- Welcome to Coffee Walk Ep. 135!
This week I decided to jump in the truck & trailer and head up North to buy a 1962 Jaguar XKE Fixed Head Coupe, from where I like to call, the Middle Of Nowhere, Kansas. We went from Dallas to Kansas and back in almost exactly 24 hours and managed to scoop up some rare Jeep parts and have some epic Kansas-Famous fried chicken and gizzards along the way.
As always… GO FAST, HAVE FUN & HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!! and thanks for watching!

Well done guys, you visited a small town to buy a car and also supported a local business, super important in these covid19 affected times.
Love it
Buys the whole menu and I am sure tipped memorably!
And, had a great meal to boot!
Dennis is at the stage of the game where he doesn't look for cars, the cars look for him.
Yeah I liked it too. I know he doesn’t do it, but I’d always like to know what he paid for the vehicles etc.
stupid cars then bather sell them your self and make cash
Yep, sounds like “Chasing Classic Cars!”
Dennis and Alex are such great guy's! Fair and genuine. It was an honor to have them out. Unforgettable experience.
Does your Cherokee have the same radio from the factory as the grand Wagoneer did do you know? I’ve got 3 Wagoneers and one may still have the original radio in it if it would work. Otherwise, I’ve got a buddy that has at least 50 cherokees, j10-j20’s, and Wagoneers and I can check with him to see if he has any of the parts you need. I’m over in N.C. but we can probly ship most stuff to ya if we can dig it up. This is a huge Jeep area and lots of old ones behind the barns yet.
Take care and be safe brother!
@@1982MCI oh cool! Wish there were more around here. I actually just put a Retrosound Bluetooth radio in it. Paid the same for the radio as I did for the whole parts jeep haha
@@funphild_adventures9139 hahaha yeah "you" did just put that radio in DIDN'IT YA!
Good to hear, he's not Dick ahh.. I mean Richard 😄
Well, Dennis didn't visit me while he was in Kansas, but I'll be filming with him in Texas soon for Car Trek!
Dennis is a tad out of your league grasshopper. $
@@kc9146 and you are? Lol exactly
@@kc9146 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 pmslooooooolouder hahaha

@@idontlikecops1 and you? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 # just saying# goose n gander 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I've got to admit, I always thought Dennis was a bit of a show off when he was on Fast n Loud but he comes across as a throughly decent chap on his YT videos.
Watching Dennis always puts me in a good mood. Such a happy guy.
Great guy, positive, friendly and fair
@@justinstiff5641 I had a 93 Mustang Cobra wrapper car with 34 original miles and woke up one morning to a voicemail from Dennis. We didn't make a deal, but yes, he's a good dude, and his staff at CB Jeep are also great. Love his channel. He deserves more subs.
I know, I simply believe that the passion supersedes the drive for whealth. Knowledge is way more valuable to the future of the hobby/youth. Thank you for your comment
? You ever tried watching urself 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I met him Saturday in person, great guy. He even took the time to talk with me and signed my shirt.
Someone needs to scratch the dogs ears.
Right. Dude just wants some love
Hahaha Lucy (the dog) gets plenty of lovin! 😁
CORRECTLY
Dennis seems to be a very generous and genuine person. I’ll bet the wait staff at the chicken joint was tipped in hundreds
Best episode so far in my humble opinion.
I want to go out to eat with Dennis, he orders everything on the menu.😃
I Love the meaning of the show, chasing cars, meet people and Find Places, It's the whole adventure Pack. Thanks Dennis.
Best part of Fridays is that we always have Coffee Walk to kick off our weekends!
Dennis, thanks for your support of small towns. We appreciate it more than you know!
I died laughing when he said I'm Obviously paying Alex too much !!!! hahaha 100 bucks to eat a chicken gizzard omg you can't even buy them in New York and I grew up in Texas and miss all the good food!!! Thanks For the best laugh I have had in forever!!!
I’ll remember that if I ever get to meet Dennis!! Maybe he’ll give me $500 if I eat a whole plate of gizzards with pepper sauce sprinkled on em??
Gizzards are tough, livers are tender
And don’t tell Dennis that I absolutely love both of em!!! I fry some up each week and gorge myself on them!! Alex truly doesn’t know what he’s missing but seems like he’s one of those goodie boys that never had a hungry day and if he had and tried em then I’m sure he’s love em!! They are better than white meat chicken
Dennis, could you do some updates on Cars that you’ve recovered.
One thing I love about living in Kansas, it doesn’t take long to find the middle of nowhere no matter where you’re at. Enjoying your videos, thanks for sharing your adventures. Peace
I enjoy when I get to stay in Kansas, I don't enjoy when I have to drive straight across it without stopping. Feels like it takes forever! Beautiful though.
Great episode! I like how Dennis always accepts the previously negotiated price....he doesn’t play games.
