One of the reasons that Alita was so emotionally expressive to the audience was because of Rosa's heart and commitment to her role through and through.

That's because "progress" done right is inclusive, not exclusive. But Identity Politics are there to exclude, and that's why so many SJWs hate on Alita
I am one of the audience! Please make many sequels of the Alita movie! I am encouraging my friends and colleagues to watch the movie! Love it! We love you, Rosa, for doing such an amazing and fantastic job with the Alita character. Bravos!
Great interview. I absolutely loved the movie. Rosa has incredible charisma. The action is top shelf. As a fan of the Alita source material I was so happy to see it adapted so well. I truly hope we get more from the Battle Angel. "I do not stand by in the presence of evil" Alita is a badass.
You know that corny love story in the movie? I loved it and other people did as well. There were a bunch of people tearing up at the end.. Saw this movie twice. Loved it
Yeah I didn't see what the hate was about regarding that. I think it was cute and well enough written and Hugo did good enough. Honestly love between cyborgs might be the purest form of love, we don't know since we have never had the chance to actually try it. I think however that any long-term love with someone like Alita would be a fusion of romance and the type of brotherly love characterized by soldiers and others in dangerous professions.
It also made a lot of sense. Alita has a mind of a teenage girl, so she will fall in love easily and clumsily. We all had that awkward, puppy love phase during our adolescence
So true. I didn't mind the romance at all, because the romance in this movie actually is intentional and not forced. Unlike every movie with romances as a subplot. They're usually super cringey and awful. Which comes to another thing. I have this deep hatred for rushed, badly written romances that are subplots in movies that it's like my spider sense for bad writing. So, since the romance in this movie didn't bother me at all, the writing around the romance is actually pretty good! It's believable enough and cute enough to actually make me cry by the end of the movie, so, the romance actually served a purpose.
Almost everyone I've spoken to loves this movie. I barely heard anything about this movie. No ads no nothing. The only reason I went to see it is because I heard critics and feminists hating it. I'm SO glad I did. It was amazing! Dont listen to the critic or shill media fans LOVE it and the sequels will get more eyes
Went and saw this again tonight, they only had it on one screen due to Captain Manhater, but the theater was FULL. Weeks after release, on the opening day of CM. I was so happy.
"We have so many male protagonists, that we can relate to, I relate! ... Here we have a female protagonist that young boys can relate to." She doesn't put anyone down and knows people don't have to be the same sex or race to be inspired by them. What a class act. Rosa and Alita may not have won the box office compared to her "competition", but she comes out on top where it counts -- being a great person and character that both women and men can admire.

Rosa Salazar is a character herself XD THIS is what a strong independent woman looks like Hollywood... she doesn’t need to tear others down in order to be elevated. She’s funny, successful, and doesn’t look down on others for just being different... awesome actor and character. Love her!
Captain marvel: yeah, i'm honored to be in this franchise (with emotionless brick face, just rolling her eyes, no passion whatsoever) Alita: yeah, i'm glad to be given this opportunity (expressed her feelings with passionate eyes, her hands and humble face) *just give me alita sequel asap*
Holy crap that was the most honest and excellent interview of any celebrity I've ever seen. She believes the things she says. I love the character of Alita, THAT is a female protagonist. Masculine, feminine, strengths and weaknesses of both. Amazing.
Near the end she answered the question about being a female lead that everyone can look up too. Her answer was wonderfully put together and presented. So good it could have been slowed down as I listened to it twice to catch it perfectly. It was an important answer worth soaking in. Perspective is an element in so many aspects of life, I'm glad she ended her presentation on it as you need that context to hopefully have people "get it".
Brie larson would just completely hate on males, but here Rosa says that boys can also relate to alita, that gender is no object. A true actress of class
My emotions convoluted at the end of the movie. I was weeping while the credits was on the screen. To see a female character that has a lot of heart and loyalty, is something you don't see very often.
Rosa Salazar is a great actress. I'm a big fan of the manga and she really brought Alita to life, I was blown away. Her respect for the art is great, looking forward to seeing more of her.
Rosa absolutely nailed this part. This video mentions the kissing scene as a possible negative? But the kissing scene was powerful, and so well done, because it really added to Alita's humanity is such a positive way.Rosa Salazar now joins Maisie Williams (Arya Stark in the Game of Thrones) as the coolest female leads of the modern era.
