For everyone asking about TOP SPEED - I did not do a top speed run as the bike can easily get past 170 kmph and the max speed we can hit on Kari's long back straight was just over 154 kmph. I hit 135 kmph even in the short straight in the first sector so the bike can really go fast effortlessly. I concentrated on seeing how the motorcycle behaves across different gears and the load the chassis can handle upon braking plus the weight distribution which is more important for real-world use

Something seems amiss with the upshifting. It looks like the clutch is slipping. Top speed at Kari was 167 kph speedo indicated in 5th gear as recorded by Sarge, as his corner speed and exit out of the final corner were mega.
I overshot a corner so I had to disengage and reengage back that way.. Not a problem with clutch.... I didn't push for top speed if I did 160 is an easy peasy... Sarge is a different beast lol

5:13 the way it shifted was a little weird? The sound at least was.
I overshot the corner on a run which I did not show in the video so I had to shift back and forth
@RoadsAndRevs, I am able to see the single digit speed increment in the speedometer that is not the case with new duke 390. I think it is not as quick as duke 390.

2 cylinder take off after 10k rpm where duke will go max 10-11rpm

Yes easy to shift...I'd recommend it if the rider is confident enough to manage the motorcycle

I did not try to hit top speed I wanted to see the overall balance of the motorcycle at sudden shifts and braking

No.. I am not hitting the redline because this video is not intended to show the top speed but how the motorcycle behaves across gears and sudden agitations

If the max rpm is 10k ,i think in 6 th gear it will go upto 185 km /h. As last gear is Over ride gear...Lets see..
RS457 can easily go past 155 in 4th.. can reach close to 170 in 5th ... The top speed will be way over 180 on longer stretches, it's that damn good

I Talked to Sagar and he said ,he is also testing but he is not at the same time when u and dino bolt testing.. but he pushed a little more...

i m still buying R3 and do a slipper clutch mod.. i like the rev band R3 has.. Its wheel base is so sweet to do long high speed corners..But I admit RS is a faster bike..
It is way too expensive for what it is and has old styling that does not have any pedigree of being a 5.5L bike. I would rather spend a bit more and go for a 650 Kawa than an R3

@@dem0_o14 rs 457 is the best option.. I m comfortable with the thought of buying an r3.. I ve ridden a R3 very aggressively before and it impressed me .. rs is globally a new bike.. the looks the features and more power is also tempting.. I may change my mind to RS.. who knows 🤓🤓