It's good for business people watching this will be more apt to call on him.
Now I'm hungry for some Olpe chicken!
Poor dog is just looking for a little attention. Come on guys!
@Mp Cops LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know, I was thinking the same thing.
Dennis, if I was still a young man, I would live on your doorstep until you hired me just so you could leave your house!! 😂 what an opportunity. Alex is a smart , lucky guy and you’re lucky to have him👍 Great vid!!
Dennis's jeep knowledge second to none, not far behind is his car knowledge. Thanks for another great video . 🙂👋Huntsville Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 🤘
This is the first ever Dennis Collins video that I have watched. I like it! He's genuine, fun, but not condescending or arrogant. And, he knows his car stuff. I'll probably watch more of these.
Phil was one cool fellow. Always a pleasure to do business with someone like that. Great video, very authentic.
Not too bad of a car, easy loading, great food, seems like a pretty good trip. It was really enjoyable to watch!
Gizzards best part good eatin
No matter where you are
Motorheads understand each other. 🤔🤔 some. SAY!!
In 1979 my father came home with a brand new Jeep Cherokee it was blue with black decals. I thought I was the coolest kid on the street.
Keep saving the classics . I remember when the wrecking yards were full of old humpback vintage cars . Then local rule changes said fence then in or crush em , most got crushed...sad .. progress..
Hey Dennis! As much as you love Jaguar E-Type coupes, here is one that comes close. It’s my 2004 Jaguar XKR. Out of 90,000 Jaguar XK8/R (X100) built, 45,000 came to the US. Two thirds were convertibles and only 10% were supercharged “R”. Do the math and that means out of 45,000 X100 brought to the US, less than 1,500 were XKR coupes.
WTF Alex?! That was an EASY DELICIOUS $100.
Love this vids and coffe walks keep up The good content wiht love from sweden.
How did Tyler Hover or Hoovie, WatchJRgo, Elliot Alvis, Tyler Potter, Car Wizard, and Johnny the German Car mechanic, and all the rest of the Wichita guys miss this?
You both made a new friend, looking for attention.
I use to do 24-36 hour road trips to get cars. Part of the fun.
As TommyFyeah would say, don't sleep. I don't think Dennis ever sleeps :)
Always great to see another car rescue. Another stellar save Dennis. I wish that you would show what happens to these Jags, like you do with the Jeeps.
Alex needs to try chicken gizzards, they are very good when done right. He also needs to try rocky mountain oysters.
It's everything you said it was. I will pay you what you wanted. How cool is this guy Dennis! But, Again. Where is Kelsey? Come on Dennis. It's time for her own RUclips Channel. You could do both. Shawn.
That was quite a find and the Jag made the chicken worth the drive. Cheers!
Gizzards are awesome
Next time your in kansas, stop through McPherson college...Jay leno has a hand in thier college
Thanks Dennis For the Show, always Amazing.
I was very excited when i found out that my 68 Vette was super rare. Like 1 of only 3 made.
that day.
before lunch.
I live in Commie California. It is so refreshing to see people eating in a restaurant, shaking hands, sans masks, you know...normal stuff that we can't do.
California, 52,000 dead and counting, three million cases and counting, kansas 4,700 dead and counting
@@dogsense3773 California population: 39.51 million. Kansas population: 2.91 million.
These are really enjoyable to watch! Love them!
Olpe chicken is the best! Went to college in Emporia and everytime my parents came to town we made them take us there.
I looked up Olpe and a picture of the Chicken House was the first thing I saw!!!
Just came across the channel. Shame we don't have any fast and loud anymore but looking forward to seeing all the videos on this channel :). Thanks Dennis.
Good find and really appreciate how you treat people you meet. Proof that we can all be fair and generous in life and still successful.
No one could be bothered giving the dog a pat. What a shame.
Hey Dennis, thanks fer takin' us along. You're a class act and I look forward to the next one.
Those boys were as glad to get rid of it as you were buying it.
Used to buy them out of the usa for under a grand from year 1999 to 2001 back to the UK and restore them. I've sell them in the UK or ship them back to the USA. Now you can't get them for under hundred and 60 thousand that's for a bad example. Love Etype jaguar but the day I can buy them is way gone.
Fella"s Eat At All The Town"s Greatest Mom & Pop"s Restraunt"s, HOW... HOW !!!! Does Dennis Get Away With Eating So, So Much Fried Food & NEVER Gain"s Any Weight !!!!
The dumbest question is the one not asked.
I love how cool Dennis and Richard treat people!!! Cool shit! Love seeing both Guy's! Much success!!
Of course that badge is cool, greatest flag in the world.
Agreed 🇬🇧
Best find video yet! Fantastic to be able to share your trips (particularly whilst we are in lockdown in England) great to see more than just the car such as the scenery and local restaurants. Those small local places are so much better than the pretentious mid market chains! Looking forward to more of the same.
watching from the UK and all i can say is thankyou for keeping these beautiful parts of history on the road .