Thank you for giving a life to Alita. You did an outstanding job indeed. I want you to play on Alita 2, so I'm going to theaters as many as possible till the end of roadshow.
I ABSOLUTELY loved this film to pieces and I am hoping that a sequel will continue on from this film. They all deserve it. Applause to the cast and crew. 🔥

i loved the movie sooooo much i watched it over 50 times, i showed it to my whole family. This movie had a soul, it was pure, it touched something deep within. Please i beg you make a part 2.
Alita Battle Angel. Being a movie that is 'Intended' to show female empowerment, the end product is much much better than gold. The movie actually shows more about the empowerment of human, and how such a great soul and big heart can do great to the world. The fact that 'WE ALL Can Relate This Movie To Our Life' is something mesmerising. Brilliant. Brilliant indeed.👏👏👏
I loved the film but what I was most inspired by was the fact that Alita was kind and gentle but could kick @$$ when needed. She wasn’t harsh and angry like most heroines. She was naive in some instances but not stupid. I also liked that she used strategy in her fights. She wasn’t just a brawler(ie wild animal).
Loved Rosa's performance. She is a fantastic actress who played the role to perfection. Loved the movie for the effects as well, but the character of Alita grabbed my heart.

That side kick to take down the last guy in the Kansas Bar while she stood stock still, and was talking to Dr. Ido, was a testament to her martial arts training! I saw the clip where she did it in real life in the performance capture costume, side by side with the CGI version, and it was almost identical, except a little faster in the CGI.😲😁👍 *EDIT:* 6:58 - 7:40 Oh damn! Why you gotta make me cry again! *THIS* is what makes Rosa the perfect actress for this part! If she can get that kind of response from the creator of this saga, she's doing it right!😍
Rosa Salazar nailed it in one! I was fully aware she was CGI, I fell in love with the 'big' eyes. But even as Hugo (the character) said, she was the most human character in the movie!
Already watched the movie twice in cinemas! So I can't wait to see the second Alita. I'm also going to buy a digital copy or a BluRay as soon as it will be released!
My family and I loved Alita and with each interview we find of Rosa it's impossible not to love this actor. She's got such a lovely personality, and it's great to see a actor that loves story and character as much as the audience. We really hope we get a sequel. The way the mainstream media treated this film is horrible.

@@di3g04 I doubt you really understand feminism then. It's like freedom of speech. Do you criticize the person who uses their speech to hurl poison and brew hatred? Yes. Do you condemn then the right to speak? No. Feminism is the same. Do you support the equality of all people and their right to seek the fulfillment of their lives without persecution, prejudice, or injustice based on gender? Then you're a feminist. That's the heart of it and when people abuse or distort the fundamentals they are exactly like the person abusing their right to speech: You condemn them and not their right to speak.
@@Biomirth, you are deeply confused. Feminism has absolutely nothing to do with equality, never has done and never will. You can philosophise and intellectualise all day long but the facts and reality of feminism will never back up the equality argument.

You can dismiss philosophy (without knowing what a premise is) but you can barely spell it let alone grapple with it. She: But this is a female hero for girls and boys that both can relate to...
Me: Oh... tnx god, she did it right.
This is the first time I have seen a actor answer that question in a good uplifting way.
That's because "progress" done right is inclusive, not exclusive. But Identity Politics are there to exclude, and that's why so many SJWs hate on Alita
Much better than a narcissist that starts with a B.
What is wrong with being a girl whom boys and men like and admire and vice versa.
This lady is awesome, and awesome people don't need to demand your praise they just get it... because they deserve it.
You know that infectious enthusiasm that you got from Alita watching the movie? That's what I'm picking up in this interview as well.
Rosa, I'm one of your fans from Maze runner 2 &3, bird box and now Alita! 😊
You know that corny love story in the movie? I loved it and other people did as well. There were a bunch of people tearing up at the end.. Saw this movie twice. Loved it
I thought the corny love story was cute! Technically it was also in the manga so it wouldn’t be necessarily correct if they didn’t add it lol
I don't get how people said they hated it. Have they no soul?
Why did feminists hate it?
@@quinreimer5906 no clue. Probably because they were rah rah captain marvel at the time and wanted to bring down anything against it?
Went and saw this again tonight, they only had it on one screen due to Captain Manhater, but the theater was FULL. Weeks after release, on the opening day of CM. I was so happy.
