into the opponent
This is certainly a take.

Honestly, I kinda like the pokemon introduced in PLA and how it gave a glow up to various Gen 2 & 5 pokemon.
Unfortunately, those designs alone aren't enough to sell me the game or the Switch. Not only that, you still need to pay for Home & Online subscription if you want to transfer them.

My only reason for not liking sneasler is the default posture, standing up straight while being so lanky is just uncanny and lifeless.
Would be much better if it was leaning forward slightly in a battle pose to compliment the oversized claws.

Definitely agree. Kind of a similar situation to Inteleon. I think Sneasler works better during battle, because it has more of a “ready to strike” stance.
@@GatorEX agreed in battle pose is nicer, I wish it was a bit more feral in stance like lycanroc midnight form to compliment the really oversized claws yet lanky arms

That’s my favourite part of sneasler. The battle stance it does makes it look more cool than weird but it casually standing in its idle animation is just weird. I also like Dire Claw.
Those are the only 2 things I personally like about it though.

While I admit that I still like Weavile more, Sneasler is still cool. And while I did originally think that they looked more feminine and like they’d be a pretty big target for “fur-baiting”, I’ll actually admit now that they don’t really look all that bad and gender wise have a much more neutral appearance.

As a fan of everything sloths, Sneasel line and Croagunk line, I can only be happy, unless is to replace Toxicroak.
I get it, Sneasler is better than Weavile design-wise and I am also biased in that way, however, I genuinely doubt we will have Sneasler come remotely close to the badassness of Weavile in Pokken Tournament. Weavile's Synergy Burst is massive fuckoff frost claws, is hard to top that crowned bish! She literally makes and jumps off of ice platforms MID AIR like is NOTHING!
I believe more sloth shaped pokemon can only be for the better of society, especially if they are chaotic!

I’m not super crazy about Sneasler. It just looks…off. I think it’s the face and limbs, they aren’t right to me. I will admit: riding around on the back of one in Legends Arceus is fun, and I think Sneasel-H is a pretty good design, I like it more than base Sneasel

Out of every Pokémon introduced in the Switch games, I think Sneasler is my favourite.
I’m a big fan of Pokémon that exude personality in their animations, and Sneasler is the queen of sass with that laugh it does.
Also Poison’s my favourite Type and they gave it to Sneasel which is a Pokémon I already liked a lot.

Sneasler is by far my favorite mon from hisui. I got a shiny sneasler for my first playtrough and it dominated every battle, it even got the final hit on volos Giratina with shadow Claw. But I lost my save data right before the home update so it didn't get to paldea sadly

I love Sneasler, and the whole Sneasel family to be honest. Though while I did like Sneasler initially I do think it is a Pokémon that was saved by having official 2D art. The model has great animation and displays a lot of personality but as a piece of art it was not doing my favorite cat weasler any favors.
And thank you for pointing out the name of the artist that created it and Flutter Mane, they’re definitely going to be on my watchlist from now on for great Pokémon designers.

weavile and normal sneasal are 4x weak to fighting but shitstomp phsycic types where as sneasler resists fighting types and can easily destroy them but loses to fighting types