I like the way Dennis does business! He seems like a very genuine & decent person!
man that ride home after eating all that fried food in Kansas.
Gizzards are great, Alex you missed out.
Good show. It looked like a lot of fun. I love those XKE Jags.😊
E types are on fire in Europe, this series 1, will sell for top dollar there.....
But at what cost to get it there tho?
@@1982MCI shipping : depends if you want your own container & done fast $5000 to I'll wait & stuff with other stuff $600.
Right now is finding a container, shipping agent & ship all available. C19 has put all coordinated shipping in a mess.
Dennis, great...one XKE saved from scrapped or ruined with a Chevy V8 conversion... although it's not a matching numbers with the Mark X engine it would be a great to see it back in its glory...or maybe in a race form...anyway, thanks for saving it and sharing with us! I hope we can follow up its restoration in the future 😎
You're a good man, Dennis. If I had some old, dusty, vintage Porsches or Jags sitting out in the barn, you'd be the man I'd call. Thanks for an entertaining video!!
I brought cash, if that’s ok! I love the way you do business.
I like watching these shows. Dennis seems like a good guy and very informative. This episode disturbed me because this seller had two Cherokee Chiefs both two door wide axle. Dennis didn't even comment on them. I know he is only interested in CJ`s but he has looked at and commented on many vehicles that he wasn't interested in buying. The full size wide axle Cherokee Chiefs are worth big money today and their value is climbing. I've owned many Jeeps CJs TJ ZJs grand Cherokees but the best was my 77 Cherokee Chief, and 79 Golden Eagle both wide track two door full size Jeeps. Dennis as a jeep guy could have said a few words about these amazing vehicles and their value both for the viewers and the seller. You really can't be in the business of Jeeps unless you give recognition to all the great vehicles that wear the badge.
Nice find guys! Enjoyed the show.
It's a 24 hour drive from my house the the Chicken House in Olpe. I may have to go there. Thanks Dennis.
Welcome to Greenwood County Kansas!
Love the way Dennis does car buying. Dont try lowballing or telling some one all the faults it as like IV saw some do in the car utube car world why IV always followed him he should have been the one with his on TV show
Cant help but get a Yuuuuge kick out of someone saying "it is cold" when it is 30 degrees no hat no gloves. Dennis you are great but but .... "c'mon man" 🤣
Dennis always had to much class for Gas Monkey. Hot Shot should have listened to Dennis about those Camaro’s.
Absolutely in love with your channel and content! Watched every video you've posted, only thing i wish is that the videos were longer like proper episodes, anywhere from 30 mins to an hour episodes would be absolutely amazing!!
Thank you for the amazing content
Dennis, how does story with this e-type continue? Would be great if you have any follow-up videos where did you end up with this... thanks!
Junior shows zero enthusiasm, I’m sorry Dennis ..it’s not his passion like it’s yours ..let the boy go and let him figure life out ..and then see if he comes back .
Dennis your amazing that’s why i follow your channel! You find these old cars and restore them incredible!
i always wanted to hot rod a e type with a 327 double hump fuelie heads chev v8 with 4 webers and extractors with a muncie ! would you think that would go or what !
That car needs a cassette tape of Survivor, little eye of the tiger as you whip out onto the street
You rescue all these cars but never seen them finished, !!
I like how they implemented going into a restaurant to add to the show.
Pet the 🐕
Never forget you can give anybody money, But if you feed them they will never forget.
Great find, E Type! And I thought Chanute Kansas was the middle of nowhere back in 2014. They have 9000 people, like a big city compared to where you guys were! 😎🇨🇦👍
Awesome find! I wish I had the knowledge to go out and fix up a treasure like this.
Passing on gizzard? No Way !
Absolutely love your channel I have learned a lot about Jeeps and European cars thanks for all the great vids 👍
absolute monsters, not petting that doggo, he wanted attention!!!!!!!!
I thought the car was cool..until the chicken house..mmm I'm hungry
I would like to see them doing the work to the cars they not see them buying 🚗
I so love being on these hunts with y’all and thank you for the local food stops nothing better than living and hunting!!!!!
I really enjoy your videos. Like who you are and how you conduct yourself and how you treat the people you deal with. You also have a great employee in Alex. I met you a few years ago at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Say hello to that awesome dog. What’s wrong with you guys?
Watching your videos makes my anxiety go away thank you Dennis I really mean it. My future business partner?
The most beautiful car ever ,Enzo Ferrari
E type.....there's no such thing as an XKE...😏
Man, i would work for you for free if i was a young man again, love what you are doing!!!!
Ok. I got my coffee and I'm ready to go get a jeep with ya
Why you ignore the lovely dog so much and even cut it out?
Nice shout out to Part's guys...