"We have so many male protagonists, that we can relate to, I relate! ... Here we have a female protagonist that young boys can relate to." She doesn't put anyone down and knows people don't have to be the same sex or race to be inspired by them. What a class act. Rosa and Alita may not have won the box office compared to her "competition", but she comes out on top where it counts -- being a great person and character that both women and men can admire.
thanks very much for this nice interview.
i'm so excited to discover the movie
emachan ME TOO !!!! 🙏🏽👍👊🏼👌🏼🙌🏻
Hey brie larson you should pay attention this is how you promote your movie you can learn lessons from rosa
"Like winning an Oscar" She's too good for them!!!
The answer she gave about being able to relate is amazing! I agree with it so much.
Hopefully people spread the word and more people go see the movie, it was good. I'm going to see it again this week!
Rosa is doing it right.. other actresses should take note. I love everything about this film
WELL SAID I AGREE WITH YOU 100% ROSA SALAZAR IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND GREATEST COOLEST ACTOR EVER SHE IS MY FAVORITE ACTOR SHE WAS PERFECT FOR THE ROLE OF ALITA SHE IS SUCH AN AMAZING GREAT TALENTED HUMBLE ACTOR LOVE HER FILMS ANYWAYS ARE YOU SAVED DANIEL DAIGLE ? HAVE YOU ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE I COULDN'T IMAGINE HEAVEN WITHOUT YOU
I want to see more movie of Alita
Rosa Salazar is a character herself XD THIS is what a strong independent woman looks like Hollywood... she doesn’t need to tear others down in order to be elevated. She’s funny, successful, and doesn’t look down on others for just being different... awesome actor and character. Love her!
@IDream0fDeathbutDreamsDon'tComeTrue a credit to her parents.
Rosa is beautiful 😍😍😍
You are great,Rosa 😭
I do want alita 2 right now please want more...
@@pamelatyree3521 hey Pamela
Priceless interview thank you so much! I didn't know Rosa was so passionate and had such a pure soul, I can't believe her she's adorable!
She’s cute as both as Alita and herself no Alita is cuter
No ill marry them both. Also making baby cyborgs would be fun.
Rosalita is the best
@@VizardUltimo ummmmmm her name is rosa not Rosalita
Captain marvel: yeah, i'm honored to be in this franchise (with emotionless brick face, just rolling her eyes, no passion whatsoever)
Alita: yeah, i'm glad to be given this opportunity (expressed her feelings with passionate eyes, her hands and humble face)
*just give me alita sequel asap*
Yeah its like captain marvel is literally just threw it together and replaced a good actor with bre last minute. Hated the shittiness of the film
YEP ANYWAYS ARE YOU SAVED GLENN LAYCOCK ? HAVE YOU ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE I COULDN'T IMAGINE HEAVEN WITHOUT YOU
Brie larson would just completely hate on males, but here Rosa says that boys can also relate to alita, that gender is no object. A true actress of class
Rosa Salazar >>> Brie Larson
Excuse me but that was brilliant. I'm off to write a comic strip about Arya and Alita meeting in a cafe
Thank you for giving a life to Alita. You did an outstanding job indeed. I want you to play on Alita 2, so I'm going to theaters as many as possible till the end of roadshow.
Alita!! What great interview, the best one yet
I ABSOLUTELY loved this film to pieces and I am hoping that a sequel will continue on from this film. They all deserve it. Applause to the cast and crew. 🔥
We all have to do all we can to promote this movie and go back and see it again as many times you can so that we get many more Alita movies! I also want to see many more movies from this actress in the future! Much love to everyone involved in this movie! Bravo! And thank you! 💋🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦🌹
She was stunning in the movie, beautiful and emotional, a great actress.
New Rising star for hollywood films Rosa Salazar New favorite star in hollywood films Rosa Salazar...Jennifer lawrence left the chat..
I loved this movie, I loved Alita, and I love Rosa.
She really shines in this interview! Tremendous presence in one so young.
the eyes was never been an issue.,i smiled just looking at her, she is very innocent then badass
i loved the movie sooooo much i watched it over 50 times, i showed it to my whole family. This movie had a soul, it was pure, it touched something deep within. Please i beg you make a part 2.
Her acting was so impressive. The outstanding interface of the CG technology and her acting made this movie so outstanding.
i love this interview so much!
Thank you so much :-)
My favorite interview 🤗
Alita Battle Angel.
