We actually have a pair of the YU2's (bought them years ago). They work great at our main computer in the office. We replaced a crappy pair of $30 Best Buy speakers and the sound improvement was dramatic! It is good to work while streaming music.
While the design comes from Vancouver Canada, the manufacturing is done in China. However, this doesn't mean they aren't of good quality. Kanto Audio stands by their products with a 24 month manufacturer's warranty for any defective unit or part. Based on our experience, these products are built well and last several years.
