Hi Dennis, I often watch your Videos with pleasure, but this is the perfect example of the compulsive hoarder who likes to show treasures that will die without finding a new owner, what a shame to let these beautiful cars sleep in the dust
Video reminds me of an old buddy in high school back in the seventies.Had a sweet 55 Chevy we use to ride around in.Took it apart shortly after high school to make it better.Never did anything with it.Saw him recently, the car had completely rotted away.Only thing left is the memories!
I'm always amazed how much someone can accumulate throughout their life. Also sad that most of it will never be enjoyed and just rot away or be scrapped after they are gone. I guess if it brings you happiness, then bless you for that
What difference does it make they're his, they're in a garage they are not rotting, his son was by his side knows what's there what it's worth where's the problem besides you trying to make one
It's beyond sad to have so many great cars & won't sell any of them! Back in the mid 60's, my dad bought me a new 50cc Binelli mini bike. It was candy apple red & it was beautiful! I think he ordered it out of a Sears catalog, but it may have been another store. It had a 4 speed transmission. I'm 69 now & I can't remember whatever happened to it. As a 12 year old, it sure was fun to ride!❤
Only car thingy show I watch. This is the only car show that has a calming effect on me, it is really relaxing. I can watch for hours. Dennis Collins is the epitome of class. His crew are really good folk and they work hard. He treats his crew as equals. The shirt says Collin Brothers, has his brother appeared on any episodes.?

Good video. The family is enjoying all of the projects as they are and as they should since it's theirs. That white and black checkered floor being walked on in boots would drive me bonkers though.
I am 5 years older than that guy and I will never understand car hoarders, they don’t love their cars they just hoard them till they die and someone else finds them and gives them the love they deserve. Can you imagine having a G.T 500 and putting crap all over it only to pour a pile of money on a shell of a Sunbeam ! Just crazy. I guarantee he will never put either back on the road, maybe his son will.
Looks like we lived parallel lives, I’m 61, in 76 my first car was a 65 Mustang fastback, in 77 with my dad bought a 67 GT500. 65 was totaled by drunk driver in 82 so it’s long gone but I still have the GT500. I prefer my purple minibikes to be Tacos, have a 67 and 68…way cooler than the Hondas, heck Ed Roth rode a Taco!!!
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when he said "skyway". Some of that 80s knowledge stays in my head for some dumb reason. Wish I still have my Webco... had no idea that it would be valuable when I sold it back in 1988.
I lusted after a Honda 50 so bad when I was a kid.... My dad finally brought me one home in a crate, turn down to every piece.... His rich bosses soon had destroyed it, I had it together and running within 2 days, bars welded and flying around the hood .... Awesome memories from that little rig that just wouldn't die. Even when I later got a Yamaha 125 Enduro my brother and I would use the 125 to chase the 50 around in circles till we crashed and then traded off bikes and went at it again. Fun City.
The first BMX style bikes we rode and saw (I was a kid when that transition happened) had plastic fake fuel tanks on them and actual working shocks that we thought looked very cool. Then the plastic stopped being popular as it always broke in the first year anyway and people started making their own bikes out of what they could. Then actual BMX bikes started to come out.
My dad had a Volkswagen thing when I was in middle school. I found a tube sock full of silver quarters in the back door pocket that belonged to the previous owner. My twin sister burned the hell out of her leg on the exhaust in the back too. A lot of memories in that car
At first I thought the chequered reflection in the black car body at 4:39 was a beautiful paint job! 🏆🏁🤔 Edit: I also had a beautiful garden once, and then someone gave me some Geese, now I am the proud owner of one-acre of mud! I've seen a couple of Nash-Healy barn finds here in the midwest worth saving. Both on the same property. I saw the front ends and thought of you instantly.
Seeing that Honda trail 50 brought back the best memories. I flipped a bunch of Bmx bikes as a kid and traded up to a old Honda 50 just like that. I rode that thing into the ground but it never quite…. I’m not one to get rid of things but a young kid wanted it who didn’t have much so I figured I’d pay it forward. If he enjoyed it a 10 percent of the time I did it was well worth passing it on to the kid.