Being a movie that is 'Intended' to show female empowerment, the end product is much much better than gold. The movie actually shows more about the empowerment of human, and how such a great soul and big heart can do great to the world. The fact that 'WE ALL Can Relate This Movie To Our Life' is something mesmerising. Brilliant. Brilliant indeed.👏👏👏
I went to see ALITA Battle Angel 2 days in a row! Amazing movie!
This movie really needs a sequel.
Great movie Alita was such a wholesome character
Rosa and Alita will be visiting the 2019 Oscars.
Fantastic emotional action movie !
This is a great movie! Please make Alita 2
.
I regret I missed that movie in cinema. I would pay double the price for a ticket to be in a premiere right now.
Well the movie is back on big screen.
Imagine rosa salazar started crying while she was doing the interview I would've cried with her I love her so much🥺❤❤❤
I loved the film but what I was most inspired by was the fact that Alita was kind and gentle but could kick @$$ when needed. She wasn’t harsh and angry like most heroines. She was naive in some instances but not stupid. I also liked that she used strategy in her fights. She wasn’t just a brawler(ie wild animal).
9:03 UGH, she just GETS it. Anyone with a human brain can relate to another person with a human brain. Thank you Rosa.
Victor Gan that’s the point! As Rosa says👏🏼
Dude! the creator of Alita just call her that when she hugged him...how awesome is that!!
This movie surprised the hell out of me. Great movie
Loved Rosa's performance. She is a fantastic actress who played the role to perfection. Loved the movie for the effects as well, but the character of Alita grabbed my heart.
AWWW YEAH EXACTLY I AGREE WELL SAID ROSA SALAZAR IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND GREATEST COOLEST ACTOR EVER SHE WAS PERFECT FOR THE ROLE OF ALITA SHE IS MY FAVORITE ACTOR SHES SUCH AN AMAZING GREAT TALENTED HUMBLE ACTOR LOVE HER FILMS ANYWAYS ARE YOU SAVED DOUGLAS DANDRIDGE ? Such a cool & classy young lady! The rest of Hollyweird needs to listen and learn from her carefully. Can't wait for Alita 2.
You have SUCH a pure soul, Rosa. Loved the movie, watched it 4 times. and btw the interviewer is so sweet!
If she can get that kind of response from the creator of this saga, she's doing it right!😍
We all knew most of her movies were comedies and it was unexpected to see her doing a great action movie such as Alita. Such an amazing actress
I'm sure this woman really knows the values of the life. It was pleasure to watch the flow of the whole interview (something that I don't do, usually). Thanks for sharing! :)
YEAH EXACTLY I AGREE ROSA SALAZAR IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND AMAZING ANYWAYS ARE YOU SAVED SVETLJO ? HAVE YOU ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE I COULDN'T IMAGINE HEAVEN WITHOUT YOU
Rosa is a good actress! Love to see her in the other sequels of alita! And also, she has a beautiful voice!💖💖💖
7:25 "... and I jumped, and I wrapped up my arms around his neck, and I said HELLO! , and he just whispered so slightly in my ear, Alita." The mind who creates Alita recognize her in Rosa, that's enough 🙏
More than enough. I think that would be one of the highlights of this movie experience for her, for all time.
What a sweetheart. Give her the bloody sequel!
I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING A FEMINIST STATEMENT.
She did a good feminist statement. Feminism is not bad, feminazis are bad
@@enzobg2011 feminist agenda is bad
@@ismarin I find your response sad. You've not bothered to understand even the most basic premise of a very simple ideology and instead have gone with your gut. Probably all day long people tell you that certain things exist because its feminism but you've never bothered to figure out what that is. You can (falsely) couch your comment in words about history but you've never studied it. You can dismiss philosophy (without knowing what a premise is) but you can barely spell it let alone grapple with it. No, it's enough for you to be sure about your assumptions and like a measles vector, perpetuate ignorance wherever you go. I suggest you study these things and then when they go wrong (in your book) you'll be able to both understand why and be able to counter the things you find problematic without resorting to ignorant intuition and calling it fact. Moreover you'll be able to contribute to the progress of civilization rather than simply knee-jerk reacting to things that frighten or anger you with simplistic resistance.
Can't believe it's been 4 years! Still my favourite Rosa interview! Hopefully she gets the sequel she deserves soon. 🤞
